MAD Mobile Auto Detailing

I should start by mentioning I have some experience detailing cars in a past life and I have been professionally trained. That experience has given me a critical eye for good quality work and I guess in some sense, understanding the limitations of what detailing can do gives me an idea of where to set reasonable expectations.
Mario and Amanda freaking knocked it out of the park. I brought them a 12-​year-​old MINI Cooper S I just purchased. It was in better than average condition, but had 12 years-​worth of little nicks and scratches in the paint. Mario and I went over the car together and I showed him the problem areas. He took care of every single one of them and a whole bunch more I never even mentioned. All I asked was for him to polish the paint… I’m still equipped to do the rest. But he went above and beyond and did a lot more than promised. The car looks new. I’ll let the pic speak for itself.

Mario and his team did an amazing job on my 2013 Audi S6. I purchased this beauty slightly used, but the dealer and previous owner left swirls all over the black paint that made it feel more used than what the odometer showed. I wanted the paint to shine like new so I searched all over for a detailer. After being referred by Eco-​tint and finding out that MAD mobile was an authorized OptiCoat retailer I decided to give Mario a shot. He worked great with EcoTint to make my transaction as smooth as possible. I was getting Xpel Ultimate and tint from EcoTint and paint correction and OptiCoat from MAD Mobile.
Mario looked over my paint and quoted me for a full detail/​2 step paint correction/​opticoat pro plus on paint and wheels. The price was quite high, but I was expecting it since proper paint correction involves many hours of labor. If the end result is what I expected then it’ll be worth it.
Mario worked with my busy schedule and actually offered to pick up my vehicle to start the process. Originally the process was to take 3 days. But after finding out the paint was in worse shape than originally planned, he kept it for a few more days. He kept in constant contact with me about the status of the detail.
Finally, the car was done and Mario delivered my car at my home shining in all its glory like it still has wet paint. I am extremely happy with the end result and already had a few random complements on the finish of my paint! I found out that Mario ended up doing a 4 step correction since the swirls were deeper than he thought. He didn’t charge me any more for the extra work they did. But I was happy to include a healthy tip for their efforts!
After about a week, I decided to do a quick touchless wash to get rid of the dust and to test the opticoat coating. As I sprayed the vehicle with my foam sprayer and rinsed it off, the water just beaded beautifully and effortlessly. I am impressed!

Used MAD for opti-​coat on my 2016 Golf R back in Jan/​16. He does great work, the car came out much better than I expected. Well worth it. Thanks Mario.

Mario killed it on our Range Rover sport. Literally the best detailing I’ve ever seen. Took their time and worked from 430 – 7:15. Very friendly, and reasonably priced.
Don’t waste your time going anywhere else, their the bomb.

Mario & Amanda did an amazing job on my new black 2014 Corvette. Opticoat Pro Plus on paint, windows, wheels, and calipers and it looks great.
I will be having Mario wash the Vette every 2 – 3 weeks to keep it looking good and they are very good at working around my touch travel schedule.

I met Mario and Amanda after it had been pointed out to me that my 6 month old Tesla had major paint problems from the people I thought were «experts» hand washing my car. So many swirls and other problems.
They came to where my car was during the day and looked it over, they gave me a price to correct the paint and put on Opticoat. We scheduled a time when I would be out of town a week later. During the process of correcting the paint, they determine that it was much worse than expected. It took him at least 4 hours more than he had quoted for, to get the paint right. Even so, Mario stuck with his original price quote. This is the kind of professionalism you can expect from both Mario and Amanda. I also want to say that I’m not a car guy, I wouldn’t know if they had just done what they originally quoted and didn’t make it right, but only did what they were paid for. But as with all great artists, they would know, and thats the point. When you find someone that does a job with the attention to detail that they would use on their own cars, you keep them.
Since then, I haven’t let anyone else detail my Tesla. We have a regular schedule set where they come every 2 weeks to detail both my Tesla and my wife’s Mercedes. Just last Friday, we took delivery of a new Tesla Model S 70, for my wife. To show you how much I trust Mario and Amanda, they met us at Tesla when we picked it, after all the pictures and documents being signed, we handed the keys to Mario and he was the first person to drive our new Tesla, straight to his garage to check and correct any issues with the paint (he said it was the best paint job he had seen on any Tesla so far) and install the new Opticoat. As promised they brought the car back to our house on Sunday night.
How many other detailers would you trust to drive your new car even before you do?

Had the team do an extensive paint correction job for me on a black q40 (previous poor detail). I like promoting local businesses, and this is definitely a great duo – personable, and they truly care about their craft. You can tell by their equipment and materials used. They spent over 3 hours getting the paint right, and the results were fantastic! Don’t hesitate to use them. I wish I took more photos but I included one. And it hasn’t rained so it still looks sharp a week later!

My dear husband surprised me with auto detailing for my Hyundai Accent and booked it today. First of all, this team goes straight to hard work the second they arrive with their specially equipped trailer. My poor little new car was blessed with a lovely chicken stew on the back seat a while back. Someone carried a baby shower’s worth of stew and was hungry so he took the turns in a frenetic way. It was his Mom’s car (me) but if I spilled in his Mustang? I would be toast.
It is hard to tell it ever happened now!
My car is amazing! I highly recommend this couple– helpful, superior customer service and beaucoup diligence for the restoration of the car.

Was referred by a friend of mine that works at a dealership who has worked with Mario for years! They did such a great job to get hard water spots off my car! And very reasonable pricing! This is a great service. They answered the phone on second ring both times I called and fit me in to their schedule later same day. Arrived a few minutes early, did their thing and finished a wash in about 30 – 45 minutes. The car is new and hoping to keep it looking good so did a little research on best practices. I had no idea how complicated the options were for such a simple request: keep our new car looking good. Do yourself a favor and just call them, the car truly looks better than when we took it home.

I’ve used these guys twice and they’re the best. The first time they did my car, it was a total mess and they mad it like new… I was so happy — and the second time they did my car — it was merely maintenance, but again, it was so well done, so clean and shiny. Best part? they’re total experts in this — telling me how I should maintain my shine… love them.

This review is long overdue. Mario and Amanda did incredible job on my Silverado and my Chevy Trailblazer. I can’t say enough about their work ethic and the quality of the job they do on my cars and people I referred. Hands-​down the best detailers in the valley. They might not be the cheapest in town, but you always get what you pay for! Thank you guys for a job well done! I will recommend anybody I can. Thanks again!

I looked up mobile auto detailing and after looking through the many great reviews for MAD, I decided the go with them.
The car we had them clean had so many stains and dirt in the carpets that it seemed like it would be impossible to take them out. The couple came promptly at the appointment time and after two hours, our car was nearly spotless– some of the stains just wouldn’t come out! It was obvious that a lot of care was taken into cleaning the entire interior of the car and I was happy to pay the price that I did for such great work. They were also really nice and friendly about the entire thing. I’ll be calling them again soon to clean another one of my cars!

Amanda and Mario will make your car look better than new. The work is outstanding and you can honestly tell that they take serious pride in what they do. Plus, I really appreciated the way they catered to my scheduling needs and brought my car to me when I didn’t have a ride. Super nice couple — awesome work. You really get what you pay for with them.

MAD Auto detail did an amazing job on the OPTI Coat on my new Tesla. The service was amazing to scheduling me on short notice to picking up and returning the car to me. Really worked within my schedule. The results was flawless once I got the car back. I will be using them for all of my auto detailing needs.

Highly recommend this team. Having OCD & being in the business of auto detail means you can count having a near perfect car! I used them to completely detail an older SUV & it nearly looked new. I searched for anything that might have been missed & couldn’t find a thing. 5 stars for this team & put them on my speed dial for next time.

For months I agonized over where to take my new car for paint correction and Opti-​Coat. I was very worried that I would pay an enormous amount of money and not be able to really see the difference. Boy was I wrong! For an almost brand new car I was amazed at how it seemed to glow after MAD was done with it.
They didn’t skimp on the time they spent making sure it was done right and it was definitely worth it. My only regret is that I didn’t get it over there sooner. Now I plan on having them do the regular maintenance to keep it looking better than showroom clean. Their attention to customer satisfaction is something you rarely see today. I highly recommend them!

It’s interesting to read some of the old poor reviews – it’s almost like they are reviewing a different Mad Detailing (especially the guy from Michigan).
I have found that they have provided the best car wash/​detailing I have ever had. The attention to detail is fantastic. This is not one of those mobile «detailing» and wash services you see around the valley where it’s just a guy and a bucket coming out to wash. MAD knows what they are doing and do it properly. I’ve used others in LV and would not go back.
They recently did a full paint correction and OptiCoat Pro on my car and it just looks amazing — better than it did when I first picked it up. Thanks!

So I call up Mario on Thursday hoping to get my truck detailed while in Vegas for a week, but it happens to be the weekend before a huge expo, Conexpo, which I’m going to. Like the other places I called he tells me he’s booked and doesn’t have any openings for a week. We hang up and 2 minutes later he calls me back and asks what I need. I tell him my work truck needs detailed, first time in a year and has a few grease spots, he says he’ll try and we play phone tag a few times and finally get it done on Wednesday while I walk around the expo. I gave him the code to my truck and showed up 4 hours after they started. Him and his wife did a great job all away around, got all the grease out of the seats, washed and waxed everything and detailed the motor. They did a great job with great attention to detail. Next time I’m in town I will use them again

I work M-​F 6am-​6pm so getting my bike detailed during the week is not really an option. They scheduled my appointment for the next Saturday at a time that worked well with my schedule (2pm).
They spent about 2hrs on my bike and it looks better than when I bought it 2 years ago. Admittedly, it was used then but the guy who sold it to me had kept it pretty clean.
They buffed out all of the minor scratches on the painted surfaces (Fuel Tank, Front and Rear Fenders). The chrome looks great and there isn’t a spot on any of the black surfaces.
The best part was the crowd they drew as they were working on my Sportster. Seriously, my neighbors broke out their lawn chairs and watched them turn my dirty bike into a masterpiece!

I actually took the advice of a friend and used them. I either need to pick better friends (probably not) or read reviews before making decisions like paying over $ 200 for auto detailing (most definitely).
First let me note that after detailing my car they took off with my keys. I thought for sure I’d gotten them back and then left them somewhere. Even though that’s not my style, it can happen.
After looking everywhere for over an hour. Through my whole car, through my garage where I’d put stuff from my car, in my house, in the driveway, everywhere, I finally concluded that they’d actually taken off with my keys. WTF? I left a message for them after hours and was told they’d gotten the message at 8:30 a.m. Why then did I have to call (had to do this several times) THEM at 10:30 asking for them to bring me my keys? No clue. They finally brought them to me after finishing up the detail of another car. I confronted them about the keys and about the crappy job they did (more on that later) and they said ‘Oh, sorry about your keys’ and that they’d redo my car in a couple of weeks when they came back (I intended to keep them washing my car every two weeks — uh, never). That was it. This was after a tip, also. OF COURSE.
Anyway…
I was a little apprehensive about paying this much for detailing because the example my friend used was his own one year old car. My car I’ve had for 5 years and have moved cross-​country in it a couple of times, etc. It’s not a pristine, new car. Also, a young adult, my son, was driving it. You guess what my car possibly looked like. Not dirty, per se, but dirt in the leather, carpets, etc.
I have a dark blue car with light tan interior. I had never, ever had this car detailed. I made clear to them when I called them that my car was older and had never had a thorough cleaning (hence my call to them). I was willing to pay $ 200 for this. They told me it would take 2 – 2.5 hours (or possibly more), but you could tell they weren’t spending anymore time than 2 hours on this before they had to get going to the next victim, I suppose.
I looked the car over when it was done and began pulling napkins and other small trash that had fallen out from under the seat. I also had to have them come back and re-​clean some areas that had totally not been touched. When they were gone I looked and the ashtray was still dirty (not from smoking, I don’t smoke), the area under the emergency brake was filthy, the console area had only been opened to put my lost iPod in then left filthy. I was wiping dirt off of areas that were clear to me in the dark, why did they not see these in broad daylight? They do NOT pay attention to detail, even thought their job is detailing.
Then, when the keys were returned, the woman actually had the audacity to say ‘well, when we get cars in that condition…’ Wait. My car is actually in great condition, but five years of wear and tear leaves marks. It should be easily handled by a $ 200 detailing.
I think the sign of someone great at detailing cars is actually detailing them perfectly. Not missing huge chunks of the car because you’re on tight schedule. But hey, that’s me.
