Mixers Ice Cream & Boba

Visited this place for the first time today. Not only they have delicious ice cream, they also have games and toys for kids to play. This is a very clean place. There is no clutter behind the counter at all. We had mango smoothie with Boba and white chocolate raspberry flavor ice cream. I have to say this was the BEST ice cream I ever tasted among all different brands and there are many more other flavors I want to try. They also offer happy hours 1pm — 3pm that you get 1 scoop of ice cream for $ 1.25, 2 for $ 2.50, large drink for $ 2.50. Definitely will return for more yummy…

This place is delicious! The menu is huge. They have everything from rangoons to churros. Also a big selection of home made ice creams. Nice staff as well :)

As a manager in the hospitality industry, I have given this family owned ice cream store five stars. The ambiance is quiet and comfortable, the ice cream is homemade and delicious, and the service is extremely friendly! After discovering this establishment about six month ago, I have since become a weekly customer.

My husband and I don’t come here as often as we’d like. I always thought owning an ice cream shop would be a great business that would bring a smile to people’s faces. This place does exactly that! They have a wide variety of gelato and ice cream flavors for children of all ages. My favorite so far is the Ferrero Rocher, a nod to one of my favorite candies. I actually don’t have any ingredients mixed into it because it’s pretty wonderful on it’s own. I don’t eat chocolate ice cream anymore, but it’s so yummy here that I’ve made an exception. My husband loves mixing any vanilla based ice creams with their graham cracker mix-​ins. There is more we have to try here — it looks like they have hot food (seasoned fries a la Potato Corner) and other dessert options too, such as cookie/​brownie creations, waffles, etc. Staff is very friendly and will let you try samples until you figure out what you want. For those with smaller appetites, don’t be afraid to ask for a kid’s cup. I think if I had to choose between Handel’s, Perfect Scoop, Cream, Eis Cream, and Mixers… I think I would give it to Mixers. (Or maybe I should just sample all of them one more time to be certain lol)

Great place ever! Employees are nice and friendly, and the price is great! They have 40 flavor ice cream to choose from. Definitely will be back soon.

They need to put English workers in there, the girl was nice but did not understand a thing I was asking. False advertisement I went there for chili cheese fries because the sign clearly has chili cheese fries & chicken & waffles but they only sell regular fries & ice cream

Short and simple. Family owned boba spot with great service. Always friendly and always quick to receive my order. Cool 2 for 1 smoothie special they have going on (ends March 31^st). Really no complaints at all. Wish they sold crepes that would really love this place!

Came in with a desire for some flame boba and fries! Met our expectations, but fell short because we couldn’t order our milk tea slush! They need to take it off the menu if they can’t make it. R8 ⁸⁄₁₀ would come back. :)

A cute little ice cream shop with asian inspired flavored. They offer a handful of gelato flavors, but focus mainly on their homemade ice cream creations. I sampled the lychee ice cream and it was superb! They also have some random board games for patrons to enjoy and our party enjoyed toppling the different jenga pieces. Overall, a fun local spot to hang with friends.

I know the original owners sold the shop maybe couple years ago now, but I am still a loyal customer. I grew up going here. Middle school, especially high school. Not eating during lunch to grab a ghirardelli chocolate flavored ice cream and have some fare for the city bus after school. When I heard about the place being sold, I was devastated. I kept coming until their last days. Then when they reopened, I got my flavors and YASSS! lol. Happy camper!
These are home made ice cream. The original owners also passed on their recipes. They also started experimenting on new flavors. They even added gelato and hot food.
They kept that ice cream shop the way it’s suppose to be. The name and everything. I love how the new owners made it seem like the shop just got a remodel. No sell outs! I will definitely be coming back here as long as this place is open.
Don’t forget that stamp card! You’ll definitely come back.
Also, go and try that ghirardelli chocolate and that cheesecake. My two favorites!

This place was such a cute little find! I love boba, and their boba was bomb! My friends got the ice cream and couldn’t stop eating it was so good. Very cute little place, kinda in a bad area, but definitely a good find!:D
Nice place overall, and they have soooo many ice cream flavors you don’t know which to get! Every flavor you can pretty much think of! And the ladies are nice too, always offering samples :)

We we’re greeted with smiles and friendly staff. The smoothies and boba were very good. We were happy and didn’t expect more. We beat the rush, so they must be good.

Delicious! 40 different flavors of gelato and ice cream to choose from. The owners and staff are very friendly. We tried their strawberry sundae on a waffle cone and it was amazing. The red velvet ice cream is also a new favorite. We recommend this place for your next sweet tooth fix.

This place isn’t as good as it used to be. The ice cream tastes more like cream than anything with a subtle hint of cheesecake even though I got vanilla. The cone was really big. I don’t think the ice cream is worth getting. The workers are awkward and I can tell they’re new. When I walked in, they didn’t welcome me but instead just stared at me. I also got a Thai tea slush but it tasted like cheese. I wasted my money here and I would’ve rather gone to boba hut across the street for boba or gelatology for gelato as a substitute for ice cream.

Really love this little dessert joint! Their ice creams are all homemade to excellent quality. Also they have a loooooot of flavors from homemade ice cream to sorbet to gelato to choose from. My favorite flavors are strawberry cheesecake and coconut.
If you are craving for something other than ice cream, they have amazing chicken wings as well as waffles and bobas! Definitely a great hangout place!

This place is ah-​mazing! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by jolly looking employees who looks like they’re perfectly content working at an adorable looking ice cream shop. When you look for gems in Vegas, you look for places like these and hope that there are more of them out there.
When I want ice cream I don’t ever run to the super market to save myself extra bucks for a decent dessert. I run here for my sweet cravings. I always order a small with an add on because the amount that they give you for a small is huge! For a small, you get two scoops in which you are allowed to mix and match. I always get pistachio with pecan. It’s a perfect combination of sweet and a hint of salty from the nuts. When you have an add on, they mix the ice cream on the clean dry table just like how they do it at Cold Stones.
Of course, before ordering, I always want to try many flavors before making an executive decision (which by the way is almost always pistachio with pecan) just in case I change my mind about my usual. Once, I tried the cake batter with Kit Kat and that too just hit the spot! Is it weird when I say that their ice cream is always perfectly sweetened? There is such a thing as a too sweet ice cream!
Get this part… Their ice cream is made from their very shop! How awesome is that? And upon meeting the owner quite a few times, she seems like the type that made up her business out of passion and makes ice cream out of love. She always had the sweetest smile as well as a high tolerable patience (that part when my friends and I just try a bunch of samples before making a decision!) The gelato, however isn’t made there, but is equally as delicious as the latter.
I think this store sets itself apart since they have flavors that you can’t get from any other generic ice cream shops. They have flavors like taro, black sesame, green tea, thai tea, Ferrero Rocher, and others! I think sometimes they make new flavors and see whether they get popular and keep them on the menu.
I also love the stamp card! That’s the one that keeps me from going over there as well because they reward their frequent consumers! When you get two items, you get two stamps! And you have to fill all ten! Sometimes, I bring over my friends and use my stamp card as they are California visitors, and attendants are not greedy about stamping!
I recommend everyone who want a good dessert to come over here and try this place out! Seriously, you won’t regret it!

This place was recommended by a local and so was bookmarked on my Unilocal forever. Upon walking in, you instantly get that asian-​we-​do-​everything-​here vibe. Kinda hard to miss. Who else does gelato, deep fried fish balls & chicken waffles all in one place? It was a little difficult ordering since the girl helping us had trouble taking out order. I think she was new and still learning since we had to repeat our orders a few times over and then refer to the other worker who then gave her instructions.
Seemed promising only because I love the unique selection of flavors, but fell short on my palette. It’s probably just a personal preference, but Mochi toppings should not be rock hard. It gave me an intense desire to play Dennis the Menace with these little pellets. Good thing it was my bf’s ice cream and not mine. Haha. I had the sweet cream with brownies and graham cracker pie crust mixed in. It tasted just a little stale. Leads me to wonder how long some of these things have been sitting there. The cherry on top was that the cones tasted just like fortune cookies. Yeah… Not my thing. Sorry Mixers. Probably won’t be a next time.

I absolutely love Mixers. I’ve been here ever since the old owners and the boba is always good. The ice cream is still the best (which I have tried just about every flavor with every topping) and I would walk here almost everyday after school. I’ve been a loyal customer and I always will be. I recommend this place not only for the delicious drinks and desserts but also for the great atmosphere and vibes it gives off.
Honestly I was sad when the old owners closed down Mixers and sold it but the place only got better from there. I would love to thank Mixers for being the number one place for me to go to whenever I want something to eat and my number one place for boba drinks.

Surprisingly decent boba outside of Chinatown, plus several picks of ice cream, and various snack foods also available. Interior setup is reminiscent of an independent Baskin Robins and staff is friendly.
Thai Tea with boba is one of their featured boba drinks, and a steal at $ 3. The taro and black sesame flavors, in that order, are my favorites– I prefer the unusual flavors rather than typical takes on chocolate and vanilla, though they do have a killer Nutella.

Sweet fix needed! Found Mixers on Unilocal when finishing dinner at Chinatown so I rushed over just before they closed. Located in a strip center and west of the LV strip — Mixers offers of large variety of ice cream, gelato and drinks. The difficult part is selecting a choice here!
I tasted several flavors but ended up going with the Stracciatella Gelato which was delicious. At $ 4.00 a cup I receive several generous scoops of the yummy gelato.
The service here by the several young gals was friendly and prompt. I’m glad I arrived before they closed BC they locked the door and another patron was turned away!
Coming back here for sure!

Unilocal 365 CHALLENGE 2014−(125÷365) «Sweet Shop in the Southwest»
This shop not only sells ice cream and boba like their name says, they’ve got Seasoned Fries, Shave Ice, Snow Ice, candies, snacks, and LOTS of it!
They have an extensive amount of ice cream that is made in-​house, and I was immediately drawn to the Asian flavors.
I got Avocado and Taro because those are my favorite Boba smoothie flavors as well, and I also got Lychee and Black Sesame. Wifey got Some Seasoned Waffle Cut Fries and a Boba Milk Tea which she enjoyed. I thought that Fry machine was pretty cool, and how it worked, totally different then your usual french fry set-​up. My lychee and black sesame Ice cream was good, but the texture of melted and re-​frozen ice cream is what the avocado and taro tasted like…:(
We may stop in for another try if we are in the area, but with Art of Flavors and Luv-​It in a more centralized location and serving up a better tasting product, it may be difficult to do. ALOHA!
