Move 4 Less

Polite, respectful, gave a courtesy call when they were on the way. They did not putz around, but rather moved quickly and with purpose. I underestimated how many items I needed to move, but they took the extra hour and a half time frame and did not try to overcharge or dawdle. Thank you Jay and 1^st time helper for making a hard job a pleasant experience.

Everything was smooth sailing and the movers were friendly and considerate. A couple of things had minor dings but I have found that is always the case in a big move. They were on time and worked hard all day. The total came in under bid.

I wrote a review of the service provided to me by this company earlier today.
Megan reached out to me and offered me a 100.00 customer «something» to help make this entire moving experience better.
I explained that I did not want the 100.00 they offered, simply because that is an insult!
The service they provided was insufficient, lacked professionalism and honesty.
From Estimator Eric stating verbally to both my husband and myself we would receive our furniture next day. (7 days later)
To Donavan for his lack of professionalism concerning scheduling, apparently they,(move for less) decided a Thursday delivery was just what I wanted and for NOT calling me back. And further educating me in regards to what Move for less’ policy is for disgruntled customers regarding delivery. They stand behind the 7 day policy for delivery, no matter what they tell you. Its stated on the contract. That was Donavans recourse. BEWARE OF THIS!
Read the contract, don’t listen to the salesman, they will tell you just what you want to hear.
To the mess they left my rental with all the empty rolls of tape strewn all over the house, to broken glass, the wheel of my bedframe in the front yard, and a van full of items Move for less decided NOT to pack on the truck?
To the worker I believe named Miguel who came to repair the damaged door on my rental shed, and yes Megan, Donavan was prompt in sending the worker to repair the door of my shed. After which he knocked on my door to say he had fixed the damage, of which I asked him to kindly pick up all the trash, broken glass and misc items left behind by their movers. He had NO intention of cleaning up, even though I believe Donavan advised him to do so.
And furthermore according to Megan, Move for less offering me 100.00 to cover the cost of my broken microwave was far exceeding their duty, as I didn’t purchase insurance to cover the damages done by their less than professional movers. Didn’t think I needed it.
This was move for less’ response to my complaint, sending Megan out to make me look like NOTHING would ever please me, the company is not liable, Iam just one of those people you can’t please.
Couldn’t be further from the truth.
Truth is, I was expecting professional movers.
This was my first and last experience with movers. I will do it myself. Please take my advice…

Move 4 Less rates 5 stars in my opinion. First and foremost they were upfront and honest with fees and price. I recently moved from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. It was a crazy time for me my grandma passed away and my head was just not there. They made it so easy for me. I was quoted on the phone and via email. The movers showed up in time and were super friendly and professional. Per my request at no extra charge they held my stuff safely until I was able to get a bigger storage unit. Again upon delivery fast friendly and professional. I have had horrible experiences with movers in the past and won’t name names! When I am ready to move out of storage and into a home I will call them again gladly! Thank you Move 4 Less for taking such good care of my things!

I’m just in the process of unpacking and have found that pretty much everything they touched is damaged in some way. I would NOT recommend this company. Spend a little extra and use a reputable service.

I just spoke with the claims manager Elena and she told me that I was being «ridiculous» when I stated $ 1000 would be fair to fix my damaged goods. She also stated a refund would be out of the questions because services were «rendered.»

Have not heard back from Elena regarding reimbursement and a refund. She said she would speak with her «manager» and get back to me within 24 hours. Shady business practices. Apparently they offer moving insurance (which is news to me) but the contract covers 60 cents per pound. This means that my irreplaceable Salvador Dali framed print that was damaged is worth $ 6.

Received a call from a different lady who offered me $ 200 but I have to sign something and they want me to delete my reviews (Facebook, Google Reviews, BBB). I paid them $ 258 to break my things and they won’t even offer a full refund!

I have no complaints about the actual physical movers. They were great on both ends. My issue is with the administrative/​office staff at Move 4 Less.
I would NOT recommend this company for a long distance move. When negotiating the price with the estimator, I explicitly told him that I would be out of town the weekend after my move, and I wouldn’t be able to accept my belongings that weekend. The estimator said to me that was absolutely no problem at all, and if we can’t accept on a specific date then the company would work with me to deliver on a date when I was available at NO ADDITIONAL COST TO ME.
The movers picked up my stuff on April 19. I gave them a first available acceptance date of April 22, and they guarantee a delivery window of up to 10 days after that. Since I was going to be out of town April 29-​May 1, I made sure to ask if this would be an issue. I was assured it would not be.
On Tuesday, April 26, a week after the company had picked up my stuff, I reached out and asked on the status of the move. My stuff was still sitting in Las Vegas after a week. They said my stuff might arrive on Friday April 29. A few days passed, and I didn’t hear anything from Move 4 Less. On Thursday April 28, I once again reached out to the company asking for a status on the move. This time, the dispatcher told me that my stuff would likely be arriving on Saturday, April 30. I reminded him that I would be out of town on April 30. The dispatcher told me that no one informed him of this information, so if I couldn’t accept on Saturday, then I would have to pay additional costs for storage and re-​delivery. Basically, I was out of luck if I couldn’t accept on Saturday, there was nothing they would do about it, and it was MY fault for not personally telling the dispatcher, even though I had ZERO communication with him up until I took the time out to reach out to THEM. I had to cancel my trip that weekend to accept the furniture, despite the fact that I verified this would not be an issue multiple times. The whole situation was a complete pain in the ass.
The way this company handles their clients is unacceptable and I would NOT recommend this company if you are moving your belongings out of state. I had to reach out to them constantly asking for a status on the move. Now it’s clear to me that the cost estimator brushed aside my questions so that he could lock in the sale.
Moving is stressful enough. PAY THE EXTRA MONEY AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE! If you’re moving out of state, go with a more reputable, national moving company that is actually responsible for your move from start to finish.

I had a great experience from beginning to end. The salesperson was knowledgable and helped me find options that would fit my budget & patiently answered all my questions without ever making me feel rushed or pressured. The movers were on time, courteous & total pros. Everything arrived without incident. They made my move unbelievably smooth. I would definitely use them again & recommend them to my friends & family.

Thanks to Eric and Eilo for making my move so easy and smooth. I’ve used Move 4 Less in the past. One reason why I used them again. The guys were such a pleasure to be around. When I move into my house I will be calling them again. I would recommend using this company to anyone moving! They got all my stuff in ONE trip and fit it into storage. Thought it wouldn’t fit, but they proved me wrong.

Move 4 Less just did my move on Friday and I literally felt the need to open a Unilocal account to give them a fove star review. The two guys that came did the work of four guys and in such a quick efficient manner. We had multiple boxes of fragile China and other collectibles and all of it was handled with care and made it to the new house with zero damage. They took apart all the furniture and put them back up at the new place with no trouble and even boxed our TV so it would get here safe. Totally a place I will recommend to friends and use for future moves!

Best movers ever. They got my two-​story house done in three hours. Lots of furniture! Joe and Tony moved everything very very quickly, professionally, courteously. And no damage to anything. What else can I say? We did this move for $ 258. 10 years ago it cost us $ 400 with a different company. I can’t believe it cost us almost half to move this time, and we had more furniture. I highly recommend this company.

We just finished moving my finance’s mom from our house into her new house. The team today, well these guys were awesome! This is our 2^nd time using them recently, and last time was good, too, but today’s gentlemen really had the art of moving down to a science. Our experience with the company so far:
–On time; they call to check in and set a meeting time. They arrive on time.
–Reliable
–They arrive in teams of 2
–Knew what they were doing, how to organize the move most efficiently
–Came prepared with packing material
–Packed her jumbled tchotskis and loose items and quickly
–Very respectful and careful
–Very professional; it can be unnerving having strangers in you home, I felt very comfortable with all of their employees
–They were kind and took care of this (senior) lady and her things so that she had no worries or pains — that was really above and beyond and so comforting for her
After witnessing their skills, I will use them for any move and I seriously recommend anyone with lots of stuff to do the same!

Antoine and Cesar were very professional and efficient. They didn’t waste my time or try to drag out the services to make more money. These guys are hard workers!

I was moving from Orange County and I knew after I arrived here in Las Vegas there was no way I wanted to unload the truck. I called up move4less and they were able to accommodate me same day.
When Kjeld and Greg showed up, they asked a few questions and got to it. Banged it out faster than I could have on a good day. I appreciate their professionalism and getting it done in a timely manner. Thanks again fellas I’m still unpacking. Lol.

I chose Move 4 Less for my move from Las Vegas to Chicago because they had quoted me at the lowest price by FAR and I held my breath — I expected to sacrifice quality for price. I was surprised that they had such great service — Paul was super helpful it getting all my information. I wasn’t able to let them into my house for an estimate (I had already moved out) but using a handy survey they were able to provide me with an accurate estimate. GREAT flexibility!
On the day of the move, the movers showed up on time and did an AMAZING job wrapping everything and loading it on the truck. I even had some last minute additions that were taken care of with a phone call, and not that much more added to the bill.
I ended up finding a place a month later than expected, and I was delighted to find out that Move 4 Less was able to store my stuff for a month while I looked for a better apartment! It was very easy changing it up and they were extremely flexible.
Finally, delivery was just as smooth as the pickup. Everything got delivered without any damage and the movers even helped put some of the stuff back together.
I cannot express how satisfied I am with Move 4 Less’s service and price — I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a short or long distance move to/​from Las Vegas.

I was really apprehensive about using a moving company to move again because of my last experience with another well-​known company in Las Vegas but Move 4 Less has restored my faith in moving companies with their professional and efficient work ethics.
I called Chris Antonneau two days before I needed to move and he was able to get me the date and time I wanted to move with no hassles. It was a relief to talk to him after the other 4 companies I had talked to that day that made me feel like moving on the 1^st was going to be a lost cause. Chris gave me a quote and a time under 5 minutes!
The day of the move the driver called to let me know he was 30 minutes away and showed up 20 minutes later. He and his co-​worker got to work right away after verifying the quote with me. They had our entire place packed and moved into our new him in 3.5 hours total. It was so easy and stress free, I couldn’t believe it. They were both so friendly and accommodating that I will continue to recommend them to anyone I know that’s moving.
What was really great was that the quote was an inclusive rate. There were no «extra» fees for blankets, tape or boxes like I dealt with last time I moved. Our neighbor even came over to get a card while the movers were unpacking the truck and I made sure he knew what an amazing experience it had been for me and my family. I’ll definitely be using them again in the future.

These guys worked hard and did a great job helping me move. Perhaps they were a little too rushed as they hooked up my washer and dryer they didn’t tighten the hose clamps and we had a bit of a mess to clean up. But aside from that, they didn’t ding up my walls or scratch my floor, or break my furniture, or move slowly to drag out the clock — all things that would have resulted in a bad review. Great job and I would recommend to a friend.

After doing all my research on moving companies, I finally decided on Move 4 Less because of their stellar reviews on Unilocal and the Better Business Bureau.
I am so happy with this experience!!! Donovan called the day before to finalize my plans and Bruce called 15 minutes before they showed up. I was told they would come between 7−8am and they arrived at 7:00 EXACTLY!
Bruce and Hugo A. are the best! My mom even forced them to eat breakfast and set up the dining table but they politely declined because I was being charged by the hour :)
They were fast, efficient, and SO NICE! I was worried that my furniture was too heavy to carry between two 3^rd floor residences (I like being on the third floor), but they didn’t have a problem at all.
They also wrapped my furniture and double blanketed my 55inch tv. Everything was handled with so much care that I was tempted to ask them to help me with all my other junk at home at a later date.
And can’t beat their competitive prices. There were no extra, hidden costs! I read some seriously bad stories and watched a ²⁰⁄₂₀ expose on other moving companies that charge extra fees for stairs, heavier items, etc AFTER the customer already agreed on a work order. Move 4 Less was not like that at all!
It’s worth mentioning that the chicks that make the reservations are also awesome and patient. Nicole and Alicia — thank you for keeping the planning process so easy!
I will most definitely use them once my lease is up again!!!

Let’s just say that Move 4 Less exceeded my expectations by a LOT. Before moving day, they kept up with reminders and a call the day before which was great because it gave me confidence that they would show up on time and be ready to move. Hector and Jason were awesome. Moving from a second level apartment to a high rise, I was worried that they would take their time and milk the entire 3 hours– I was mistaken. Everything was loaded on the truck very precisely and unloaded perfectly. Speed and efficiency in Vegas heat isn’t gaurenteed but these guys did a great job and handled my things as if they were their own. Highly recommended and will definitely use them in the future.

*****Update: After reading the reply from the company, I am going to call them tomorrow and speak to Elena again. She had mentioned a while ago that my issue had gone to claims, but did not mention the time frame of 90 days.
After the matter has been resolved I will certainly update my rating and review accordingly. I really want to be as fair as possible and take these ratings and reviews seriously. I also really want to give Move 4 Less every benefit of the doubt.
With no mention of the 90 day time period and the recent lack of replies, I think any reasonable person would assume that a satisfying resolution was not forthcoming.
For the time being I will bump it up to 2 stars for the fast reply. After the situation is resolved I will update it yet again.*****
It really is a shame I have to write this review as a 1 star review. Had Move 4 Less just stepped up to the plate and done what was right, this was easily a 4 or 5 star review.
Allow me to explain…
We got the keys for our new home in early November. In an effort to mitigate charges for the pending move, we decided to rent a truck and move all the boxes and smaller items and just pay a moving company for the 2 man items. Move 4 Less had decent reviews and was also recommended by a co-​worker.
They sent 2 guys to help with a truck full of items. The guys were hard working, hustled, and did an excellent job in the 5 hours they moved our items. The only damage to any of our items occurred on literally the very last item on the truck, our sofa. While bringing it through the doorway the wood backboard was scraped along a front ridge, causing visible damage. I paid over $ 1300 for this sofa. I didn’t even freak out. All I asked was that the damage be touched up and repaired. The guys said no problem and made a notation of the damage on our receipt.
We were still impressed with how hard the guys worked and, I thought, tipped them very generously (Is $ 70 each a good tip for a mover??). I didn’t want to hold one mistake against them after all their hard work that day.
This was at the end of the first week of November. At first they asked for a pic of the damage (which I will post) and it sounded as if it would not become an issue. It has now been more than 6 weeks and there has been no communication, replies to our calls/​emails, or any effort at all to make this right. I have held off on writing this review in an effort to give them EVERY reasonable chance to take care of this situation. It is fairly obvious we have been given the brush off.
Please consider their reply, or lack thereof, when considering using this company. I believe it really reflects their character and how they operate. They damaged the item, acknowledged they caused the damage, and have failed to rectify the matter.
Completely unprofessional. Completely unethical. Utterly disappointing.
