What an adorable, unexpected find! Wandered into Les Memoires while passing time before The Nutcracker and happily discovered beautiful soaps, lotions, perfumes and other covetable bath and beauty items along with cute home trinkets. A lot of the lines appeared to be similar to the ones I adore at Anthropologie. There were several things I considered snapping up for a gift, and the prices seemed affordable. There was even a little clearance corner with some real steals. Monogrammed cheese tray for $ 10? I asked my husband if it was cheesy… no pun intended. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Paris with some time on your hands. You can even moisturize those hands with a dollop from one of their many tester lotions!

Funny that I should follow up with a 2nd review of this place after the first reviewer who happens to share the same profile picture with me… WELL. We strolled into this little shop after dinner at the Le Village buffet in the Paris hotel. In search of little gifts for our friends back home(in NY), we spent a few minutes browsing. OH. MY. GAWD. This place is amazing. They carry everything from exquisite French-inspired soaps, body butters, lotions, and perfumes to bathrobes and lovely, hand-made greeting cards. I bought a jar of crème brûlée body butter that I just could not resist. $ 28 a pop. Not cheap. But oh-so-worth-it. Sweet dreams…
