I flew in to Vegas from Montana on Sunday, Dec 13^th. I had a tooth bothering me all the way down but thought nothing of it. Monday morning I woke up and the pain was excruciating! The worst tooth pain I’ve ever dealt with.
I Googled ‘Vegas Dentist’ and a bunch popped up and I chose this one due to the high ratings.
I picked correctly! From the first phone conversation I felt I had chosen the right place. Very warm and nice… even sympathetic though she’d never met me. I told her my issues and she replied «we’ll get you in and taken care of». I was staying at Palazzo so I scurried out to the cab stand and darted over and checked in. After filling out the paperwork I tried to keep my mind off my tooth by playing a golf game on my smart phone. I didn’t have to wait long though.
Even though I had no appointment, and showed up out of the blue, they were X-​raying my teeth 20 minutes after my arrival and within 30 minutes had diagnosed my need for a root canal.
Again, the waiting area was full, the place was busy, but they managed to squeeze in my root canal an hour later and 90 minutes after that, I was on my way back to the hotel. Feeling GREAT!
The staff here is the best of the best. All of the women introduced themselves to me, were very friendly, and even offered to shake my hand. The dentist is awesome also. He has a way about him that calms your nerves and helps you relax. I like the little bird habitat as well :) Kept my mind off of what was happening.
This was all fairly traumatic. I was in town on business and came a day early to enjoy myself, exercise and have a great dinner. I accomplished none of that thanks to my bum tooth. But the experience at this dental clinic really made a bad day, GREAT!
Thank you all and since I’m in Vegas so often, I’m thinking of switching from my hometown office in Montana to your place.

I have found a gem of a place right here at Lasting Smiles Dentistry. I’ve always been afraid of going to the dentist ever since I could remember, and as always, I was full of anxiety and I literally brought myself to tears the first time I walked in the door. I was only here to get emergency work done as I always do because unless it hurts, you won’t find me at the dentist. From that first moment however, the staff there treated me with the highest level of genuine respect, compassion, and kindness and not to mention patience when it came to explaining the procedures, and why coming back for the follow up appointments was very important.
I normally never come back for a follow up but for whatever reason, I’m glad I did. When I walked through the door the second time, I was very impressed with Cynthia who remembered my name and was very personable right from the beginning. Now that I have become a «regular» here at Lasting Smiles, I see Cynthia as a true friend. She sings, gives out free hugs, and is just an all around awesome person.
As I start a new chapter of my life out in California, there is nothing that would stop me from making that drive all the way back to Las Vegas, to come here for my dental work. They are really that good in what they do. I now have a new and improved outlook on visits to the dentist, and the rest as they say… is history. I give big kudos to the Dr’s and staff at Lasting smiles. Keep up the good work.
P. S. Trust me when I say that sleep dentistry is the way to go. It’s a no brainer.

I generally do not write reviews, however I certainly feel the necessity to write this one. The experience I had at Lasting Smiles was absolutely amazing. I was greeted with the utmost bubbliest and friendly person in the front desk, Cynthia. Not only did she help me in the front office, she also took my x-​rays which was absolutely amazing. With them having such awesome personnel, I would recommend them to anyone.

Complacent is the best word I can think of to explain Dr. Ghodsi. The staff is very friendly on a positive note, and the little bird sanctuary is nice. Besides that I’m very upset with my experience. I definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone that they pay up front because you won’t get the service you agreed upon in your consultation or an explanation of why. When I brought up my concern all I got was a «why are we talking about this now». Stupid me, mark it up as a $ 10,000 out of pocket mistake. Oh, and my insurance is «tapped out» for the year now too because of this. So, as I find another dental provider to accomplish what I already paid Dr. Ghodsi to fail at, all further expenses will be out of pocket on my behalf. I also found that Dr. Ghodsi is on probation with the dental examiners board so beware.

I’ve had good experiences and bad experiences with this office. While the staff is friendly and courteous for the most part, there seems to be a fair amount of turnover. The dentist I started with left, and Dr. Ghodsi himself took over and he’s not so friendly. In fact, he had an attitude. I also feel some of their business practices (like adding services to my appointment without telling me or trying to change up the frequency of my x-​ray examinations) were questionable and unethical. Although the bird sanctuary, flatscreens and waterfall feature are nice, they’re probably adding on to the cost of treatment, and can’t replace good service.

This is the best dentist in Las Vegas. Very friendly staff and very clean relaxed office. His atrium with the birds put you at ease and give you something todo while they are working in your teeth. They offer sedation dentistry for those of us that hate pain. It is the best thing ever.

If you have any dental phobias this is where you need to go. To begin I was greeted as soon as I arrived and was one can fill out all of the forms online in the comfort of your home. The waiting area is calming with the water feature and there is a coffee and tea service area available. There are beautiful books to thumb through, I also appreciated there were no dental horror books in the waiting room. When I was called to the back there is a beautiful backdrop filled with plants and birds. The staff were all kind and gentle. I need extensive work and Dr. Ghodsi had me return for a second consultation so he could further study my case. I appreciated that I was not rushed and I was given several options. If one is considering implants 3D have to be done and they have the equipment. There are several options and levels of sedation for phobics like me. Now I just need to make a decsion for a treatment plan and finance the work.

1. Staff and office is good
2. Asking to do two x-​rays: one classic and then 3-​D to see more. Should really do 3D from a start when job is demanding.
3. Misleading advertising: «Implants $ 695 Each With Free Consultation!». In reality it is only part or labor, but not both. It is like saying, «oil change $ 30!» but then charge for oil extra $ 30. In reality, T&M would be $ 1400 and then unspecified charges on the top.
4. Not knowing or hiding the success rate for their implants.

I just want people to know that this dentist is rude. I left his office in tears. While he thought I was under he cussed me out. I kept moving my hands because I wasn’t out completely and he was hurting me. His tech confirmed everything when I questioned her right after my surgery.
When I confronted him he got very angry and slammed his palm on the table. Then he walked out. He came back and acted like he wanted to help me. But you could see in his eyes that he was fed up with me.
I went to him because I had terrible experience as a child and have always feared dentist. In the last Several years Novocain dose not numb me so his promise of sleep dentistry sounded good. However, if it worked I wouldn’t have heard him say «this is bulls***! I don’t have to put up with this!!!
After paying 20 plus thousand, I think he should care for his patients experience. He’s a vain, money hungry guy that’ doesn’t put his patients first. I never went back.
This guy is all about the money. Patient care seemed secondary to me.

First of all, I have to be honest and tell you that I was totally petrified to ever go back to a dentist again after having had a horrible experience with a root canal I had done in Connecticut. My husband’s friend recommended Dr. Ghodsi. My husband made an appointment for me at Lasting Smiles. Several times prior to my appointment, I told my husband I couldn’t do it. I was just THAT scared. My husband couldn’t take seeing me in so much pain anymore, so he MADE ME GO! And I mean he really MADE me. He took me because he knew they did sedation dentistry. I walked in the front door and immediiately was greeted with the most pleasant, sweet and comforting staff ever! Joanna and Shannon at the desk were so nice. I told them I was there and sat a few minutes and Cynthia with a huge smile came out and said Mary Mills. With my husband standing between me and the front door, Like a trouper, I went back and had my full Xrays done. Cynthia and Brandy were cheering me on lol. I had to go back to have the work done and if someone told me I had to do it again, I would go in a heartbeat! If you are a coward like me, TRUST me SEDATION works! I didn’t have Dr. Ghodsi but I had Dr. Weinberg do my procedure. He is a very gentle dentist. Even Dr. Weinberg’s voice was also so comforting. The office is very clean and beautiful. I just loved the waterwall. They also have a gorgeous aviary to look at as you are being seen, it is truly sooooo calming, I highly recommend Lasting Smiles Dental Care to everyone! I went back this morning had my stitches taken out. Thank You so much Brandy :) I am having a crown put into place next week and I am no longer afraid!

Dr. Ghodsi and his staff at Lasting Smiles are the best. The office is beautiful and most importantly clean! They have the latest technology both to make your experience less painful and give their staff most accurate information. For example, there was an xray machine that is gives the doctor very clear images and then I got a text message reminding me of my appointment. How cool is that?! When you walk in, it feels like you are checking into a hotel. While you are in the chair you are looking at this bird aviary. The whole staff polite and professional and they educate you on what exactly is happening in your mouth which I found very important. On top of all that, the staff was incredibly friendly and they really listened to me. I would recommend them to anyone. I honestly feel that they care about me, and that is rare these days.

Nice atmosphere but hard to find. Tucked behind Meadows Mall in a small out of the way (semi run down looking) office park. Inside however it is spa-​like and serene, which was a very nice surprise. Staff is very friendly and hygienist was very sweet, calling me by name and genuinely concerned for my schedule and comfort during my cleaning. The dentist seems nice but on my second visit I waited 45 minutes for him to talk to me at which point I bailed on the appointment as I had to get back to work without ever seeing he dentist. I will continue to use them but if the waiting becomes an issue then I may have to go elsewhere, which would be too bad as the office has a nice concept.
They do sedation dentistry which is the main reason I selected them — I usually hate going to the dentist! The bird aviary visible through the windows while you are getting your teeth cleaned is a really nice, relaxing touch and generally puts you at ease during the appointment. For that, I do like the place. The staff too is super nice and accommodating.
