History

Established in 2004.

shym​c​grath​.com was begun as a concept just over 10 years ago by Shy, to build a Photography and Videography business that would create striking contemporary visuals, based on cutting edge technical skills. It has since grown to include her partner and Fiancé Alex Bryan. In addition, working closely over the years with many of Las Vegas’ most talented artists and individuals in the digital imaging field, has allowed her to create a family of trusted and well respected creators of Photo and Video who are proudly part of the team:)

I completely agree with the other 5 star reviews! Shy and her team were absolutely amazing!!! We planned our Vegas wedding from Toronto and struggled to find a photographer and videographer for our wedding because so many companies came up in our search. However, we are so lucky that we found Shy McGrath because from the moment we received an email back from her we instantly knew she was the person for the job! She is very professional but personable. We felt so comfortable being ourselves in front of the camera! She and her crew took amazing pictures and edited the video for our wedding perfectly! Looking at the pictures and watching the video you magically get transported right back to your wedding day!!! If you’re looking for a photographer and videographer for any event I highly recommend Shy McGrath!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Shy McGrath! Shy was fantastic to work with and responded so fast to all of my emails. We got a wonderful price, a very experienced videographer, ALLLLLLL of the amazing footage of such a special day and then we even got a sneak peek of what our video was going to look like and the chance to add a few edits, although none were needed — it was perfect! It couldn’t have been a better purchase for the wedding. Shy and her whole team are a delight to work with and I cannot say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU enough!!! When we were originally planning our wedding we had decided that we were ok with paying a little more for photography and skiping videography all together. At the last minute my incredibly generous mother decided to pay for our videography as there were several family members who due to age or health were not able to make it. We hired Shy and her team literally the Thursday before our Saturday wedding. Shy was incredibly nice, courteous and professional. She was also incredibly reasonably priced and her work was amazing! I would highly recommend Shy to anyone looking for videography, she’s great!

My husband and I were looking for someone who was experienced, reasonably priced, and who could accommodate us from a different state. Shy and her team went above and beyond our expectations on our wedding day. She was incredibly easy to contact through text and email — with quick response times and callbacks if necessary. Best of all, for our needs — she didn’t need a lot of guidance or feedback. She just asked us for an outline of our expectations for our day.
Vegas weddings are typically chaotic since they are planned by out-​of-​towners, and we were not spared of last minute hiccups. Our venue wasn’t ready until right before the ceremony. Shy and her team alleviated our stress by going with the flow and waiting patiently for our venue to be ready. Once ready, they went swiftly to work and took pictures of everything they knew we’d want to remember.
Our videos and pictures turned out beautifully. It’s amazing to think that she produced something so perfect for us without any guidance. She is truly gifted.

My wife and I were looking for a reasonably priced videographer for our wedding. We found a few, but we’re very limited to what we wanted the video to include. Then we found Shy McGarth. She is very flexible, and gave us some great ideas to capture all the priceless moments. In short, the video is superb. They were able to capture all the behind the scenes, and special moments. Her editing brought everything together in a nice flowing video shoot that was simply breathtaking. I’m entirely grateful for all the effort they put into shooting our wedding. Definitely recommended for such a special occasion.
