Tom is an amazing teacher. I learned a lot from him. He knows what he’s talking about and he makes sure that we all understand everything. He made sure that we got a good grasp of different situations. I’ll definitely get my renewal here.

This was a great place to go to for renewing your CPR! Tom is very knowledgeable and makes the class fun. He will make sure you leave understanding how to save someone’s life and offers you the ability to come in and observe classes as a refresher for free!

This was my first CPR class ever and was impressed by how thorough the instructor was. He was knowledgeable and helpful and he made the class interesting and fun. I will for sure go back for my renewal.

Prism Cpr has the best most thorough presentation of BLS for Healthcare Providers. I have taken BLS many times before to renew my certification. This is the most professional and knowledgeable coverage that stays in your brain much longer than most classes I have taken elsewhere. Instructor Tom and his family have a clean facility with the latest equipment. I would recommend this course, this instructor, and this company for four hours of engaging and nonjudgmental instruction. It was obvious that the class members initially appeared nervous, after all our jobs depend on passing and knowing this lifesaving instruction. My son is a physician and took the class with us too. He and I will only come to Prism for our ACLS
And PALS soon. You will leave with an honest confidence that you can perform the functions of the class and not attend some classes at other facilities where the atmosphere is so tense, it is difficult to learn and you are not just learning to pass the test like some places I have experienced in the pass, you are learning to be confident and so sure of the curriculum that passing the test is a breeze. When was the last time you celt revitalized in your confidence of reacting and recognizing cardiac arrest and rescue breathing and if course the AED.

This was my first time here at Prizm Cpr & was referred here by an NP I work with. First off, Tom was excellent!!! He made sure we all understood the different scenarios & we were also hands on with the mannequins. Typically, CPR classes range between 6 – 8 hrs. But Tom saved us so much time by cutting out things he could just explain to us. Which I’m glad!!! This is a family owned business, I really would rather see my money going towards that than a corporate business. But that’s my opinion. If you want your money’s worth, go here.
I have learned so much today from this class & will definitely benefit from it. I’m not as afraid of performing CPR (if need be) because of Tom. His passion for teaching this class really shows!!!

Tom’s class is fun, easy to understand, and time-​saving. Some CPR courses are up to 6 hrs long, costly, and a snooze … but I got out of there in under 3.5 hours and aced the test. Great CPR course at an affordable price! I will be back.

This place is seriously fantastic. I took the BLS class today since I’m a newly certified CNA. Tom is a great great great teacher and takes teaching CPR very seriously, which I appreciate. He is seriously the nicest and I’m so happy I found this place. I also love that it’s a family business and the class is so reasonably priced. I would seriously recommend this to anyone who wants/​needs their CPR certification. I will forever come here for my renewal!

Prism is the only place I will ever go to to get my CPR renewal ever again. I took Tom’s BLS (basic life saving) course today. This is a course intended for anyone in the health professions like nurses and emt’s. This is traditionally a 6 to 8 hour long class. Tom cuts out a lot of the overly dramatized instructional video to help save some time (for that alone I would pay double!) You practice on mannequins designed to light up if you are preforming correctly. We went over how to preform CPR on adults, children and babies in 1 person and 2 person scenarios as well as how to handle choking incidents. We also went over using bag masks and AED machines. The class was 4 hours long, I feel like I learned and practiced everything I needed to know without wasting any time.
I would also prefer giving my money to a family business rather than a hospital or franchised corporation. The class was $ 40, but vary depending on the level of certification you need.
If you have somehow found this review not looking for a CPR class or are on the fence, I urge you to take the class. There were times I teared up in class thinking about being in a situation where a loved one needs CPR and having to stand by and watch and hope that the paramedics show up in time. Its a skill everyone should have!

I just took the cpr/​aed class here. I scheduled the class online. The website was easy to navigate and there was plenty of class availability. The instructor Tom was knowledgable and inviting. He kept the class active and timely! People please be there early like instructed! When you show up late you interrupt the class!

Tom is awesome giving the most thorough instruction that I have encountered in the 16 years of my certification. The renewal class is perfect for getting back on track with new standards and you get a lot of hands on practice as well with adult and baby scenarios, which is the best way to learn in my opinion. It is as good as it gets!

Tom’s a great teacher, he’s got it down that’s for sure! I had to get my BLS/​CPR cert prior to getting into EMT at CSN. He also compacts all the material from a 8 hour class to 3 – 3 ½ hours. You get certified that same day. Great experience!

I went to this center yesterday to take my CPR class and it was an excellent experience. Tom is very knowledgable and make learning fun. I highly recommend this place. I’m not going anywhere next time.

I just renewed my BLS for Healthcare Provider at Prism CPR Training Center. This is my 2^nd time taking a class there and I will be a continuing customer and refer my co-​workers and colleagues. The class is conveniently available to M-​F workers on a Saturday and only takes 3 and ½ hours of my valuable time. It is very affordable. The class is well taught for the novice or experienced healthcare worker. You not only leave the class with a certificate from the American Heart Association, but you feel prepared to be able to use the skills taught in class if you were to need to.

Ever since I needed to be CPR certified, I have been coming to this center. I recently returned to get re-​certified.
I have come here multiple times and I have always enjoyed the class, the instructors, the practice equipment, and the experience as a whole.
Signing up for the classes have always been easy, they even send you reminders to make sure you are showing up. All of the instructors that i have had each subsequent visit have been enjoyable and very informative. The price for the class has always been reasonable.
I will have to get re-​certified in another 2 years, and I will once again to return to this business.

Great class, Tom is a great instructor who makes learning fun. Most importantly you learn everything needed to save a life. Prism also lets you come back for free refresher classes between your 2 year renewal course.

Great teacher! Tom was funny and knows what he is talking about. I decided to go with this class because I also Unilocaled it and it was like everyone said it would be like! There were about 18 people in the class so it wasn’t that big. Family owned business, I would definitely recommend taking this class for anyone who wants to take a BLS/​CPR class! Thanks tom!

I had a great experience here getting my CPR card. Tom is very knowledgable and friendly. Classes may have more people than you’d expect so make sure you call them ahead of time. Overall, I recommend this place especially if you’re a health care provider needing renewal on your CPR card (great for nursing students as well)!

Do you want to learn how to save a life? Potentially save a stranger, or loved one from death? Well I have good news, Prism CPR Training Center is the place to go.
I needed to find a basic life support training class and luckily, I just google searched «basic life support» and this was the first place that had it. It was fairly close to my house, and it was scheduled for the the following weekend, so I went for it. It was for 9AM and the class was approximately 4 hours long for $ 50, which is what you should expect. My instructor, Tom, said that there are other courses that are more expensive and range from 6 – 7 hours, so I’m glad that I could take this class and save time & money.
The class starts off in the beginning pretty basic. The book that you get seems really dense and confusing at first, but things are summarized real well by Tom, if that is who you have. He skips a lot of unnecessary stuff, which saves lots and lots of time. He makes you practice certain techniques adequately where you should be confident to apply them in the real world, if need be. Tom is a really nice guy and make the class fun. If you need tot take this class for any reason, I recommend taking it at this facility, and hopefully, you get it with Tom!
