This place is so fun!!! The owner Timm is very nice and helpful. He’ll help you pick games and show you how to use them! Definitely going to be back!!!

Been here twice. The first time was just to check it out. The second time I took my oldest son because he loves board games especially monopoly. Timm, the store owner, greeted us with a warm smile and showed us what the Meepleville Board Game Café was all about. I asked Timm what was comparable to monopoly and he said there was a Japanese card game called Machi Koro.
So Timm brings out the game and we start playing for a couple minutes. He explained to us the concept and answered our questions. The kids were hooked after a couple turns. So we decided to purchase it. With the Unilocal check in you get 20 percent off. Nice.
For those that want to stay and play any and all board games, you just pay 5 bucks until they close. They even have annual memberships in which I didnt really ask how much but if you’re a die hard game board nerd I guess it makes sense. On certain days and nights they have tournaments so make sure to check out the posted schedule.
As for the café part, for now they just have snacks and drinks but they are in the process of expanding into the next suite so that they can serve full fledge meals.
Overall, if you have that board game itch, then get your scratch on here for there is no other place like it in Vegas. I like the fact that you can try out any game and have the option of purchasing it if you like it.

Dropped in to check it out and the owner Tim greeted me. Super nice guy in a very very nice shop! Over 1000 demo games, table space, and great selection. And he’s adding in a full café as well!

The board game café concept was entirely new to me, and I HAD to check it out. FYI, right now if you checkin on Unilocal you can get a 20% discount on any game purchase.
My boyfriend came in to look around. In the first room, they have snacks, drinks, and of course games to sell. On the back wall they display some of the games from the library, even a section just for two player games. The next room has a tabletop version of pacman games, a racing game, and another game I couldn’t identify. The back room has an even larger library selection and off to the side is a «private» room. When we went in there were several families playing with their kids, some guys playing a middle earth strategy game, and some people in the private room. They have all sorts of games, from Sweet Valley High, to dungeon crawlers, special editions of monopoly, card games, and all sorts of new nifty games you’ve never heard of.
They also have a section of gently used games available at a discount.
After poking around a bit, my boyfriend and I decided to play a dungeon crawling game and handed over the «admission» fee of $ 5. This allows you to play until store closing. You can also run a tab for snacks and drinks.
The owner Tim showed us how to play our chosen game and would come back to check on us and explain rules as we played. He was also running around to other players showing them rules for their games as well. The man was on the move the entire time.
Eventually, we lost at our little dungeon crawling game, and Tim recommended Machi Koro, a monopoly style game to us. At the same time another small group came in, and Tim asked them if they wanted to play as well. So we sat down with our new friends and played for about an hour, before we discovered the store was empty AND Tim had Cards Against Humanity. So of course we played that until the store closed. Tim also showed my boyfriend the Xwings Star Wars game he’s been interested in, and talked to us about the Meepleville Membership program.
For $ 25 a month, you don’t pay to come in, and you get a 20% on all games in the store. Note, I looked around online a bit, and I can safely say that the prices are pretty competitive for a brick and mortar store. I’ll definitely be talking to Tim the next time I need a game.
Also, members get to come in for members only parties.
Current weekly events include a Xwings meetup on Mondays, and a general board game meetup on Wednesdays, which we will definitely be coming back for.
At only $ 5 a visit, I’d say Meepleville is one of your least expensive options for hours of entertainment!

My wife and I are not gamblers, so it was awesome finding a place in town to have some fun at a very low price! Darrell taught us Splendor which we both enjoyed. It was not in stock or we would have bought it on the spot! Darrell also talked about several other games — he really knows his stuff (both older games and current).
The mall looks really empty, but that left plenty of parking for us. The store was busier than we expected for a Sunday night, but Darrell still found time to help us out.
We are from out of town, so we will need to find a similar concept near home — but it is good to know that we have a fun place to go when we are in town again.

We loved it here. The staff is very helpful and happy to teach you how to play different games and recommend games you might like.
We spent 4 hours before we even realized it. Had a great time. Would definitely recommend for any board game lovers! :)

It was a little weird walking in when most of the staff was chilling with the other patrons in the back room, but once they saw us it was cool and totally understood why they were back there.
Meepleville is both a store and a library/​café/​game hangout. The front is where they have games on display for sale, as well as their larger setup games like X-​Wing or Pac-​Man. There’s some foodstuffs you can buy, and they can keep a tab open if needed. Entry to just play the games is currently $ 5 per person.
The back room is where their more popular games are at. We played Pac-​Man, Bravest Warriors, Patchwork, and The Game. Staff is on hand to explain the games to you if the instruction booklets don’t make sense or you just want to dive right in. They’ll even join you in a game sometimes!
We had a lot of fun and I think this is a great place to bring a few peoples and experience a wide variety of board games.

Meepleville is awesome! Darrell showed us 4 games we’ve never played and taught us how to play them. There are so many games to choose from; if you don’t know where to start, ask the staff for a recommendation.

This place is truely amazing. we love to play games, and with so many games to play the choises are unlimited. Timm and his staff are great at pointing out games to play and taking time to explain them to us. Had a great time. Awesome place to hang out

Timm was really nice and inviting. I really liked every recommendation that he gave us to play. There are hundreds of games so I don’t know how I would have narrowed it down. It was really cool that he taught us and even played a round with us to help understand how to play everything.

Board games aren’t what they used to be, but their current quality and depth means they don’t cost what they used to either. My wife and I love to try new games, but at up to $ 100 a pop, we can’t afford to buy everything that looks pretty! We’ve learned that the hard way, as we have more than one purchase gathering dust in the hall closet. At Meepleville, though, we’ve been able to try whatever we want, as much as we want, in a fun, friendly space for a wonderfully low price. We’ve only been on weekdays, when it’s $ 5 for unlimited play (from their truly awesome selection), plus a couple of bucks for some very reasonably priced snacks. It’s a fantastic deal; cheaper than a movie, and comes with a rare side benefit — social interaction! Plus, if we do like one of the games enough to own it, their retail selection is impressive also, and I can make an actually informed purchase right then and there!

I loved everything about this place. They have hundreds of games, nicely organized that you can play. It’s only a $ 5 charge for access to learn and play all of them. (which almost sounds too good to be true)
Timm was incredibly social and helpful when it came to suggesting a board game. He suggested a new game some of my friends have never played, and set up the game with us and easily taught them how yo play.
They sell soda, water and snacks so you can buy some food and stay all day.
The other best part of the store was the amount of board games they had for sale. Ghe selection is far greater than I’ve seen at any local board game store and they were all reasonably priced.
Highly recommended for your first time playing games and hardcore veterans alike.

This place is a really cool unique hangout in Las Vegas! Open late, it is a great alternative if you’re not really into the bar scene any more but still have a core group of friends that like to hangout, socialize and play fun board games. They have old classic games that you might remember playing or wish you played as a kid and the newest games that are released all to play right at the café, they also sell board games too. The staff is really friendly and seem to be proficient at the games that can be played at the café so it is easy to try new games. There could be around 1,000 games or so but I’m not sure. When you enter they also give you a name tag, so I imagine it would be easy to make friends and play games with other gamers at the café as well. My friends and I had a lot of fun and we will definitely be going back soon! Cheers!

Great place to play games. With so many games, the toughest part is figuring out what to play. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait for my next visit… Think I’ll go tonight.

OMG! FINALLY ! ! ! An amazing place for adults (and kids) to get together and enjoy good old healthy fun! Very nice place! Super clean !! Inviting atmosphere! Great game selection both to purchase and borrow! If your into real amazing board games and great people this is the place to be! The owner Tim is a really nice honest guy and a great host he also has put together a great staff of friendly knowledgeable people to teach you new games and make sure your comfortable and having a great time! This will definitely become a new home away from home for my husband and I. Can’t wait to go back next week!

This place is great! My wife and I decided to stop by because we like seeing the different game stores in town, but this was a new experience! For $ 5, you can play games from their huge library all day. The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly, and approachable.
There is an area for customers to post up announcements, like game trades, meet ups for certain games, or whatever else to connect with other gamers in town. One of the staff even walked my wife and I through X-​Wing miniatures even though we were just taking a quick look around. This place will get a lot more visits from us in the future!

This is a wonderful and very unique place in Las Vegas.
There is a great retail store in the front, with a very nice selection of board games and accessories for sale. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and will explain/​show you how to play any of the games.
In the back, there is a beautiful game library/​playing room, with lots of comfortable chairs and tables. For a very reasonable price, you can spend the afternoon/​evening with family or a group of friends, playing any of the games in the library– there are over a thousand, so you’ll certainly find something to try!

Staff is socialable, and incredibly willing to teach people a game. They will even play a game with you if you would like.
Clean and gorgeous. Every person I saw walk in was surprised and excited to stay.
1500 games in this place. I was shocked to see how many games and tables there are.
Chairs are comfortable so being here for hours at a tome, no problem!
