The team of Premier Pools & Spas — Las Vegas prides ourselves in building award-​winning, custom in-​ground swimming pools and spas. Our professional pool installation and renovation team is available in Las Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin, North Las Vegas and Boulder City. We only hire individuals who are both talented designers and detail-​oriented builders. This means that each project will be handled from beginning to end, by someone who is highly experienced in every aspect of the process.

Premier Pool & Spas specializes in pools that match unique home designs and backyard spaces. We are experts at building free-​form, geometric, modern design, or traditional swimming pools and spas.

History

Established in 1988.

Premier Pools & Spas opened its doors believing that a successful pool company should build on a foundation of customer-​focused employees and happy families… yours and ours. We started with one office in California and now have grown to more than 30 locations nationwide. PPAS-​LV opened its doors in 2001 in Las Vegas, when Ron Bennett, Jr., the manager, returned home to the town he grew-​up in. This hometown boy’s travels led him to join the Marine Corps and travel to California, where he began designing pools. He realized that Premier offered the business integrity and the construction expertise he was looking to be a part of. He wanted to bring those values back to his hometown. PPAS-​LV cares about our customers and the families we build for. We are invested in Clark County, Nevada. We are members of the Southern Nevada BBB, are active in supporting the Las Vegas Area Boy Scout Council, Make-​A-​Wish Foundation, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, youth sports, and local art programs.

Premier Pools and Spas opened its doors in Las Vegas in 2001, when Ron Bennett, Jr., the manager of Premier Pools and Spas — Las Vegas (PPAS-​LV), returned home to the town he grew-​up in, with his wife and family. A graduate from Bonanza High School, this hometown boy’s travels led him to join the Marine Corps, travel to California, where he attended college. In 1994, while in California, Bennett began designing pools for Premier Pools and Spas, at their first office in the Sacramento area; while there, he realized that Premier Pools and Spas offered the business integrity and the construction expertise he was looking to be a part of. He wanted to bring those values back to his hometown, and now he owns and operates the Las Vegas franchise.

So after 2 years and less then a year since they resprayed my deck the cool decking is crumbling off worse then before they «fixed» it. So I emailed the customer service team and they said I never had a warranty on the deck and they did me a favor. Well if it was done right the first time I wouldn’t have any issues. I’m doing them a favor by not filing a lawsuit for construction defect. Also let me add that after they changed out my led lights the 2nd time they never fixed the big gaping hole in the quartz around my lights. Once my pool is warm enough to swim I’ll put more pictures up because I don’t want anyone else to have to go through this nightmare of lies and poor work.

All I can say is… Don’t Do It!
NIGHTMARE! NIGHTMARE! NIGHTMARE!
My wife and I entered a contract with Premier Pools to build a pool at our new home in Las Vegas. We had heard horror stories about pool builders in the area and were cautioned to use a nationwide company opposed to a local contractor as they go out of business, disappear or simply file bankruptcy. That made sense, so I looked toward Premier Pools for the contract as Ron told us they were nationwide.
Ron came to my house and reassured me that Premier Pools would do a great job and they had great results in the area. This was one of several «stories» that Ron tells. I found Ron to be completely full of empty promises, he committed his company to deadlines he simply wouldn’t deliver on, and he failed to return our phone calls and got his employee Sam to address issues when the situation was getting too heated for him.
My pool was to be completed at the end of February so when March came along we of course wanted to understand what happened. Ron avoided our calls, diverting them to his answering service. Rarely would he ever call back, we had to call repeatedly to get a response. Ron was quick to take the money but other than that don’t expect much else.
I later heard that Ron has purchased the rights to Premier Pools in Las Vegas. If that is true (which I can’t confirm or deny) this would make Ron the local pool guy that I was warned about (by Ron no less). Ironically, that would be the only thing that does live up to the expectation! He is difficult and hard to work with.
My pool went weeks with no activity, his workman left trash and debris in the pool continually. We asked Ron to have his crew at least clean up the trash as we were expecting out of town guests, Ron assured so that it would happen and then never showed up to clean up a thing. Even his staff questioned some of the comments that Ron told us? He either is a great liar or maybe just not as knowledgeable as he wants people to think he is about building a pool. Ultimately, my wife and I had the privilege of sweeping the excess concrete, pull out broken pieces of wood and drained rainwater that was sitting on the gunite for weeks as Ron was nowhere to be found.
At this point, I wouldn’t trust Ron to blow up a child’s play pool without excuses, problems and delays! You might be safer to dig the pool yourself!

While the pool is eventually getting done and basically what we wanted the journey has been slow an unacceptable, with the original completion date of June 2014 we are now is September and they continue to drag their feet on simple things such as a switch for the lights in the pool. Communication after signing has been vague with most answers being so generic they are meaningless like, «We’ll get on that ASAP» while a month later the issue is still unresolved. My salesman Ron does love the double talk and changes the topic when his points are invalidated. The very contract he gives you says not to pay him until each of the steps are completed, but Ron skirts this by giving you an invoice that only list the portion of work he did do and not the work he didn’t but the total on the invoice is for everything, done or not. Very sneaky and he is so adapt at this I find it difficult to believe that this isn’t his normal mode of operation. All in all the pool should last for years and had Premier honored their written and verbal commitments to me this review would have been a solid 4 star and possibly even a 5 star. With all the headaches from having to watch them every step of the way one would be better off to do an owner/​builder pool, you would still have the headaches but at least you would save a few bucks in the process. Had I not kept constant pressure on them the pool would have been a foot shallower than contracted for, the solar stubs would have been forgotten, the stone work around the pool would have been incomplete and the entry to the pool would have had a two inch hump/​tripping hazard right in line with the steps. There is still the question about the gated entry to back yard as the city inspectors signed off on the project before the self closing mechanism was added to the gate, now Ron at Premier doesn’t recall this as being a requirement. Even with a written clause where Premier Pools was to pay me a per day late fee Ron has even backed out of that, the only way to deal with these guys is to not pay them until the final steps are completed and don’t fall for their double talk about how you will be billed an additional fee if not paying for the interior finish up front. If they haven’t completed what they say they did they don’t pay them as the legal system and the contractors board will become your only means to resolve the issue, once Premier Pools has your money good luck getting issued resolved.
