Mutts With Moxie

This was supposed to be a positive experience with my pet, and instead, I felt like the one always being reprimanded. I was provided with a lot of printed materials and homework and told of things I wasn’t allowed to do in class. I wasn’t allowed to use the training collar I purchased (because the trainer didn’t like them), There was only 1 other dog in the class and they were not allowed to interact at all. After informing the trainer that her methods were not working, I had to purchase a training collar. After I told her that, she told me I wasn’t allowed to attend the last class or graduate with my dog. There wasn’t a formal contract stating my automatic disqualification if I purchased/​used a collar, but these classes were prepaid up front! Not a positive experience at all!
