I’m a little biased, perhaps, but PLAN takes on the forces that have helped make Nevada one of the sickest, most poorly educated and, for working families, poorest states in the nation. Changing the culture of exploitation — both of people and natural resources — in favor of making the rich richer is making us all less safe and less healthy, and PLAN takes that issue on through work at the local, state and federal levels.
Ultimately, it’s about building a more society that values economic, environmental and social justice.
