got ripped off from the airport to the new york new york hotel, the taxi driver charged me $ 27 total…
I forgot what number was the taxi, if I do, I am sure to file a complaint…

Hey, just wanted to let you know how happy I am to have reached Steve (one of your Managers) a few days ago. I was having a hell of a time getting a cab and somehow got in touch with Steve through your dispatch. He listen to my story and got a cab to my location ASAP. In fact, he also set up a return pickup for us which really saved us time and money. I am not sure why all these reviews are so negative, my opinion is that Steve and Lucky Cab rock! Look em’ up next time your in Vegas!

I lost my phone in one of the cab I hired. I dropped it accidentally in the cab. I called them and gave the name of the tax driver. They told me no such taxi driver works for them. But next day I called again and they told me that one of their driver has given to them a lost phone in the Cab. I proved that phone belongs to me and they gave it back to me. Excellent and honest. Very good experience.

do not take this cab company they will drive you all around town to get more money. it happened to me and they hung up the phone in my face when i told them it wasn’t right.

Over charged for the trip from the airport. We got in a Lucky Cab at the airport and our friends got in another brand right behind us. We both arrived at the Encore at the exact time. We paid $ 36.46 before tip and they paid $ 23.50 before tip. What the heck is that about. Our Taxi took the same amount of time but a different route and boy did that work in his favor. We will certainly ask upfront next time. Just an FYI — on the return trip to the airport it was Mid-​morning on a Sunday with no traffice and it cost us only $ 12. I have my receipt with all the info on it and will be complaining to the office — doubt they will care though.

Lucky Cab is also unlucky if you are a pedestrian. Tonight cab 2592 just about ran me over as I crossed, with the light in a crosswalk, at 8:30 pm as he was turning right to head west on Hidden Well. I mean REALLY almost hit me. Driver stopped less than two feet away. This is why I never hire cabs in Vegas. They consistently refuse to be safe and have no problem endangering other lives.

The worst of the worst! Prepare to be profiled and scammed. If you successfully managed to avoid being ripped off during your Vegas vacation, don’t forget to keep your suspicions at bay when entering any Lucky Cab. I don’t know about you, but I certainly got «lucky» with my Lucky Cab.
Before I get started, I will preface this by saying that this was NOT my first rodeo in Sin City. I’ve been fortunate enough to have been able to visit Las Vegas well over 20 times in my lifetime which is one and a few more than most. While I do not know the exact names of the roads to get to the airport, I can surely visualize the most direct route.
Like any other person in town who had an 8 AM flight to catch at McCarran Airport, I opted to use the next Lucky cab in line at the taxi stand outside of the Cosmopolitan hotel. I actually thought about using Über, but ultimately decided not to purely based on the convenience of the taxi. Boy, was that a mistake! Our driver ending up taking us to the airport via the highway which was absolutely ridiculous considering the fact that it was 6 AM in the morning and there was no traffic on any of the roads.
I had a feeling we were being taken for a ride as soon as I noticed that we were approaching the highway. During all of my trips to Vegas, I have never taken teh highway before. Being that I was with my sister, and the fact that we were two young women, I didn’t feel comfortable saying anything. As soon as we arrived at the terminal, I saw that the fare came out to be $ 25 something. That was an immediate red flag considering most of my other rides in the past came out to be $ 15. I mean c’mon, of all cities, Las Vegas is THE place to have such transportation to and from the airport. The Strip is literally two miles away!
Anyway, not wanting to start a commotion (in fear for our lives) and because I was admittedly doubting my knowledge of the city, I decided to tip him 20% anyway and asked for a copy of my receipt. With the fees and tip included, my total came out to be $ 35 something. THIRTY-​FIVE DOLLARS FOR A CAB FROM THE COSMOPOLITAN HOTEL!!!
I checked Google maps and it clearly shows that the distance between the airport and the Cosmo is approximately 2.8 to 3 miles. My receipt clearly shows that our ride was 7.89 miles! Talk about a huge rip off. Now the reason why I’ve felt compelled to write this review is due to the fact that I’ve received such rude customer service from the Lucky Cab Company itself. When I tried calling in to report the cab driver, the woman answering directed me to the appropriate person’s voicemail. Fair enough, I can leave a voicemail and wait for a response. What irked me the most was her immense attitude she gave me when I asked if there was anyone else who could handle my request since the previous had been out sick. She showed absolutely no sympathy for me or my situation and acted as if it was no big deal.
I understand that customer service may not be a top priority for companies like the Lucky Cab, but come on… You’re in Vegas! In order to retain customers as opposed to losing them to services such as Lyft or Über, you need to maintain some sort of professionalism. Employees are direct representations of your company! These kinds of instances are the exact reasons taxi cabs are not as prevalent in today’s society. People don’t want to feel as if they’re going to be conned by a sleazy taxi driver who hasn’t been properly vetted out by their respective company. They have nothing but shady and greedy drivers who will stop at nothing to extort the innocent and naïve.
For those visiting Vegas, do yourself a favor and avoid using the Lucky Cab company at all costs. If a person like me can be ripped off, then you certainly can too. You’ve been warned.

Shady company that I will in future avoid at all costs. Lucky Cab drivers seem to think they’re on a grift to scam as much money as possible out of customers. A journey from McCarran airport to the Luxor hotel (one of the nearest on the strip) ended up costing $ 30 because the driver tried going the long way round, and could have costed even more had we not interrupted and guided him onto the right road.

Cab ride from Treasure Island to the Rio, and after we’ve already arrived (and after having to repeatedly tell him where we were going), the driver wouldn’t let us pay with a credit card — he claimed the machine was broken. It looked OK to me and the receipt function worked. If you want to play games and only take cash, fine, but tell folks up front. Clean cab, rude driver (#2522 Richard Jeong).

Between American Express and this cab my husband got his cell phone back 25 minutes after we realized it was gone. Thank you so much Lucky cab and our driver and American Express we had a great ride with some social aspect your destination and the man came back with our phone. Props

On August first 2015, we got a cab from this company from the airport. When I gave him the address, he took us to the wrong address. He went to Las Vegas, instead of Henderson. Then he finally mapped it and we eventually got to the correct address. He charged us full price, I called Steve the manager, and he never called back with a resolution. I just filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The cab number is 2935. Will never use this cab company again.

This can driver took a freeway to go from Wynn to MGM Grand. Cost 5 dollars more than Earlier ride to Wynn. Driver even kept the $ 5 change and said it’s tip he deserves. Wow! Didn’t want to argue, I should have.

The cab driver took me the long way to my hotel «The Linq» which I was told is now illegal. I ended up paying $ 35!!! Something told me to take the cab number. I’m surely doing more research when I get home and disputing this charge. Very unprofessional Lucky cab.

My 3 stars is for the courteous driver who hurried us to the airport. The dispatch is rude curt and not friendly.

Cab driver#2955 was the worst most disrespectful pos I have ever encountered & I’m a local. This guy ignored me & talked on the phone the whole entire time I was in the cab. I didn’t really care to talk to him in the 1^st place, but since it’s ILLEGAL, I suggest shutting up & doing your job. To top it off when I get out of the car to pay him, he decides to cuss me out!!. I don’t know if his customer service skills are so keen, that he’s used to people telling him to go f@ck himself & bail without paying, but I wasn’t that one. It’s because of drivers like him I can not wait for über to come into town. Soon thankfully lump drivers like that won’t have a job or a pot to piss in. He’ll have to get a new job skill besides driving like sh! t & acting like an ass.

Usually I have few issues with Lucky but after today’s experience, I would be hesitant to recommend them again. I work front desk and upon calling a cab for a guest, I was told they were busy but the wait would be about 25 – 30 minutes but to call if they had not shown up within 15 minutes. About 30 minutes later I called and was told they never sent the cab because they were busy. Seriously??? They were going to give me numbers for another cab company but I already them and wasn’t about to deal with their dispatch any longer.

I was driving along Koval this evening and one of this company’s drivers was so reckless and speeding so fast he almost caused a 3 car accident. I called the office to complain and was completely dismissed by the dispatcher. The can number was 2505 and I have made a formal complaint to the police. I’m sick of the cab companies and drivers in this city, thinking they are above the law and can drive however they want.
Would never use this cab company, purely down to the way that I have seen their drivers actually drive!

HORRIBLE SERVICE! This Taxi company does not even deserve 1 star.
Right from the start, the woman cab driver in cab #2636 got out of the cab and started yelling at the man (directing the taxi line at the airport) who had directed us towards her. She was yelling, «Why are they coming in my cab? You know what happened!» My fiancé and I had that wtf? look on our face. We told her, «We can get another cab.» and she replied back «No get in!» If it weren’t’ for our bags being in the trunk already we would have just taken a different cab.
As we’re leaving the airport she starts cutting people off, grunting, shaking her head as if we were giving her a headache, and driving fast and reckless! I don’t know what her problem was or why she was upset, but that does not give her the right to jeopardize other people’s lives and put them in danger. We could have gotten hurt!
Once we reached our destination, she gives us attitude saying «Paying cash or credit?» When my fiancé gives her the cash she asks again with attitude, «You want change?» And at that point he was already fed up with her that he didn’t want to wait for her to give us our change so we just told her to keep it and he told her «You’re really rude!» She just ignored him. Luckily, I wrote down the cab number and phone number and called the company. Unfortunately they are of no help either! They did not understand that we were trying to make a complaint about one of their drivers. Maybe its family owned and they’re just trying to cover each other?
So this is why I’m writing this review so that everyone can know DO NOT get into their cabs unless you like rude and reckless drivers!

Worse driver ever and if you try to report a bad service you will get a even worse altitude from the person on the phone.

NEVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE HAVE I MET A BUSINESS OR MAN SO RUDE!!!
The cab driver did not give us his name but he was an Italian older man that obviously hated his job in cab #2518. We should have gotten out of the cab as soon as we got in.
My friend and I were visiting Las Vegas at MGM for the weekend and were completely sober trying to find a ride. We weren’t sure where to go so we thought we’d look for a taxi driver that could take us somewhere cool.
From the moment we got in, we were cussed at. He ran out of his car as soon as we got in and said, «what the f — , this cab is a piece of $&@!!» And started slamming all of the doors to the cab. We thought he was joking the whole time but found out he was completely serious. After that happened, we told him we were thinking of going to Drai’s club because we heard it was cool and asked him how far it was and if he’d heard anything about it. He immediately told us, «this ride is the cheapest thing you’re going to do and I’m so f — ing tired of everyone trying to screw the taxi drivers and spend so much f — ing money at bars and clubs. You’re gonna spend $ 50 to get in and $ 20 for each drink but don’t want to spend f — ing $ 10 for a taxi ride, f— you guys.»
At this point, we were ready to get out and explained to him that we were sorry he was having a bad night and we were not trying to cheat him, we just wanted to find out where to go since we were not from the area. He realized he was being a jerk and told us we wouldn’t have to pay but kept cussing at us. By this time we told him just to let us out on side of the road and he said «I can’t be unsafe, I am not letting you out until it is safe and I am not going to charge you, KAPISH?!» At this point we were scared and almost thought he was never going to let us out.
He finally got us to our destination (the Cromwell), and our cab ride was $ 10.10 and we gave him $ 10 and he tried to hand it back to us. We quickly got out and didn’t take it back. We got his taxi number and complained.
When we complained, his boss, Larry, told us «well maybe he’s having a bad day.» UM, I have a job and might have bad days too, but I would NEVER take it out on anyone else, especially someone that might give me a tip!
We were the nicest people he would probably have in the cab that night, weren’t drunk, and he treated us horribly. Lucky Cab, you were our worst experience in Las Vegas and I will NEVER give you my money ever again.
