During the month of December, my MacBook Pro couldn’t go to the home screen and began flashing a circle with a slash through it. At first, I took it to the Apple Store to see what the problem was. The people at the Apple Store believed there was something wrong with the hard drive. They told me that I had to backup the files with a Thunderbolt Cable using another MacBook Pro that is connected to a hard drive before they could do anything with it. I have tried this with three different MacBooks throughout December and January, and none of them were successful with the file transfer. Since I thought that my hard drive was corrupt and I wanted to save my files before restoring it, I decided to go to MacCure Consulting to see what the problem is. Chaz gave me more information about what was wrong with the computer, and he came to conclusion that it was the ribbon cable instead of the hard drive that was causing problems. He changed the ribbon cable, and all my files were still intact. Also, my computer was running faster than ever. Thank you, Chaz!

I bought a MacBook Pro off of eBay and come to find out it wasn’t properly wiped. Chazz has been really nice and super helpful in walking me through fixing it and even going so far as to wipe it properly. If I ever have any mac issues again — I’ll be calling these guys for sure!

I am typing this review on my iMac, which wasn’t possible a week ago. After having the hard drive finally crash, I was forced to get the computer fixed. I learned several years ago that the Apple Genius Bar isn’t a bar, and is far from having «geniuses» there, so that wasn’t an option for me. The last local company that repaired my Mac is no longer in Vegas, so I did a quick Unilocal search and found Chaz at MacCure.
All the reviews indicated the service and knowledge from Chaz was top notch. I placed a call into MacCure and spoke to Chaz direct. He was no nonsense and direct with me on the phone, which I appreciate in a world full of being told what I want to hear, and not what I need to hear. He immediately diagnosed the problem and directed me to purchase a new internal hard drive for the iMac. Once purchased he asked me to call him back and gave me the cost breakdown for what he would do to get the computer up and running.
After a quick trip to Fry’s for the new hard drive, I met Chaz at his home where he operates his business. Chaz was super knowledgeable about all things computers and Apple products, which was backed up by the various Apple certificates adorning the wall of his office. He told me everything would be up and running in 24 hours.
A day later, I was picking my iMac up, which was up and running with the latest OS. Chaz also went through the computer and made sure there was no malware from before. Chaz isn’t cheap, which in my opinion is a good thing when you are dealing with data recovery and computer maintenance. Whats the price of all your data being saved and back on your computer worth?
When you need help with your computer system, info technology or other digital devices, Apple or not, give Chaz a call. He’ll be straight with you, and if he cant help you, he will tell you and refer you to the right person. I am definitely taking my stuff to MacCure from here on out.

I inquired online about my early 2011 macbook pro and he called me within 30 min. He came and picked up my laptop from work and fixed it before the end of the day. I never noticed it was gone. He worked on it despite having to travel out of the country that night because he knew I needed my macbook up and running ASAP! He’ll consult with you on the best option for your device and uses. He’ll provide all receipts of equipment that he’ll need to purchase.
It’s as if I have a brand new macbook without having to wait more than a couple hours which is exactly what he said would be the outcome. Awesome guy-​really knows his industry. Give him a try you’ll be pleased you did.

Ama-​freaking-​azing service. Called Chaz about the failed hard drive in my late 2012 iMac. As many mac computers mine crashed after Mavericks update, and when I took my machine to Apple store in Town Square the «geniuses» advised me to spend nearly $ 500 on replacing my 3tb hard drive (it would be $ 100 cheaper if you don’t want to keep the old hard drive. I decided to shop around and found MacCure. Chaz quoted me $ 100 cheaper than Apple would and picked up and dropped of the machine at my house, the whole thing took him about 2 days, only because he needed to order the glue for the screen. Which was fine by me and initially took less time that Apple store would, also consider the convenience of pick up and drop off. All in all, I am very satisfied with the service and my iMac is working like a charm! Definitely will be contacting Chaz on any Apple product repairs.

Chaz was absolutely fantastic! I had a Mac that the hard drive crashed on. Working with another company they told me recovery from my Time Machine would be «Painful» and they could not guarantee they would even be able to access. Chaz had access almost immediately, was super patient with someone who is not super computer savvy and he was so incredibly helpful I can not recommend him enough. If there were more than 5 starts I would give them.

My girlfriend was in Vegas on business and her computer failed. She was in a panic and rushed to the nearest computer repair place she could think of; Best Buy. When they couldn’t figure out her computers problem, she called me and I quickly made a Unilocal search for mac repair shops.
This shop had limited reviews but it was a good one, so I called. Spoke to the owner Chas and I quickly retold him the problem. He right away had an idea about how to fix it and suggested I troubleshoot that before I had my GF call him onsite to help.
He was more than willing to come and help but didn’t want to waste her money with what he thought would be a quick fix. I then called her and told her what to do. It worked. The GF then called him directly just to get some more answers about some fuzzy issues she still had and he again took the time to speak with her and offer more help into her situation.
I don’t know too many businesses that give out advice like that and possibly cannibalize their own revenue, but I can honestly say it was enough to get me on Unilocal and write him a great review.
It’s people and businesses like these that set out to do right by their customer and I for one genuinely appreciated his help. I can only imagine the type of work Chas can do when you really need a hands on look.

I was in Vegas last week for work when my hard drive failed in a 2 year old black Macbook. Found these guys online and gave ‘em a call. Gave me a quote on a new hard drive + data transfer. Had it back in just over 24 hours, which was a total surprise considering the Apple store wanted 3 – 5 business days. Everything came back to me just as it was before the crash, only my desktop picture was different. But who cares about that. Highly recommend this company. No frills or up selling. Couldn’t be happier.

I am an mac lover and encourage everyone to get one. However, it is still a computer and it can get complicated.
I’ve been to about every consultant in the Apple store and if I put all their knowledge together into one person it would be Chaz M.
He’s been our mac consultant several times and he knows the inner workings of the mac and p.c. capabilities.
He also took the steps to help me understand why and where to go so I could get through some problems myself.

Being a new resident to Las Vegas, and a long-​term Macintosh user, I know I would need to set out to find a Macintosh consulting company to provide me with all of my needs, whenever I needed it.
