This is a review for the PH Live theater located inside their Miracle Mile shops adjacent to the casino while attending Linkin Park on 2⁄16. PH Live seats 7,000 and while the concert itself was FREAKIN’ AWESOME. Unfortunately, the location leaves alot to be desired. Positive part, the theater inside is very nice. We had seats in the front area, but it didn’t seem like there was any really bad seats unless maybe you were at the back of the balcony. They had 1 line to enter the theater. Near the entrance it was split into 2 to circle the bar there at the front. When I arrived about 1hr before the concert the line was about 1⁄3 wrapped around the MM shops. The Miracle Mile is a circular shaped mall with the center being the theater. Since I hadn’t eaten yet, I went to grab a quick bite and use the restroom before enterting since I figured the line would probably recede near the start of the concert and my friend hadn’t arrived yet. Boy, was I wrong. On top of the shortage of security/ushers, people cutting in all over the line, by the time I entered the back of the line with about 20min to go, the line was almost 2⁄3 wrapped around the mall. It was almost circled around, crazy lol. It’s worth noting when we were close to enterting I turned around to peek at the line and it was still farther than I could see around the corner. They were in the middle of the first song by the time we got to our seats. Not a big deal. Still had great seats to see a kickass concert! Parking itself has alot of room in the form of an eleven floor parking garage & valet. But you might be better off taking the stairs since there is only 2 elevators that service the garage. They did have people directing traffic, which I’m sure helped expedite things but going in before the concert and leaving after had very long traffic jams. I do realize that its not gonna be a breeze attending a concert if you drive. But I’ve seen the traffic flows of other concerts at other venues here on the strip and this was, at least in my experience, arguably the worst one I’ve witnessed. I didn’t even attempt the elevator(I was parked on the 10th floor) until 1 hour after and there was still a short, albeit steady line waiting. I waited about 30min more and realized the line wasn’t gonna get any shorter since people kept showing up after each set went in I just went and got in line. When I got to the 10th floor, cars were still lined up on the ramps waiting to exit all the way up the 11th floor with more cars still waiting to pull out of their stalls to join the line. Not wanting to fight that line I just sat in the car and texted some friends and listened to more LP(don’t judge!) while I figure I’ll let it die down. It was a little over 2hours post-concert before I decided to start the car and leave. There was still traffic about halfway down the garage but it didn’t take probably more than 15min to finally exit the garage. It helped I took the side roads and went around the main traffic on the road to get home.
