Dr. Wlodek was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After graduating from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1993, he practiced in Calgary, Alberta for eight years. Since relocating to Las Vegas in 2001, Dr. Wlodek has been recognized by the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce with an Outstanding Customer Service Award. He is a member of the Nevada Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and a charter member of the Lions Club Las Vegas Vision Partners.

Dr. Wlodek and his staff are amazing. There’s never a wait, they get you in and they get you out! Each person on their staff will remember your name, will greet you and are so friendly. I have recommended any of my friends who need an optometrist to this office! Simply the best!

The office staff was great; very welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable. The Doc is professional, explains things, and makes the appointment quick and painless. My husband and I were in and out within an hour. We both got exams and I picked/​ordered my glasses. we didn’t feel rushed or pressured at any time. We’ll definitely be back!

Dr. Wlodek is the greatest Optometrist. I have been his patient for 3 yrs. His staff is courteous and caring. The doctor is patient and explains what he’s doing. He is thorough and after losing my vision insurance, I gladly pay out of pocket. I treasure him.

My personal experience with this office was less than satisfying. Did not get a welcomed feeling from the moment I walked in and My out of pocket expense was higher then estimated (hidden cost) and high pressured sales staff.

What a waste of my afternoon. Went for the first time and verified all charges before hand, when I arrived and started to fill out the paper work they wanted an extra $ 29 for an exam since I was a new patient. Explained to them the expected charges and that we verified this before my appointment but they did not care. I did not stay for my appointment and left feeling like they were trying to rip me off.
Watch for their hidden charges they do not tell you about, this place is just a scam.

So far so good with this place.
They get a little pricy if you like nice frames like I do.
I have some what of a glasses fetish. I have many and I love them.
The last major glasses purchase I made went on here. My last pair lasted me 10 years or so, I got them from lens crafters. I had new insurance now and after checking out a few places I came to this one and was very impressed by their selection.
I ended up getting two pairs. When you get something expensive that you are going to use everyday, get two!
That and I couldn’t decide.
So i got a cat eye pair of Pradas, and solid black frame by MK.
Came out to like 600 dollars. With special none glare lenses and all…
Made two payments. Will get new lenses after two years, its offered with my purchase.
Love these glasses.

Picked it because its walking distance to my home but I like Dr W a lot so I’ll keep him.
Frames seem a bit expensive but I’m sure its average for good frames. I don’t have the patience for the exam and to shop for frames in the same day so I usually end up getting them elsewhere. I do get my contacts here because it doesn’t really require any work on my part and I like that.

I’ve been going here for many years and even though it is a 10-​mile trip in one direction, it is worth every inch of it.
«Doc» Wlodek is superb and his staff is professional, of course, but incredibly friendly, compassionate and helpful.
Most importantly, they are kind enough to laugh at my stupid jokes.
He might not be able to «cure» some vision problems, but I’m confident that he and his staff will give you the very BEST possible help in dealing with them, whatever they may be.
Make an appointment with him today, because your eyesight is much too important to ignore.

I used to come to this location in college. I liked Dr. Wlodek and his eye exams so I came back once I got vision insurance again. I feel he’s very thorough and answers questions.

My only complaint… I wasn’t in love with any of the frames.
Overall, nice, small optical shop.
