Moxie Studio Photography and Cinema

Moxie Studio’s photos caught my eye so many times before I was ever engaged. I’ve always adored the great use of light and the gorgeous vibrant colors in all their photos. When I got engaged, they were the first photographers I wanted to meet with but knew I also needed to do some research and compare. I met with two other wedding photography companys before just to make sure I had done my research so when I met with Lisa, I knew they were who I wanted to work with! Lisa and Jamison immediately felt like friends rather than just our photographers.
Everyone who gives you advice says «the photos you have from that day are the most important» and I can truly understand why now. Looking at other photographers work, I never felt the magic and the love coming out of the photos like I did with Moxie’s. And now my engagement and wedding photos have the same feeling! Jamison and Lisa had the best packages available and were able to shoot so much of our wedding without having to worry about time restrictions. And we got this amazing sparkler shot that I’ve only seen on Pinterest! I can’t thank Moxie enough for the incredible work they did and how easy they were to work with. Can’t wait to work with them again for many more life events!

If you’re looking for visionaries, story tellers, and a talented team to showcase your love Then Moxie Studios is definitely for you! As they themselves are a couple they know what love looks like firsthand and know when to spot it behind their powerful lenses.
Put simply I stalked Lisa and Jamison and booked them a year and a half before my actual wedding– when you see work like theirs that imprints on your heart there’s no way not to! We couldn’t have dreamed of seeing our wedding day the way they did. The angles and moments they captured ate just stunning! They are professional, fun, personable, patient, and VERY in demand. Besides saying yes to my now husband— choosing Lisa and Jamison was once of the best decisions I have ever made!

I think the best compliment that I could pay Lisa and Jamison is that they don’t charge enough for their services. Of all the photographers that we met with, they were the friendliest and easiest to get along with. Our planning sessions for our engagement shoot and ceremony/​reception were extremely detailed and they were open to our suggestions so we didn’t get a «canned» version of what someone thought our photos should look like. Clearly this is more than just a business for the two of them because the amount of time they put into every shoot is way more than what you’re paying for with them behind the lens. If my wife and I weren’t moving, we would definitely use them for other life events as well! That being said, because they offer such a great deal and their services are beyond excellent, we’ll probably fly them across the country to use them. Just check out the work they did for a wedding in Alaska!

My now husband and I hired a different photographer for our wedding but after seeing their work and talking to lisa I knew they were for us!!! Her and her husband are the most down to earth and amazing people we met during our wedding. This weekend during our wedding photos we both laughed as her and their whole team were laying I bushes shooting our photos. They are above and bound what any photo and video team we have met! I am so happy and thankful to have found them. If u read this hire them!!! Do not hesitate!

I’ve been meaning to get this review done sooner, but better late than never! Lisa shot our wedding in April 2015 and an engagement session earlier in the year. We were so thrilled with both sets of photos. Lisa is an easy-​going, down-​to-​earth, and genuine person who takes her job seriously. We researched and interviewed A LOT of photographers in Las Vegas, and none compared to Moxie. Everything they did was above and beyond from the initial interview to the delivery of the final pictures. Do yourself a favor and hire Moxie — you won’t be disappointed!

My wife and I just recently got married and we picked Moxie Studio as our photographers. We are so happy that we did, they were 100% professional and fun to work with. My fiancé and I went through moxie for our engagements. Lisa and Jamison were great to work with and the pictures came out great! We went up to mt charleston. at first I wasn’t sure if the pictures would come out nice since there wasn’t much greenery at the location, but they did! Lisa & Jamison were so easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable. I highly recommend them.

Amazing. Moxie Studio, Jamison & Lisa were our photographers /​videographers for our engagement photos, engagement video, & wedding photos. These two make an amazing team together. All of our photos turned out gorgeous. Their passion for their work really shows in all the shots they take. This couple will do all they can to make your vision come alive. They are easy to communicate with & super fun to work with. They make you feel comfortable and natural even though taking endless photos kissing in front of a photographer was definitely an awkward thought for both my husband and I. These two individuals are super genuine and honest people. When going with their packages there’s no hidden fees and their prices are very competitive compared to other photographers. Every penny was worth it and your important life events will be captured beautifully. They will be my photographer of choice for all my future life events and you won’t regret picking them.

I met Lisa to help us capture our post wedding portraits. Moxie did an incredible job on our Rock the Dress session that I get giddy looking at the pictures everytime. They are a talented couple who I recommend for any photo session!

I believe Jamison and Lisa are a married couple who work together. Either way Jamison was very nice, answered all my questions and seemed interested in hearing about my special day. I was at the PWG event today with some friends and I got the change to meet a lot of photographers. Jamison was definitely one of nicest people there. Easy to talk to and I thought it was cool, their husband wife duo team. Jamison would photograph the groom and his groomsman and Lisa would focus on all the ladies. Loved the idea.

Lisa did our family photos this year, and they turned out great! The colors were so vibrant, and she was able to capture my whole family’s personalities. She is full of energy and ideas, and I’m so glad we were able to work with her. I wish I had known her when I got married — she would have been a great choice for our wedding photos.

Honestly the best choice and probably one of the best parts of our wedding. I spent a lot of time researching photographers and videographers because I knew that would be most important to us as far as our vendors go.
After our first meeting with Lisa, I knew she and her husband were the one (s)! :)
Most important things that come to my mind:
–She was so interested in getting to know us.
–Our «get-​to-​know-​you» shoot (engagement) was so comfortable. I was worried how my now-​Husband would be in front of the camera but she made him feel so comfortable!
–They commanded our large wedding party and got great shots
–Prep leading up to the wedding was thorough and she was patient with me as I always had questions!
–Everyone at our wedding complimented us (on picking them) because they were respectful at the ceremony and at the reception. Many guests also commented on how excited they were to see the pictures because it just LOOKED like they were taking such unique and great shots. When it was TRUE everyone was happy!
–Received SO many compliments on the finished products — after our engagement shoot and after the wedding.
–Lisa helped us with the day-​of timeline for her sake and for my sanity, which was really helpful.
As long as I’m living in Las Vegas, I will definitely have Lisa and Jameson take all of our photos. They are both so talented. I could go on forever! xoxo

I am so impressed with Moxie Studio! My husband and I had met with so many photographers but within 5 minutes of just meeting with Lisa and Jamison we knew that they were exactly who we wanted to photograph our wedding. Lisa was so great about answering my millions of questions and phone calls and she even gave us some great referrals for a DJ. They go above and beyond to make sure their clients are satisfied. They even spent the evening with us at the lake for our engagement shoot which turned out better than we could have dreamed! What photographer gets in the water with their super fancy camera to get a good shot? THEY DO! Our wedding photos capture all the love and laughter that was in the air on that night and I still tear up when I look at them. I could go on and on. Thanks so much you guys!

I was very interested in using Moxie for my wedding, but they never got back to me. I sent multiple emails and made a few calls… Dissappointing…

Lisa did an amazing job with our family portraits over Thanksgiving. We were visiting family and the week prior decided to use the time to take family pictures and found Moxie Studio through Unilocal.I was happy that she had time to fit us in. Obviously it’s difficult to know who you’re going to meet especially since the first time meeting would be on picture day itself but right when we met her, we were so comfortable. Lisa is super chill and her photos are absolutely stunning. With two toddlers, it’s difficult to know how their temperament would be but she was very patient with everyone. She is so prompt, straight forward and everything happened smoothly without a single glitch. So easy! We’re so happy to have worked with her. =)

After watching multiple video highlights, and reading their raving reviews, I knew they were the ones to go with. This company has helped make my wedding planning so easy! I saw their work and their prices and knew immediately that I wanted them to be my wedding photographers! Lisa is an amazing photographer and is an absolute professional.
I am not exactly «comfortable» in front of the camera but you would NOT be able to tell in the photos. A bit of a magician she is ;) Her rates are competitive and she’s very accommodating to any wacky (and unwacky) ideas that you may have!
