I went here a few weeks ago to have them fix my hair color. I had done cap highlights and the highlights had turned a little orange in certain areas(My stylist had moved back to Cali and I had no recommendations at the time and found the salon while driving). Let me just say, I asked for a color correction and cut and what I got was a hair dye, a few foils of highlights and an atrocious cut. The color in the book in no way matched the color on my head. My hair looked like a creamsicle. Orange with white blonde highlights. It was really bad. Think LeLu in the move The Fifth Element. To make matters worse, the«layered» haircut was literally three distinct tiers. I had to pay over $ 200 just to get this fixed and when I asked them to refund the $ 50(odd number for all that work and didn’t include the $ 25 «tip» — yes, I left the salon with wet hair and didn’t see the megga crazy until I got home) I got no response. I even sent them pictures of the color and cut and had my color specialist include images of the uneven cut. To boot, I’ve never written a bad review before and this experience actually led me to create an account just to warn anyone away from them. It was a truly terrifying experience. I had long hair and now due to that atrocious cut and how it had to be fixed it only grazes my shoulders. I have to admit I actually cried when I got home and my roommate suggested I buy a wig.

For 12 bucks you can’t ask for much more. The place is clean, you don’t usually wait too long and 80% of the stylists are top notch. If you are unbelievably cheap and 12 dollars is way too much they have punch cards and will send you email coupons which is kinda ridiculous. I can recommend Summer and Gina wholeheartedly as they both do a wonderful job. Gina is wonderfully pleasant while Summer has almost a Robin-Williamsesque pace of entertaining wittiness. Several other stylists are excellent too but their names currently escape me. Apparently they do extensions too. I have yet to require this service.

I went there once when they first opened and never again. I was always looking for a hair salon that does great work but at good prices. Before I was at ulta salon, I liked the staff but gotten sick of paying those high prices for a simple touch up and hair cuts(I was a starving student). When I found this place, it was offering $ 12(or something like that) as a basic price. I went in there for a simple bang trim, thinking I would be charge less for a touch up. But I was charged the basic price. I argued about it but they wouldn’t accommodate me. So I paid and never to be seen again at that place.

why this place has poor ratings… puzzles me for years Keisha(no longer works here) colored, highlighted, styled and cut my hair like a pro she is now Gina my young spunky sweetheart is fast, fun, trendy and I just love her they do not take appointments so if you want Gina come in a few minutes before she starts and you will get her while writing this, she is doing my very very long hair about the last six inches into level ombré, I will post pics :)

I went to this salon a month ago and will NEVER be back. I just moved to the area and thought a simple trim and all-over haircolor would be an easy enough thing to have done at this salon. THETRIM: My hair was midway down my back and had long layers. I asked for a SMALL trim… one that just cut off the split ends. When I left, my hair was 4 inches shorter, my layers were above my shoulders and had been cut STRAIGHT across. no blending to be seen! Luckily for the girl, she blew out my hair and I couldn’t tell how bad it was until I got home or there would have been a major issue when I was there! THECOLOR: I have platinum blonde hair which is obtained obviously through bleaching. The important thing about bleaching roots is that you minimize contact with your scalp since it is very abrasive. This girl painted the bleach DIRECTLY onto my scalp… THEWHOLETHING! It started burning immediately like my skin was being peeled off. When I got up from the dryer and told the girl my head was on fire, she gave me a comb and said«Here, itch it with this». I asked her to wash it out and left… Don’t have anything done to your hair here. These people do not know hair. I could cut and dye someone’s hair better.

Best customer service ever. I had to order some hair for a client last minute and they were so helpful ad even let me speak to a stylist on the phone about their hair. The hair was excellent also and match my clients hair. I will definetly order from them again :) A+ service!

I had to waited more than a week to write this review. The girl there absolutely F-ed up my hair. My long locks were in layers & almost down to my butt and she trimmed the longest layer & asked if I wanted anymore taken off. I said yes, trim the layers & make my hair thinner. Maybe I scared her too badly by saying don’t cut them too short. But somehow she trimmed my shorter layer straight across. Really???

Let us start with the basic rule here for most reviews, DONOTPOST A REVIEWONTHEFIRSTDAYOFYOUREXPERIENCE. Yes, my first week or so was amazing, I loved it. But I was simply in the honeymoon phase. It all went down hill from there. Absolute worst part, ITCHYITCHYITCHY! I think the moisture that was held in from the bonds was causing scalp irritation. I had my hair in for about a month IFTHAT, and I did everything the girl told me to do to maintain it. I was very very good with all the maintenance of the hair because after spending money like that I didn’t want to lose it. 3 weeks of having the hair it went completely dry and was getting knotted and tangled every 5 minutes no matter how much of the smoothing serum I used. I called to ask about it and she told me I must of been doing something wrong. It’s not rocket science, I was doing everything right. Today, I took them all out. To help you guys out, I bought a shampoo from sally’s that cost 3 dollars and all the hair and glue came out wonderfully. Save your money please, it really isn’t worth it. Even those two weeks of joy that I did have I would of rather taken my money and did something else with it.
