Dr. Roger Paez opened this office in 2004. Dr. Paez is a native of Las Vegas and takes great pride in providing the best eye care in Las Vegas. Dr. Nicole Yontz joined Optic Gallery Eastern in 2011, and has been a great addition to the practice.

Business Owner

Dr. Paez is a native of Las Vegas and graduated from UNLV. He graduated from Bishop Gorman High School and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He was actively involved in leadership as a member of the UNLV Tennis Team, Nevada Tennis Association, and the Association of Health Professionals. Dr. Paez attended the Inter-​American School of Optometry and did his optometric internships at the Kendall Eye Institute in Miami, Center for Better Vision in Boca Raton, Eye Freedom Clinic in Miami, and several hospitals located in Puerto Rico. During his optometric education, Dr. Paez was Student Council President, AOA Student Leadership Award Recipient, Deans Leadership Award Recipient, and placed second in the National Optometry Super Bowl. He is currently practicing in private practice with Optic Gallery Eastern.

It’s hard to find good doctors of any professional that listen to the needs of their patients vs telling the patient what they need.
Here I feel heard and cared about!
They may not have the eye glass selection of some of the larger chain galleries, but their staff is friendly knowledgeable, and helpful. The doctors are top notch. Their equipment is high tech. You get the best of the best along with the small business appeal.
I’ve been going to them for eye care for 5 years and I recommend them to everyone!

Based off of the reviews from Unilocal I decided to bring my son here to get a new pair of glasses the office is very clean and the staff is very nice and patient. My son is very satisfied with his glasses and it was a bonus being they accepted my insurance I still left spending $ 200 but after all the kid needed a new set of eyes!

I have been going here for almost 7 years. The staff are very friendly and professional. I saw dr. Johnson and she was great. She goes over everything with your eyes and answers all your questions. I’ve been to 2 different eye doctors in the past and this one is the best. I will never change.

I had the best experience with Dr Johnson today. I lost my glasses and she was able to fit me in and made my new glasses while I waited. The best part was she didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. I will be back.

Hands down one of the best experiences that I have had here in Vegas. I made my appointment online and was very easy to confirm. I submitted all of my paperwork online so that I didn’t have to fill it out there.
When I got there I waited about 5 minutes before being called back. The staff is really sweet, friendly, and courteous. I absolutely loved the doctor she was AWESOME!!! They didn’t try to sell me any extra stuff that I didn’t need. They gave me exactly what I needed on my budget and I appreciate that.
Thank you Optic Gallery for a pleasant experience and taking care of my eyes. I highly recommend this office as they are the best hand down !!!

Went into this eye doctor with good vibes it would be a quick and easy process. Broke my glasses so I decided to order new ones with this optic gallery. Ordered glasses on December 1st and was told it would be ready on the 19th. On the 21st after hearing nothing I called back asking if they were ready to which one receptionist said they were not and wouldn’t be ready till the 29th. Graciously, they provided me with a free trial of my prescription contact lenses after I expressed how inconvience it was for me. Went in to get them, they were a different brand, thick and uncomfortable. Very helpful Called on the 29th in the morning and they said it would be shipped today and they would call me later on to pick them up. It’s the 30th now and no call. So I called them back and asked if they were ready and now they are saying it looks like it won’t be ready until Monday the 4th. Wtf??? More than a month wait for some glasses? So unprofessional. Don’t go here if you expect your order to arrive in a timely fashion. Not worth the money. Big thumbs down

I have gone from eye doctor to eye doctor based on where I am located or availability and I finally feel like I have found an eye doctor for life. Dr. Paez and his team were cordial and efficient in my visit there. I had the first appointment of the day but I had no wait time.
Also, the associate who helped me pick out frames was very patient with me and helpful in guiding me toward what I wanted. They are also open on Saturdays!!!

This is only my second time here but I’m very pleased with the staff. Everyone is polite and the optometrist actually takes time to answer questions. The frame selection is very nice but kinda pricey. I would recommend this place to anyone with insurance and at least $ 200 set aside for what insurance doesn’t completely cover.

Andy and I came here recently to get prescription glasses, from the results we apparently really needed them! The staff was friendly and on top of things. I do have to say however the iPad they give you to input all your information is a total pain, it doesn’t work and is very frustrating. But i give it a pass being as its very eco friendly. The exam went smooth. The doctor however was apparently a «fill in» so it was apparent she couldn’t have cared less. She even got Andy’s prescription wrong and he had to go back in to get his glasses redone. I’m giving it a 4 star because of the staff and frame selection.
