History

Established in 1994.

Jeff Korhonen founded Precision Performance in 1994 after spending years working under his father, Wally, at Wally’s Honda.

Precision Performance was opened so that we could provide owner’s of Toyota and Lexus vehicles with exceptional service. We strive to meet the needs of our customers in every way possible including vehicle maintenance and repair.

New to the area and very apprehensive in taking my old, babied Toyota anywhere. Wow. So glad I found this place! Jeff the owner was extremely patient in answering all my questions and getting the work done faster than he estimated. Very thoroughly and expertly explained what the trouble was with my engine and what to watch out for in the future. While my parts were inexpensive, I was happy to spend a few hundred on the expertise. Take your Toyota here. You will not be sorry.

A few weeks ago I was visiting Vegas with my dad and grandfather and our car broke down on the strip. We have no contacts in Vegas so I did some quick googling and found this shop and decided to give it a shot. Thank goodness I did! They were so helpful and friendly. They fixed the far right away so that we could get back home on schedule. Extremely reasonable price, no shenanigans and the work was great! We were so happy! Everyone at this shop was amazing. If you have any Toyota troubles at all I highly recommend coming here.

I was visiting Las Vegas with family in my Toyota Corolla and the engine light went on. Jeff checked the vehicle and not finding anything tried swapping ignition coils to recreate the issue. His prompt help and honesty helped me have a great trip. Thank you everyone at Precision Performance for doing a splendid job. I would like to add ANOTHER five star review to this shop. I recently brought my 92 Toyota 4Runner here for new fuel injectors and brought it back again for a new TPS. Jeff (Owner) was a straight shooter and did an amazing job with my 4Runner. As mentioned in other reviews, it is hard to find good shops in Vegas.
The GM Daniel took the time to wait for me one night thinking I was coming in after work. I was unable to make it so when he called I told him I would be there in the morning. When I got there the next morning he introduced himself and shook my hand; didn’t seem one bit annoyed that he stayed late and waited.
Other shops need to make these changes and start treating people as thought they might come back as it often is the little things that matter to some people. Great prices and went the extra mile for us. Thank you Precision Performance, I will be back!!!

I took my 1996 Toyota 4Runner w 200K miles on it to Jeff for a tune up and to fix the air conditioning. It’s been a very good little truck for the 140K I have owned it, but I knew it needed a few repairs…
Jeff didn’t just repair it, he made it brand new!
My truck runs better now than it did when I bought it, in 2003.
Jeff runs the Toyota side, his father runs a second shop/“Wally’s/the Honda side, next door. (essentially).
The combined shop is clean, comfortable and convenient. Jeff is straightforward and no nonsense and tells you exactly what it is. As he said to me, «I don’t tell people to fix cars that shouldn’t be fixed. But if a car can be fixed, I want to fix it.» And he did!
I need a stack of his business cards to hand out, because if you live in Las Vegas and own a Toyota, there is only one shop where you should go for service: Precision Performance.

I had a part I was trying to replace on my own but didn’t have the right tool so I called Jeff who told me to bring it in and he would take a look at it. He brought it into the garage shortly after I got there and did a general assessment because my car is a little rough. After that he replaced the part for me no charge! On top of that the repair was quick and professional so I guess what I’m saying is I found my mechanic from here on out.

Toyota or Lexus owners look no further! This is one of the best/​quality shops to bring your vehicle. From a/​c problems to water pumps-​Yes, I had these issues with my cars– on one visit I had strange vibrations coming from my car and when they popped open the hood, they were able to diagnose and show me exactly what was he issues were, they also explained to me that there were ways to save money on labor if I fixed the secondary issues now since they were in the the same area of the main job! I’m all about saving a buck! Jeff does a quality job at a reasonable price!
I will never go back to the dealer as long as this shop is around!!!

When you drive an old Lexus and know nothing about mechanics it is nice to go somewhere and know they are honest.
I knew I had a costly repair but my regular mechanic was not available. I went here due to their amazing reviews.
They gave me a ride home so I would not have to wait. They called me and told me what was wrong, how much it would cost and when it would be done. Then they gave me a ride back. Service was Fast friendly and stress free.
If you own a Toyota or Lexus I strongly recommend them.

This place was a blessing from God! We have been having troubles with our Lexus for about a year. We had called the dealership but they are so costly, I could never afford to take it there. We then took it to Dr Auto, whom was cheaper but the problem still persisted. Finally I looked on Unilocal and found this location. They were friendly even while on the phone explaining the problem. We got to talk to a mechanic right away not a service manager… They were able to get our car in the same day for a look over, then the mechanic called us within 2 hours to advise of the problem and what he could do to fix it. I’m super impressed and they have earned all my business with all 3 of my cars and I will sing their praises to all. Great job guys!

They seem to love what they’re doing and I’ve never seen a happier bunch of customers sitting in a mechanic’s waiting room. Last week my Toyota needed a minor repair, which they did for free while I waited even though I’d never been there before. It’s been back for a regular service and battery replacement and everything seems top notch.

We were coming to a trade show in Las Vegas, on our way my daughter was hungry so we decided that we were going to get her something to eat, when we came out the car would not start. Ugh. We called triple AAA and they got it to start. Then the next day called Precision (they had a 5 star on Unilocal) and made an appointment with them, and they said they would check it to make sure it was the battery. And it was! They gave me a great price and only $ 20 to install Wow! They did not take advantage of me because I’m from out of town.
They are honest when I checked with a friend in La and he said that it was reasonable.

Just moved to town from SoCal. Had transmission serviced on my 2006 Toyota Camry in California prior to moving. After arriving in Vegas I discovered an oil leak. Found this shop based on the Unilocal reviews so I took a chance. They took my car the same day. Completed fixing the last shops mistake that afternoon. Great customer service, very honest, friendly, and never felt I needed to question the opinion of the required repair. I will be back. Its nice to know I have a local Toyota mechanic to rely on!

Jeff, the owner is a jewel and so is everyone I interacted with at Precision. I don’t care what anyone tells you… If you’re female and you’re moderately attractive and single. .if you go to get something fixed at a dealership or repair shop — I never feel as though if I’m getting shafted or if I’m getting an authentic diagnosis about my vehicle.
Now, I’m sure the dealerships that shift women do not care if I’m attractive, but they «smell the fact that I know ZERO about fixing a broken car!»
Jeff explained what needed to be fixed on my RX330… gave me the price for the part and it was 1⁄3 less than the Lexus dealership.
My next repairs will be at Precision. .they ROCK!

I had a charging system issue on my Lexus so I looked online for a good lexus independent shop, after calling and speaking with Jeff about my issue he told me to bring my car down and he would do everything he could to get it fixed the same day. They got my vehicle fixed that day for me so I wasn’t stuck without a car for the weekend. Great service and very friendly staff. They go above and beyond for the customers. Thanks guys
