John Tighe is a low life and unprofessional. He doesn’t train the workers correctly on the quality of work. Mr Tighe is lacking in customer service skills. his attitude extremely unprofessional, sub-​par and mediocre. He should be fired. Over a year ago wells fargo check #1148 & 1139 invoice # 25 676 and invoice # 24 736. My roof was refurbished by the company Professional Roofing Services because 3 tiles had fallen off. My community, Élan is run by Nevada Community Management. they hired prs to reattach the 3 fallen tiles PRS then suggested that the entire roof be refurbished. The old tiles were reused and new underlay for the price of $ 14,850 due to 3 tiles that needed to be reattached. During the entire refurbishment of my roof, my friends and family were here. One day we were outside & noticed the fireplace exhaust was extremely slanted. Prior to them working on the roof, it was straight. We informed the worker of this, he came down to look he agreed said he would correct this issue. He then went back onto the roof pulled left to right, pushed and pulled the entire fireplace exhaust out from the roof along with the interior part that goes into the attic. Then made it straight. We all noticed he also added more attic dormer vents that are much larger than the prior vents that were on my roof. The worker confirmed this by telling us it would make for better ventilation. Little did we know the fireplace exhaust was not attached correctly. This & the added dormer vents made everything from the outside, including attic insulation, fiberglass, off-​gas from the products used to on the roof, all enter my home to be recirculated by my hvac blower. interior of the home became very dusty. The dust sparkled. It was from the attic fiberglass. Weird smells in the house southwest gas came out many times. Had hvac companies come out, plumbers check the lines. My family and I suffered with chronic headaches, nausea, chest pains and sore throats. children in the house, a senior citizen and an infant. our dog throwing up and eventually it passed away We finally realized that our new illnesses were from the roof being worked on. We had contractors come out and found out that the water heater exhaust was not attached correctly and where it was attached to roof, it was leaking and the burn off from the natural gas water heater was going under the tile and going into the newly added dormer vent they installed right next to it which was not there prior. The fumes were coming into the attic, then traveling into the dislodged fireplace exhaust, whenever the landscapers would come by with with their gasoline leaf blowers. Our whole house would fill with these toxic, extremely poisonous, cancerous, gasoline fumes. We would have to leave our home. We had a contractor come out and found out the exhaust was not attached. We took pictures of this and have everything documented, even the phone calls we recorded. Eventually, after numerous attempts of trying to get this resolved and being told by PRS that they wont come down to check out anything. Being told that they cant tell us anything about our home and that we had to contact Debi Pike whom told us to call PRS we finally got John Tighe on the phone. he spoke down to us and he said he didn’t need to come out to my house to look at anything. He said that he doesn’t need to send anyone out and he denied any wrong doings and downplayed everything. He became irate and extremely hostile, cursing and hung up on us. Now we are here with a plastic bag wrapped around the dislodged chimney exhaust. The problem is still not corrected by PRS. Oh but john did send a roofing ninja to sneaky, sneaky reattach the water heater exhaust. They never thought we would have records of what was wrong with everything they did, right down to every call recorded. This company does not care to make sure that the work they do is done right. They don’t care about children the elderly a family getting poisoned and dog passing away. After a roof is done, they should make sure everything is sealed and connected correctly. Had an inspection done for minor issues on a Friday and was supposed to receive an email quote the following Monday or Tuesday at the latest. After three phone calls questioning where my email quote was and getting a multitude of excuses on their errors I still have not received a quote. With each call I heard «Oh, will get your email quote out to you directly that so-​and-​so who was supposed to do the email has just not gotten around to it yet». Well so-​and-​so still hasn’t done it and it’s been 11 days since my inspection. And no it’s not in my spam folder either. This company is the last I would ever trust to work on my roof. Surprised they’re still in business.

I booked an appointment for an estimate a week out on a Saturday between 8−10am. It is now 10:10 am and the the estimator «Gary“never showed up. Never gave me a courtesy call he was running late or wasn’t going to show. There’s nothing «professional» about this company. I just got off the phone with the receptionist and they told me they can next fit me in on Monday. What is that? I canceled and will be calling another company. What a waste of time.

The owner called after reading my review. Based on our discussion, it seems that there was a combination of a slight miscommunication from the estimator, and also just an effort to get my job done. She was very nice and based on our conversation I dont think there was anything shady going on.
Assuming their quote for the job is competitive, I will be calling PRS to do my job (once I recover from the post-​Xmas cash crunch).
I do appreciate the owner calling me to discuss this situation.
