I filed for the first time here today and I was impressed with the professionalism. He was very honest from the beginning and sat down with me without rushing anything. I definitely recommend this place to any one that appreciates good customer service.

Ivanno has done my taxes for over 4yrs along with other friends & family. He is by far the best I’ve tried in this city. I highly recommend him for all your tax needs. He in knowledgable and looks for your best interest not to get audited, he’s organized and efficient, and there is a reason why he gets 5 stars, I’d give him 100 gold stars if I could.

Ivanno has been doing our taxes since we moved out here to Las Vegas over 2 years ago and we will definitely be going to him again this year!
It was tough to find someone in this city we felt we can trust that would know what to do with multiple state tax forms and wouldn’t charge us an arm and a leg. When we looked up on Unilocal there were only about 5 reviews for Montti Income Tax Service… but what mattered is that they were all 5 stars so we decided to give him a shot. Now we’re so glad to see over 50 more people in the Unilocal community have gone to him for his amazing services since then!
The office has fairly easy access and is near the corner of Flamingo and Eastern. The parking lot is small but I’ve never had an issue. The office space is simple, front desk, small TV to keep you company a restroom and the office he works out of. His office is full of his earned accolades so you can feel at ease that he is knowledgable and NOT just one of those weekend course certified tax preparers at big tax service companies that kill you with fees. Montti Income Tax Service is the real deal!
Ivanno is fast, efficient, and most importantly honest! If he can find places for us to save (all within legal limits of course) he’ll tell us. He gave us recommendations on how we can manage our w2s the following year so we can maximize our returns. No other tax place would go that length to help you understand this ever-​changing tax jibber jabber! The first time we came to him we were in transition from Los Angeles and he knew exactly how to handle all of our multiple forms including our CA state tax and school sheets. He even has his real estate license and offered to help us find a place to get us out of the hotel we were in! He genuinely cares about his clients and makes every effort possible to accommodate us where he can!
Whenever we stop by we always see a few people in the office and waiting area but, trust me, he’s never too busy for a walk in! I don’t remember waiting more than 20 minutes after walking in. I’m ashamed to say in the last two years we’ve never made an appointment and always walked in… sorry Ivanno! We’ll be sure to schedule with you this year! (^_​^)
I wish I’d posted this review sooner but now that tax season is coming up I want to make sure you all knew how AMAZING this man is! If you are looking for someone who is fast, efficient, knowledgable and affordable this is where you need to be!

Montti’s Tax Service is such a professional and well-​organized Tax Service. We have been going to Ivanno for about 10 plus years and he is so much help, he has also help my family and friends. Extremely professional individual who puts his clients first. Well versed in the IRS laws and regulations. Very friendly and easy to work with, not some stuffy tax office who just turns and burns clients to make that next dollar.

It seems fishy this guys has so many good reviews. I went to the office and talked with the guy and was not impressed. First, there wasn’t any receptionist there, the office looked sad, the guys office was like he was barely making it. I asked him questions and he gave me vague answers and tried to pawn off the work to someone else in some other state. Without him admitting to it I think he thought the tax work was too complicated for him. He said, «He only works on certain kinds of tax returns.» I’m an accountant that lives in another state so I know what I’m looking for and he isn’t someone I would trust. I was trying to find someone to do a relative’s taxes but this guys just didn’t seem to know much.

Highly recommended smart and savvy guy that impressed me from day one.
I had the IRS on me about a mess up on 3 years past tax returns and he knew just what to do, straightened it all out and saved me a lot of money and grief.
Now he is my Real Estate Agent and I am sure I will be equally impressed.

Today I had been there in Montti’s Office.
He was so nice about describing all details. I got answers to all my questions even before I pay and we start our cooperation. I will surely choose Montti for anything related to Tax regarding my LLC.

I need to write another review because his service is so amazing that he merits an update. I’m not a commitment type of person when it comes to services, but I feel that I’ve found my accountant soulmate with Ivanno. So it’s hard for me to go elsewhere. Even with TurboTax service, I feel it’s well worth the effort to just go to his office. I’ve gone here for years (4 or 5).
He’s very TRANSPARENT as an accountant and when it comes to managing your taxes or finances every year, it’s important to have that transparency.
Ivanno will break everything down for you. My Dad is in an independent contractor so Ivanno explains to my Dad what he needs to do, what Ivanno will be doing, and why. He’ll explain what the IRS maybe looking for and will also tell you what you may expect based on current news. He maximizes your returns in the best, most professional, and most trusting way possible.
He’ll breakdown and explain basic accounting knowledge to you in the best way for you to understand. I think that is an added value in any service. Knowledge is free! So take what you learn from him and even if you don’t become a regular, I promise you’ll gain something out of it that you can apply in any accounting service. You’ll leave knowing the right questions to ask.
Lastly, he’s a very down to earth person so you can feel comfortable asking and talking to him about anything. You won’t feel pressured, ashamed, or doubtful about the questions you ask. Super humbling guy. You’ll know that because he leaves you with his personal number in which you can call him when you have any pressing questions to ask after office hours. Sure enough he doesn’t answer, he’ll call you back within 24 hours. Just make sure you leave him a detailed message.

Ivanno is a true professional! I’ve filed my taxes with Ivanno for the last 2 years and always have peace of mind! Ivanno, will explain to you any of tax concern that you may have. What I like most about having Ivanno file my taxes is that he doesn’t do anything shady on your return. His office is centrally located, so it’s convenient no matter what side of town you are driving from. If you are looking for an honest, efficient, professional tax accountant, then he’s definately your guy!

Met Ivanno when I had a problem with tax last year and he was able to save me a lot of money and didn’t need an atty to get my tax fixed. My tax was done wrong by another tax service. So this year I got my tax done by him and I was really happy and satisfied with his knowledge and abilities to get things correctly and working for you the right way. Very professional, efficient, and credible! I would definitely recommend him to my friends and will definitely see him next year! Great service!

This is my second year having my taxes prepared by Ivanno and I did not mind the extra drive since I moved across town. Customer service is excellent and efficient. In addition, services are reasonably priced. He went the extra mile when I first worked with him and did again this year. I have recommended him to friends and family, and would recommend him to anyone.

This is a person who is honest in their business and legitimately interested in helping you understand everything that has to with your taxes. I am really impressed with the time and patience he gives every individual, I didnt even mind waiting (went without appointment). Prices are affordable. Also, he is the only tax preparer in the office, it’s his office, which I personally like because you can make that connection with that one person and he will remember you. MTS is the best tax place I’ve ever been to! I been going for 3 years now. Prior to that I went to h&r block, liberty tax, and others; Monti makes it a very professional and easy process. Having a tax issue is no fun. Being ignored by the company you contact about that problem, twice, is simply insulting. It would be nice if I would have had the same good experience as other Unilocal reviews, but I did not. I called Montti Income Tax Service, and was told to come in anytime to talk to someone. I came in the following Monday morning and sat in the waiting room. The only person there was with someone so I waited. I wasn’t sure if I needed an appointment or not, but the girl had said just to come in. No one in the office greeted me, I just waited until the only person there was done with his client.
I explained my tax situation (I owe for 2 years of back taxes) and was told they really couldn’t help me (not exactly sure why) but he knew someone in Palm Springs who could possibly help me out. It was a weird referral, to say the least. But he took my name and number and said someone would call me. No one ever did. I called the office back two days later to ask what was going on. I was told I would get a call the next day, by the end of the business day. Three days later, no call.
So I’m glad other Unilocal reviewers got such good service out of this business, I felt turned away, and felt even worse about a situation that is making me feel really bad in the first place.
P. S. Thanks for the harassing phone call about this review, Ivanno. It’s funny how you couldn’t be bothered to call me when I was trying to deal w/​this situation, but you can when I write a bad review. Also thanks for calling me a criminal. I’m trying to FIX my issues, not create more. Perhaps you should listen when people speak.

Talk about professional service, I sincerely felt like he had my best interest in mind. Not only did I get an excellent return. He also equipped me with advice and knowledge to make the best out of the following 12 months. I got this place recommended from a co-​worker back in ’13 after I did my taxes somewhere else. So I figured this year I’d try MTS when I got this horrible letter from the IRS.
I get a letter from the IRS stating I owe $ 14,000+ in taxes from stock trades that I did back in ’08. The part that I couldn’t understand is that I lost money in stocks. At one point, I made a lot of money in one stock that I kept selling at a high price, then rebuying more of it when it went down, and kept doing that for a while when the market was pretty crappy. The stock was Las Vegas Sands to be exact. Later, I went all in on a «tip» and lost it all when the stock tanked.
So fast forward 5 years later, IRS sends me a letter and tells me I owe them $ 14K in taxes from all my stock earnings. They don’t take into consideration what you lose, just what you sell. So to them, I made a lot of money.
Luckily for me, MTS grabbed all my E*Trade statements, compiled every single sell and buy, and filled out a form that reduced my balance to less than $ 1K.
The feeling I got when I read that letter from the IRS, I wouldn’t want to wish it on anyone. I’m glad he got me through it, and for that he has a lifelong client.

Being a disc jockey in town I needed someone that was able to help me with my finances. I was referred to Ivanno but a few of my co workers and let me tell you, very impressed and wished I came to him earlier on in my career. They also directed me to the appropriate people to start my Nevada business license after moving here from California. Great business attitude and family run atmosphere. Will come here for more years to come.
