We went on this tour of the Fremont section of Vegas last week on our first day in the city. What a great way to start our vacation with a walking tour of the history of the original Vegas strip, as well as a an insight into the newest funky part of Vegas, East Fremont. Our tour guide Kelly was entertaining and informative. This is a Must Do!

Update: Just spent the afternoon with my mother on this tour. The guide was fantastic– he gave her a lot of attention, pretty much customized the tour for her. He was so knowledgeable and since she is super into history, she had an absolute blast! Keep it up LVWT! :)

My wife was reticent to go, but when we were done she said it was one of the best tours she could have imagined! Kelly gave us the tour. His knowledge was incredibly deep about the history of Downtown Las Vegas and his enthusiasm about it’s future was infectious! We had a flight that didn’t allow us to make the later tour, so they gave us a private tour at 11:00 — nobody else signed up, but they wanted to be sure we didn’t miss it. The ONLY thing we regret was doing this at the end of our trip instead of the beginning. I’ve been going to Las Vegas for decades and always stayed on the strip. From now on, we’ll be Downtown — it’s changed from lowbrow to incredibly fun and young — especially east of Fremont. Give it a try — this place has transformed!
