Mark Edington, DDS

My girlfriend went here for a consultation. She is not a regular customer/​patient. She had me listed as an emergency contact. In the past few months they keep calling BOTH of us for seemingly no reason. She has dental insurance and doesn’t owe any bills, she doesn’t have any more scheduled appointments, and yet they call each of us on average once or twice a month.
I’m the emergency contact, why in the hell are they calling me? I did pick up once and they were looking for her. I told them I am the emergency contact and my girlfriend can’t be reached at my number. I figured that would be the end of it but nope, they just keep calling.

I’ve lived in Las Vegas for over nine years and, in that time, I’ve been to see four different dentists. I’ve been to see Dr. Edington twice in the past 18 months for two cleanings and the placement of some dental epoxy over some exposed tooth roots. I’ve always been treated well and received good care here. I’d say, hands down, this is the best dentist that I’ve been to out of the four. My only complaint is that other dentists I’ve been to have cleaned my teeth with the updated sonic scaling technology instead of the old school metal pick.

I’ve gone to a few different dentists in Las Vegas and all of them overcharged me and/​or tried to get me to do services I wasn’t sure I needed. Finally, through my husband’s insurance, we found Modern Dental Care. I love it there. First of all, Mark is totally handsome and super friendly. He’ll flirt with you if you let him. Second, like the other reviewer said, the staff is professional and courteous. I also had Libby as my dental hygienist and she is super friendly. She must make notes about you in her files because she always remembered things about me that would be hard to remember about someone you only see every 6 months. I always felt they were very honest too. I went there for a couple years and I only needed a couple procedures done (but with other dentists I have needed a LOT done, bad genetics and dishonest dentists don’t mix I guess) and each time, they would show me the x-​rays and help me understand why it was necessary. Now I live in California and I miss my HOT dentist (as I tell my friends) and my super-​friendly hygienist.

I have been going to Dr. Edington’s office for the past year and a half. The experience has been great. The staff members are professional and courteous. My dental hygienist, Libby, is wonderful and does a great job with the cleaning. It is very thorough. I will definitely return one more time before I move out of Vegas for a last check up. They do not overcharge like a lot of dentists in Vegas I have heard about, especially recommending deep cleaning to people who don’t need it for extra cash. Definitely way better than Dentalville that I have reviewed about.
