Nevada Career Institute

Worst decision I ever made to sign up here. They only want your money and I sat in a classroom most of the day to have some instructor pass out worksheets to complete. Not much teaching or learning going on that couldn’t be done at home with Google. They also didn’t help with looking for jobs for many people in class with me once everyone graduated. DO NOT GO HERE! They’re crooks and nice until you pay for the program.

In response to your comment, It’s a shame that when I needed to get ahold of someone at the end of my time at NCI I couldn’t get anyone of you to answer my calls or call me back, but now that I let everyone know about the bullshit I get a response. Even now, you guys can’t even give a genuine response instead of this cookie cutter, copy and paste crap.

This school has a great Surgical Tech program with some amazing instructors (Dr. V & Anne Marie). Both instructors are super helpful and always willing to take that extra step to help all students out/​succeed. I am proud to say that I will be a graduate from NCI!

Surgical tech instructor Ann Marie is so helpful and knowledgeable in what she is teaching. Not only does she know what she is talking about but she knows how to relay it in way that is understandable. She is also encouraging and easy to talk to

That’s a complete lie HAHAHA I graduated nevada career institute last June. They held a ceremony for us a month before we were actually finished with school. Anyways, lying is really not going to help with your guys’ business. Good luck though!

May not be the best vocational school in Vegas, but served my purpose. Graduated December last year. They have for the most part, decent and knowledgeable nursing instructors and nursing director. The only downside is the school’s downstairs administration. The difference between administration and the Mafia, one if them is organized.

I started at NVCI March of 2013, I was very, very excited to go back to school to become an LPN. I attended NVCI also for my medical assistant back in 2006 which I received my national license for CMA, that was a all around wonderful experience… so I decided to go back for LPN… sadly I started there, and 8 months into the coarse (which the coarse was 14 months long) life happened! I took a leave which was ok’d by the school. then I had a baby, and a major surgery following that… needless to say I found out that I was dropped, which I assumed I was still on leave… I went to the school 3 – 4 occasions to try to get back in, which I was hit with I owed 8,000 $ I was unsure why because of the fact that the financial aide person says «ive explained this to you already a lot of times, what are you confused about»? so odviously im still confused wondering why I owe so much money, I knew I owed the entrance fee! I was also aware that I owed money for month to month fees for tuition which was about 340 monthly, which I was clueless wondering why I would have to pay so much being that I was unemployed?! but still adding all this up for the 8 months I was there my math was lower than theirs… now their saying I owe the sum of 14,000 $ and I need to pay 5,000 $ up front to attend… they got me to come there saying pay 350 and I can attend class, so I paid, then I rushed up to class, 20 mins into the class they pulled me out saying they needed to see me in the office, where I was hit with this information. This has been the worst experience of my life, all I wanted to do was go to school to better myself and now I feel below the earth with this experience… to make matters worse the director there along with the financial aide lady met with me and made me feel even dumber as I was already feeling, I felt double teamed in the way that they talked with me, even as I was expressing my confusion they looked thru me with no sympathy what so ever. I still don’t believe this happened, at the end of the meeting the director said to me «and if you try to go to another school you wont be able to because of this, and right now we don’t even have a date of when our next LPN classes will even happen»… I held my composure and tears until I exited the building, because I never let anyone see me sweat… I pray no one else has to go thru a nightmare like this!

They’re still trying to get me to go there. It’s been 3 months, and I told them I’m now going to pima medical institute, which is going GREAT! I love it.

I went to inquire to this vocational school a few times because I was trying to get in to their LPN program. Only Luisa was helpful and the rest are very unprofessional…
