Maid With Confidence

If I could give zero stars I would!
Maid with Confidence put out a Living Social deal and when you call to book an appointment (per their instructions), no one answers the phone ever!!! I made sure to call during the specific hours they have in their recording to call and I called at least 8 or 9 times over a period of a few weeks… and never got a live person. On top of that you can’t leave a message. I even messaged them on their facebook page and no one ever responded… no excuse for that kind of customer service.
I finally called Living Social and told them what was happening and they said I wasn’t the only one had this issue. Thankfully they refunded my Living Social even though it was outside the cancellation period.

I’m reading all these other reviews, and I’m a bit flabbergasted because I am a regular of Maid with Confidence. I’ve been a regular since October 2015, and I have never had an issue. When scheduling conflicts take place, they advise me right away. I understand that some things may fall through the cracks especially with a growing business, but I can assure you that Maid With Confidence works with utmost dignity and respect for their clients.
Let me give you some feedback on what I KNOW FOR CERTAIN about this company. It is NOT a big business. It is run by a highly competent individual and a small team who is working through getting a lot of the «new business» bugs ironed out. I mean dang, there are big businesses who have been in their respective industries for years who make mistakes too!
But for MY own experience, the owner personally comes to my home to do my services and she is:
1. Prompt
2. Communicative
3. Thorough
4. Detailed
5. Understanding (when I leave the home messier than normal)
She cleans my home, and I also book weekly laundry services. Never has anything come back damaged, and there is nothing better than coming home to a clean home. This is our experience week after week after week. To be frank– I don’t know what my husband and I would do without her. There was a two week period where we had to forego services due to an emergency on the owner’s end, but she was professional and kind enough to explain what was going on.
Living Social and Groupon are always detrimental to small businesses, and as much as I can see others’ frustrations, I know for sure that Maid with Confidence would never willingly destroy their own business.
To those who have questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly. I do not work for Maid with Confidence nor am I their spokesperson, but I was completely caught off guard when I found the time to finally leave a review and stumbled upon the reviews before me. Valid concerns, yes. But are they truly reflective of EVERYONE’S experience with Maid with Confidence? No, not at all, and I can assure you.
If you read my other reviews on Unilocal and TripAdvisor, I am picky, and I do not condone nor support businesses who don’t deserve it. Maid with Confidence has always been so reliable for me, and I hope that their regulars also voice their opinions.

No call no show! Supposed to be here 1 ½ hrs ago and I called and the VM box is full and when I looked on Unilocal I saw all the reviews about it being a scam. Thankfully we never purchased the Groupon, and when we first emailed with them they said not to purchase the Groupon and instead to pay them the day of the services. But of course they never showed! Stay away from this

I would give them a 0 if I could. Bought a Groupon tried calling them for 2 weeks during the time indicated, never got a answer (called every day) and voice-​mail was always full. Even went online to their website and I made the appointment for a week out and they never even showed up. Worse company ever to deal with.

Purchased on living social. The voicemail has been full for over 2 weeks. I tried to contact them via their website and they did not return my call then either they redeemed the voucher without ever performing service

This“business” no called and no showed. Tried calling to confirm 6 times and phone was off and voicemail full. Just like the others who reviewed dont expect to have them show up. Ridiculous. Living social needs to make this good… Refund in credit is unacceptable as well. Dont waste your time you’ll be cleaning your own house.

Do not buy this Groupon!!! I purchased this and made an appointment a week in advance then got a no call no show. Cannot get ahold of anyone since I have reported this company to Groupon and hope to get my money back. Super dissapointing since I’ve never had an issue with any business Groupon offers coupons for. Feels like a complete scam. Wow wish I read the 3 Unilocal reviews before hand live and learn :(

I also bought a Living Social voucher for cleaning services. I couldn’t get to anyone on the phone to ask questions or schedule an appointment. Then I tried their online form to schedule. I filled it out and scheduled a time. On the morning of the day they were supposed to come according to the website — still no person to answer. My appointment time came and went. Nobody showed up. Seems kind of sketchy to me.

Purchased a Living Social coupon for 4 hours for $ 55.00 and couldn’t get a hold of the merchant to schedule an appointment. I tried calling (voicemail full), I tried emailing (no response) I tried texting (no response) and then I called AGAIN, was able to leave a message… and no one returned my call. Very disappointed, asked for a refund and will look for another house cleaner.
