Refreshed Shoe Cleaner

One of the sales associates lured my boyfriend in to the kiosk and offered to clean his shoe, while cleaning my boyfriends shoe the associate noticed a spot on my right shoe and said it would work on mine as well… so he proceeded to clean the spot. My boyfriends shoe came out looking really good but my boyfriend said he wanted to see how the product dried up and if it did so nicely we would come back to purchase the kit. We walked around the mall some and I noticed the spot he cleaned on my shoe was showing come kind of yellowish/​brownish discoloration and I thought it just wasn’t dry yet, after giving it more time the spot wasn’t going away. We go back to the kiosk and show the associate and he said it was probably the towel he used cause it was new and possibly still bleeding, and he will just clean the whole shoe will a different brush and towel and it would be fine. To make a long story short the shoe didn’t dry up nicely now my whole shoe (nike free run 5.0) are damaged. Although my boyfriends red vans came out looking good I wouldn’t recommend this product on white mesh shoes possibly no white shoes at all. Its disappointing that the associates don’t know what the product is safe to use on. And from reading other reviews I can see I am not the first victim. Now I have to go through the troubles to finding a way to restore my shoe but I doubt it will ever be the same.

Yesterday I was in the Las Vegas Premium outlets and was approached by one of the sales pitchers for the product. He cleaned my shoes and was talking about how it would brighten, waterproof, clean my shoes. As he was done, he was surprised himself that my shoe had unequal colors and that some parts of my shoe is actually discolored. My shoe was a «Gold Trophy» Roshe run with a suede mid and a mesh top. I was able to fix it with some water and laundry soap but the discoloration on the mesh part is still there and I’m very disappointed. I had just gotten this shoe last week and had cost me $ 250 as they are one of the rarest shoe of its kind. Also, as I further inspected the shoe the mesh threads was loosened very noticeably because of the harsh brushing that the employee gave on the mesh. I was severely disappointed. The employee even asked me for a tip and when I said I’ll only give him $ 5 because the product didn’t really impress me. He discolored my shoe, loosened my shoe, and just made my new shoes look old. I was boiling point mad and he still had the audacity to ask me for a tip, when I gave him the 5 he starts to explain on how he just makes money through commission and I still proceeded to give him 5 dollars. If I was able to give 0 stars I would because my shoes are forever damaged and I just paid someone $ 5 dollars to do it.

I love this stuff. Works great all the time on all and everything. The sales reps were very informative on what it works on and how. And even gave me a great deal. At the end of the pitch I felt as if he was my friend and actually cared about my belongings.

This guy called me out because he noticed a stain on my J’s =(I was really sad about it the other night so I decided to give it a chance. Being that I collect shoes and love to keep them fresh the idea of having an effective cleaner came to my mind. My shoes were suede so I was kinda scared at first but after talking through the process with one of the helpful shoeologist I knew I was being taking care of. He showed me how to clean all my shoes and even cleaned both my shoes for FREE. I recommend this to all shoe fanatics and also people who just like to save $.
