I know I’m never going to find another dentist office like the one I had in Chicago, where they had a masseuse to give you a chair massage after, and a hand paraffin treatment during, and offered choices of music via headphones and movies and baked bread in the mornings so the office would be welcoming.
But this place was pretty damn good. This was my first visit. They were able to fit me in within 2 days of my call and were accommodating to my schedule. They were on time, efficient, and thorough. Saw a whole panel of folks, including Dr. Sharma, and each one was very kind and very knowledgeable. Seemed to up to date with current technology. Didn’t try to oversell anything. The office felt classy and clean.
I only wish there were evening or weekend appointments available.

I received dental work here about a year and a half ago and was given poor service. Well now that I have moved the work I paid thousands for has fallen apart. I now am being told I meat pay for the service all over again. When I called them they advised I visit them for them to take a look at it. Angie or Angela was extremely rude and I advised I fly to Nevada for them to look at it.

I hadn’t been to the dentist in 3+ years because of a bad experience at a dentistry «chain.» It finally caught up to me as I had terrible tooth pain a couple weeks back. When the pain because too much to ignore, I called the first number in my insurance book and made an appointment with Dr Sharma.
She’s great. She was gentle, she knows what she’s talking about, and didn’t push my limits of pain. She sent me to an endodontist for the actual canal, but she took a molding for my crown (which I’m getting on this week) and gave me pain medication and antibiotic to hold me over.
On top of the excellent dentistry, her staff is awesome. I believe Leah has helped me the most. She’s on top of it, made sure I understand the charges I’m responsible for, and what’s covered by my insurance. Best of all, she showed a genuine interest in the fact that I told her I had somewhere to be after my upcoming appointment and that she told me she would put it in the notes so that they’ll do their best to get me out on time.
I can’t speak about other Doctors at this location, but Dr Sharma and her staff are top notch.

I love this place!!! 6 months ago I came in in agonizing pain because my wisdom tooth was impacted and I had an infection in the tooth next to it. I have no dental insurance so I was freaking out about rather or not they could help me. They told me the problem and they told me the cost and I couldn’t afford that so I was prepared to leave.
The business manager then started working her magic and next thing you know they got the figures down to a very reasonable price! I got on a payment plan but it was so awesome I started crying. If I had to rate how much pain I was in that day I’d say a 20. They were able to squeeze me in right away and I was able to have my surgery the next day after the consult. I just had my 6 month check-​up yesterday and same friendliness as last time. I feel that they really care about you and I’d recommend anyone to go there!

Great staff! Very clean and I love how up to date technology wise they are. State of the art equipment.

Dr. Gabriel is the best! I chipped a front tooth pretty badly over the weekend and Dr. Gabriel got me in right away! He did such a great job filling it, you can’t even tell it was ever broken. I would highly recommend this office and their friendly staff!

AMAZING! My husband required an emergency Endodontist appt, and Silverado Dental Group went above and beyond to accommodate us late on a Friday afternoon before spring break. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!

I do not agree with the negative comments. The costs are fair and the staff is friendly, including the dentists. I had my first root canal with this office and it went great! I was very nervous, but they made me feel safe and comfortable. I will recommend my friends and family here!

I’m going to disagree with all the negative reviews of this office. And I find it funny only the negative reviews are shown — that’s crap. Apparently this office has had some dentist turn-​over due to trying to get past the bad apples. I applaud them for not wasting time with staff that doesn’t cut it.
The new male dentist has been there a year and is great! He is straight forward and honest. Dental treatment isn’t cheap, we all know that. I personally am willing to pay what is necessary to have a nice healthy mouth. Keep up with what the doc says and you don’t end up needing thousands of dollars of treatment. If you don’t take care of your teeth don’t be surprised that they need some help. I have had many fillings but thankfully no root canals or crowns yet (fingers crossed). I’m not a dentist and defer to the ones who attended years of schooling.
The front office gals are super friendly and very helpful. If you don’t feel the treatment you’ve been told you need is something you can afford right then they are more than helpful in spacing it out if you ask. They weren’t pushy and luckily they take pretty much every insurance out there.
I for one will continue being a patient and am glad I didn’t let grouchy people’s reviews sway me!

This is my first and only Unilocal review, but I HAVE to share my disturbing experience with this dentist office. My experience is extremely similar to Michele H.‘s below. After 2 years of putting up with rude and snobby hygienists who coerced me into purchasing a $ 500 night guard, prescribed me muscle relaxants (which I never filled), and tried to tell me that I was developing gingivitis, my final visit, in December 2013 was an extremely distressing experience. I was told by the new female dentist that there was some very serious decay going on in almost all of my molars, and if I didn’t take a day off of work within the next week to undergo some very expensive procedures, then I would need a root canal in the near future. She was very rude and condescending and forced me to make an appointment immediately. I requested that the office send my Xrays to my childhood dentist in Michigan, who my family members and I have all been seeing for the last two decades. They immediately got defensive and questioned why I would want a second opinion. They eventually agreed to send the Xrays, but they never actually sent them. Luckily, I ended up cancelling my appointment and never had these procedures done.
I am writing this review 7 months later because today I went and visited my Michigan dentist. It turns out that there is absolutely nothing wrong with any of my teeth or gums — not one single cavity, and the nightguard was completely unnecessary.
PLEASE no one else go to this corrupt, unprofessional office! They should be shut down!

I hadn’t seen a dentist in almost 2 years so I made an appointment here. After getting my X-​rays done, I met with the dentist and he told me that I needed over $ 3,000 in work done (this was after insurance. before insurance it was $ 10,000). He told me I had gum disease, needed a crown, and many other things and that I needed the work done as soon as possible. He got very defensive when I questioned why it was so high which was the first indicator that this guy is shady.
I immediately left and called my dentist back in Oregon who I have seen my entire life. I just returned from my trip home to see him and he confirmed that I do NOT have gum disease and only needed 2 fillings. He looked at Dr. Tobler’s recommendation and almost all of of it was so unnecessary. He was appalled that a dentist would ever recommend the things that he did for me.
I can’t belive that any dentist office could get away with recommending things that aren’t necessary and scaring people into thinking they need more work done than they do. But apparently I’m not the first one that this has happened to. I am SO happy I got a second opinion before I gave them my money.

Can I give this place zero stars? I so would. I could write a negative book on this place.
So my friend two years ago recommended this place. I went for almost two years, they were always on time and suited my needs. But they started getting shady about 6 months ago. A different doctor every time. Well when I just went in December I had a new male dentist who said the other was let go. Then he started treating me like an imbecile and showed no good bedside manner. He acted like he knew so much and was rude about the x-​rays when I probably can read them better than him! Then he asked if I cared about my health when I questioned how all of a sudden I needed $ 6000 of work when I go every three months. Um really? Can I curse in my review?
So one part he said was emergency so I asked how long it would take and scheduled accordingly within my schedule. Going on good faith as I do care about my health. When I showed up it was again a different dentist, they gave me a different price and said it would take a minimum of twice as long. Um I am not a fool, a random doing invasive work! No thank you! I walked out getting nothing done and went for a second opinion somewhere else! Glad I did as what they said was an emergency was far from it!
They then did that to others I know who have now left too as are they just trying to increase a bill? I was also told when questioned by these people about theirs similar to my case they denied what happened. I would not recommend this place and advise you to avoid it like the plague! Especially if you do care about your health!

Technology and humanity at it’s very best! Why would anyone want to pay the same amount of money or more for a crown and go thru the hassle of impressions, multiple visits, temp crowns that fall off and countless pain and suffering when you can go to Ranch Plaza and get same day Cerec crowns. Absolutely Brilliant!

Best dental office my family and I have been to in Las Vegas. They are very professional and have the most advanced technology. We are very satisfied with this office. We never wait long and they always take time to answer all of our questions.
Dr. Norton is a UNLV graduate, also. I’m proud to also be a UNLV graduate. Dr. Norton represents success produced by our own community. That’s just cool. ;-)

I was cautious making an appointment due to the bad reviews, but deiced to give them a change because they were owned by the same corporation as Shadow Mountain Dental my former dentist. I have to say that I’m more than pleased with their customer service and pricing. I’m an IT GEEK so I insist on the latest technology even from my dentist, and Ranch Plaza Dental Group has met my expectations. They were able to get me right in for an exam followed up by a cleaning and two filling repairs all within two hours. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was jolly, and service was top notch! I’m going to sign up my kids and Girlfriend for Exams/​cleanings. I’ll let my fellow Unilocalers know how things go.

Poor customer service and don’t count on Dr Norton for emergency’s. They state emergency calls but this is only advice by telephone to goto the hospital. DON’T GO HERE !!!

Go here because they will take care of you and Liza is the best Dental Hygienist in Las Vegas! I used to hate the dentist and now I have a great time going here.

Positively disappointing customer service. You can be the only person sitting in the waiting room and you will still be waiting to be called 30 min after your scheduled appointment. This has happened to me on more than one occassion. Time for a new dentist.
