I dont write bad things to people.
But because this place I dont have green card today and I have a lot of problem in my case.
The immigration work like a robots and Maggi did a lot of errors in the letters to the immigration, even my name she didn’t spell like the passport. I’m more than a year on this case and nothing no happened.
Bad office! I spend more than 10,000 $ for this case because all the problem they did me and one year it’s just the beginning.

Maggie really came through for me in a pinch! After being scammed by another paralegal, I went to Maggie for her help & I had a very tight timeline to work with. Her fees were very reasonable and more importantly she delivered as promised & on time! I would highly recommend her for your paralegal needs.

I have included the email I sent her after she hung up in my face for NO REASON:
Good Day Ms. Maggie,
I and others call you for help. I just wanted to make sure everything is done correctly, NOT HOLD MY HAND. Also, if I am willing to pay for this service, what is the issue? Your actions speaks loudly, people that act in the manner you did typically are on drugs or overwhelmed with day to day life. So, I am sending you this email letting you know you need help and I pray you find it soon.

Maggie is an amazing paralegal! She was I informative and answered every question I could possibly come up with. She always calls back and never leaves any thing undone.
My fiancé and I are able to get married now because she helped with his default divorce. Getting a divorce is not easy whether both parties are willing or can’t be located! She made the process easy. It didnt take very long and we are so grateful!

Here’s my experience without getting to personal… I have been going to Maggie Strickland at Low Cost Parallel for a few yrs. I would gave her call next I’m scheduled with her. She reminds me to bring in everything I need for her to complete my forms. She’s very professional, honest, helpful but what’s more important to me is she’s upfront with me. She told me she is not a lawyer so she’s not going to be in court with me, but with her prices I’m not complaining. I’m not complaining because the stress of the what forms to get or do, how to fill them out correctly. That’s all taken care of quickly and efficiently by her.

It’s unfortunate that Maggie gets 1 star. She earned and deserves ZERO stars. I hired her to modify custody and child support. She copied and pasted my documents from another client and neglected to edit out the other clients information! She submitted my motion stating that I was relocating with my children to Bakersfield, which I was not! I was the Plaintiff yet numerous times, she flip-​flopped and noted my ex as the Plaintiff which made the entire motion nonsense! I had her send the document to me and I ended up editing it myself. I sent it back to her to refile and found out in court that she never refiled the corrected documents. On top of all that, she sent notification to my ex to the wrong address TWICE! Therefore, my ex was not at court. I ended up having to refile the corrected documents and notify my ex on my own. I wasted my money and my time on Maggie. She does not pay attention to detail and never apologizes for her sloppiness. Maggie Strickland is the worst! Do not put your trust or waste any money on her services.

So let me start off by saying it takes a lot to get me to write a bad review, in fact this is my first one ever.
I’m upset, I feel taken advantage of, and if this helps one less person feel like this, then it’s worth it.
Divorce isn’t easy. It isn’t easy on any level for anyone involved, and for someone whom you’ve put your trust in, to make the process a little less painful, to absolutely make a mockery of the situation is upsurd.
It all started over 7 months ago, I came to Maggie with documents that I had received from another legal entity. She let me know that they needed to be customized, so she broke out her infamous «White Out Pen», and went to town.
Keep in mind that this White Out Pen will make 3 more appearances.
The NON CONTESTED paperwork gets turned in, only to be kicked back a week later, to me, via snail mail, letting me know that some months have a 5^th weekend (DUH) and custody for our daughter needs to be determined. How does someone who does «10 of these damn things» a week forget that?
So that gets amended.
It gets kicked back again, because it was sent off un-​notarized, this time to her office, so there’s another trip across town to pick it up, and have my (future) X have it notarized, and then back down town to return it to her.
It gets kicked back again… An entire PAGE is missing!!! I take her my copy, and I have the page, and she doesn’t.
The «White Out Pen» comes out again, to erase the word «COPY» and it gets sent back in, and another trip down town, and another 3 weeks pushed back.
At this time she PROMISES me that this is the last time, this thing is air tight, and will be accepted by the court.
NOPE.
I email her 3 weeks after I took the docs back to her the last time asking for a status update, remember, this is uncontested, no one is asking for anything, we just want it to be over and get on with our lives.
She tells me that it’s been accepted, and it’s «PENDING».
Another week and a half goes by, and I email her… No response.
I decide to call the court.
The super nice lady who answered the phone let me know that it was rejected, due to «The Decree being TORN». She let me know that she had never seen that in the notes before in her 15 years working for the court, and couldn’t elaborate. She said that it was mailed back to me and there would be a letter explaining the reasoning.
I call Maggie to let her know the status: «HONEY, YOU CAME TO ME WITH INCORRECT DOCS TO BEGIN WITH»
Ummmmm…no I didn’t. She told me that with the magic of her «White Out Pen» she would be able to customize them and everything would be fine. And if that was the case, why wouldn’t she have said that 7 months ago, or during one of the 5 times I sat in her bizarre office???
I asked her if she had ever read her Unilocal comments, and that I did, and I thought that people were being a bit harsh and I wanted to hire her anyway. She ended up telling me to F off, and I fired her.
I get the envelope yesterday.
I can’t even be upset at the court. There are holes all though the LEGAL DOCUMENTS, words are missing, my entire NAME has been ripped out. It’s like she ATE it (see PHOTO).
So, it’s back to square one, $ 600 and 7 months later.
DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE THAT I DID, DO NOT HIRE MAGGIE STRICKLAND!!!

Had to find a Paralegal service to help us with filing and preparing necessary paper work for court… Since we are from California, Maggie Strickland was referred to us by a friend… The drive is 3 ½ hours for us, but it was well worth it… She is very professional and knows her work, we felt so relieved when we left knowing that the papers were done and sent to court and the person who had made the motion got her copy… This is the second time we have had her service and we would not go anywhere else… Keep up the Great service, to bad your not here in California… we could sure use someone like you with your wisdom and expertise… Thank You for helping us!!!

i hired maggie strickland for a very simple quit claim deed and it has been a nightmare! she is extremely rude, immature, and difficult to work with! do not waste your time or money!!! oh, and she refuses to refund my money! says, «it’s the law»!!! terrible company!

This business has amazing communication, organization, & a very positive Whatever it is you may need that may not require an actual Lawyer, this is the place to go. Give them a call and see if they can help you with whatever you may be dealing with. I had a great experience here!

I did not want to give 1 star. that is how horrible my experience with Maggie Strickland was. I hired her to do a adoption very serious type of legal work. at least to me. My paper work never made it to the court house on the day of adoption. I had gone to Maggie’s office on 5 different occasions to sign paperwork every single time I went it was wrong. Finally I had reached out to the court reporter who called Maggie herself and ordered her to do the paperwork correctly and resubmit. the court reporter that helped me Told me I should report this and gave me the information to do it as well. legal work of any kind is very important do not Trust Maggie Strickland.

I have done business with Low Cost Paralegal for close to 5 years now. Maggie has helped me on a number of issues. I got tired of paying lawyers $ 250 an hour to write me letters, send unwarranted emails and drag out cases where simple action could resolve them. I got tired of paying .3 hrs to review email, .3 to draft letter, .4 to review correspondence, etc etc.
I pay for results with Low Cost Paralegal and I have always been very happy with Maggie’s services. I have saved thousands of dollars !

I have no choice but to put one star. If there was negative stars definitely she would have had a lot of those. She is extremely unprofessional, does she even know what she’s doing? Let me give you some insight of why I’m upset. I did some paperwork with her she told me that I was going to take about 30 days mofor me to hear anything back. Yeah… 3 months later still haven’t heard anything… (I thought everything was going to be so good that I sent her other people to do business with her as well). After this 3 months I would literally contact her every other day to see what was going on her excuse was she was always with the client and she will give me a call right back never did I get a call back so I had no other choice but to call her back. At one point she said you can keep calling as many times as you want I’m with a client. When I spoke to another lawyer to see if it really took that long for my judgments to go through they said no so when I spoke to her she said «I don’t want to do business with you anymore come get your money back» come get your money back? Why were there be money there didn’t use that money to file the paperwork. She then hung up and she sent me an email that she had my stuff ready for me to pick up and my refund. Showing that she never did any type of work for 3 months. I will never go through her ever again or even refer anybody to her if anything I will caution people to stay away from her. I wish I would have read these reviews and did a little bit more background before I actually went with her cuz what other people were before me its exactly same stuff that I’m writing right now I should have taken some time to review her before I used her what a waste of time.

Maggie was very helpful and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend her to all my friends and my Unilocal…

Most of all her filings are wrong she says she works with an atty but wont say who so that means not she does not belong to the LV paralegals assn. She charged my credit card for someone elses case took me months to get the refund I plan on filing a complaint with the court trustee as I will be in LV in March She needs to have her licsense
