Specialties

We offer themed sets for shooting, as well as seamless backdrops. We have a wall of TV’s, a vintage living room, an antique room, claw foot bathtub, Murder Room, brick wall and cloth backdrops to shoot with. Video projects welcome.

Established in 2010.

Photo Bang Bang has been designed around the needs of photographers, creating a diverse shooting space that maximizes its potential. We have hosted music video shoots, reality TV shows, web series, interviews, independent films, workshops, private photo shoots, wedding parties, music shows and film screenings. We are a participating member of the Las Vegas Arts District community and we have an open house every First Friday featuring live experimental music.

We booked the Photo Bang Bang studio for a pre-​ceremony wedding shoot on 10÷31÷15. We brought in our own photographer. I was familiar with the studio from First Friday and the Nomic community. The studio is inspirational and amazing. It is located in the 18b Arts District and was convenient to the wedding chapels. The rental price is phenomenal. 3 rooms of scenes and and an extensive amount of cool props. As an off-​beat bride and a supporter of our local arts community, this was the absolute perfect spot for our shoot. Curtis booked our shoot and was present during the shoot. He made booking super easy and he was also very friendly and helpful. I had 14 people at this shoot and everyone was super impressed by the studio.
I definitely recommend this studio. I hope to visit again for another session.

I want to update my review of Photo Bang Bang. .I didn’t understand the process of securing studio time at first, but using their automated reservation system worked smoothly! …Was greeted by Co-​owner Curtis, he made the entire process so easy and fun! …Was extremely helpful in setting up different background scenery and lighting equipment. .I would absolutely without hesitation, use his studio again!

You may be frightened by the emo children at First Friday, but don’t worry, you won’t need to brave them to experience Facebook Fridays at Photo Bang Bang. Honestly, even if you skip the rest of pleasantries you will still get your visit’s worth by stopping by this little gem on the first Friday of the month. (You may want to call to make sure it is happening, just in case)
It is a photography studio that puts the «h» in hipster, but in a good way, not in a «I want to be obscure and wear skinny jeans for the heck of it» kinda way. They’re artists. It’s different. The gents behind Bang Bang are creative, enterprising and committed to making something big happen downtown, but back to my story:
One evening at First Friday we were walking back to our car and noticed a warm, glowing light down a sidewalk. I was halfway tempted to ignore the light, but in a moment of bravery, we made a hard right and walked on in. We were immediately greeted by friendly people, snacks and the question: «Do you wanna get your picture taken?»
We must have looked scared because they immediately assured us there were no strings attached, no packages to buy… you simply have your portrait taken (approximately 4 poses) and then they upload the shots on their Facebook page. The pictures came out marv (short for marvelous, replacement for cool… use it). Immediately afterwards, I wanted to devise a plan to have Photo Bang Bang photograph something else. I am still working on that plan.
