As a professional tutor, I provide tutoring, homework help, and test preparation. Because my services are dedicated exclusively to mathematics, this ensures that you will receive the most effective tutoring available for this field of study. The students that I work with range from seventh grade through college, and adult learners. Subjects include arithmetic, basic math, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus, probability, statistics, linear algebra, chemistry, physics, and economics.
Additionally, I help students successfully prepare for standardized tests. Among these include the ASVAB (military), CRT (middle school proficiency), GED (high school equivalency), GMAT (management), GRE (graduate school), HSPE (high school proficiency), Praxis I and II (teaching), and TEAS (nursing). College placement tests include Accuplacer, ACT, AP Calculus, economics), CLEP, PSAT/NMSQT, SAT and SAT Subject Tests (math).
History
Established in 2008.
Prior to starting my full-time tutoring practice, I worked as a high school math teacher for Clark County School District (CCSD). I was recognized by the Nevada Department of Education (NDE) as a Highly Qualified Teacher under the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB). Additionally, I passed the preliminary actuarial exam in probability, and am studying for the exam in financial mathematics.

My mission is to share my passion, talent, and discipline for mathematics, together with my diverse educational and professional background, to help students achieve success in mathematics.
Born and raised in Silicon Valley, California, I played baseball for nine years. I have a master’s degree in exercise science, a bachelor’s degree in nutrition science, and I worked for 10 years as a personal trainer. Since then, I have found my true calling in mathematics.
