Welcome to Lin Law Group, a Las Vegas based law firm. We serve clients throughout Southern Nevada, including Central Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, and Summerlin and Phoenix greater area. Our practice areas include Immigration, Personal Injury, Business Start Up, Criminal Law, Family Law, Estate Planning, Probate, Debt Negotiation, and Bankruptcy.

History

Established in 2007.

Michael M Lin, the founder of the firm, graduated from UNLV William S Boyd School of Law in 2006. Attorney Lin is an active member of the American Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association, and American bankruptcy Institute.

Attorney Lin worked as a chiropractor prior to entering law school. Attorney Lin enjoyed helping people from various health problems and decided to attend law school as he saw a need of a good ethical attorney that is lacking. Attorney Lin carries his passion in assisting people to the legal field and hope he can assist his client just as he assisted his former patients from their health problems. Attorney Lin continues his passion in better serving his clients by keeping himself up-​to-​date with legislative changes and participating in numerous continuing legal education courses to enhance his professional knowledge. Attorney Lin also prides himself of having the medical background in assisting clients that were involved in personal injury.

Had a speeding ticket coming back to Vegas from California. Was planning to go to court myself in two days and do the traffic school to reduce the point (s) and save on insurance.
But had dinner recently at the Wicked Spoon with Suki L and her friend, and the topic of traffic tickets came up. So I hit her up for a referral, and after a brief phone conversation with the receptionist, I dropped by the office and retain the services of the Lin Law Group.
They can’t guarantee that they can reduce the fine, but they do try to get the citation reduced from a traffic violation to parking ticket and no traffic school. Which is worth the $ 35 fee, in lieu of the cost and time spent on traffic school.
I know there are other local law firms/​practices that offer similar services for clients with a speeding ticket, some charges a lower fee and others a higher fee. But overall I am satisfied with the services rendered.
The result of paying the fee to the law firm is that the speeding ticket, a moving violation that is surely going to make my insurance rate go up, was re-​categorized as a parking violation. I still have to pay the full amount of my ticket, but at least I did not have to deal with the hassle of a traffic school (attending and paying).
The only minor thing that I thought would have made this a 5 star review, was that after dropping off my ticket for them to verify which court has jurisdiction of my ticket and court appearance and paying the $ 35 retainer fee, I never heard back from them. After waiting about 2 – 3 weeks after my scheduled court date, I called them and was told that they just received update on my case. I came in, they gave me the envelope to mail my check for the amount of my fine to the court, and everything was good to go. Except that the date on the document was dated over a week earlier. Had I not called them, I wonder how long it would have taken for them to get back to me, like they promised. Or what additional fines I might have had to pay if the payment was not sent in in time, had my case follow-​up fell through the crack.
Anyway, still 4 stars for the results.

Great firm and Great people. Was able to get my ticket resolved for $ 35. Give them a call and see what they can do for you. They also very good with dealing with Auto Accidents, Bankruptcy, and Personal Injury.
