Best customer service in town! Super clean both locations! Louie and Gary are super friendly, not pushy. And now they have chryotherapy, which is helping with my bad knee! The guys are very professional and knowledgable. Much more personal feel to it opposed to some of the bigger chains around. There’s different price points and they make sure you’re aware of deals. Love it here!

Awesome first experience at Rio Tan! Tony was helping me understand the tanning booths and took the time to recommend a package that was best suited for me. I love that you can buy packages of minutes instead of sessions, which makes perfect sense and works out better for customers. I haven’t tanned in a few months so I can only tan a few minutes during my first few sessions. By using up minutes, I feel like I’m not wasting up a whole session and I’m not wasting my money. I love the long hours they have which are super convenient for my schedule. Very nice, spacious facility and super clean! Thanks Tony!!!

I have been going to RIO TAN all most 2 years now. I find this to be the best in the west. Awesome friendly staff, extremely clean, great location, incredible hours & amazing offers to meet every budget.

$ 99 for unlimited spray tans. Body-​heat tanning is only $ 70. I personally like Rio’s at home family business feel, as Bodyheat is owned by a man who also owns planet fitness, so he’s very corporate. The only problem with family owned businesses is they price gauge, like the $ 99 for spray tans.

Rio Tan cares about customer satisfaction! My daughter scheduled an appointment to get a spray tan right before leaving on a trip. When she came home with no visible change in skin tone (at all!) we returned the same day and encountered the manager (perhaps owner?) He immediately assumed responsibility and indicated that at the time my daughter did her spray tan the machine had probably not been adequately primed and ready to use. Without question he let her redo her spray tan free of charge or suspicion. He wanted to make sure she was happy. He was friendly and professional — and above all — HONEST. This is who I wish to do business with. I highly recommend this location for a great spray tan. It is clean and obviously has management that care about pleasing their customers!

I started swimming again thanks to one to many «old football injuries» and since it’s hard to swim in a 2 piece and I certainly don’t want to be seen in one… I ended up with what a friend called the «oreo» tan. Dark on top and bottom and white in the middle!
I never thought I would try tanning bed or spray on tan but I finally broke down and tried Rio Tan and one of it’s competitors. I’m not sure I could tell the difference in the tanning bed. They both had the same one. Tanning booth… by the time I tried Rio I had a much better base tan so it was also hard to tell.
The really big difference is that I think the person I worked with was the owner and not just an employee clocking in and clocking out. He was polite, attentive, and in general just pleasant to work with.
I’m waiting for a special that meets my needs and then I’m definitely going back!

Rio Tan is always clean and organized. The staff is very friendly. The prices are great if you buy a package. There are many different options for beds and spray tans.
This place has really long hours. Opens at 8am daily and doesn’t close till 2am or midnight.
Convenient location by Viva Salon, Best Nails, Jimmy Johns, Acai to the T, and Costco.

This is the best place that I have found to tan. The staff is professional and friendly. The beds are very clean. I have gone twice so far and I am already seeing substantial color from their top of the line tanning beds! Definitely a great place!

This is a great place to tan! I went to check this place out based on Unilocal reviews and left a little darker than when I came in. First of all, Tony was amazing! He was super friendly, funny, knowledgeable and just a pretty cool guy to deal with. Bryant was also great the second time I went for a tan! Second, the beds are all very good beds, I used the King bed up front and was darker in one tan… for a bed that does not burn your skin, that was a nice surprise… Ive been to other tanning salons where they pushed the non burn beds on you and had basically no results even after three tans (poof! there goes three tans for nothin’!) Third, you buy the tans by the minute… I like that because all you lose are minutes, not tan sessions… some places you will go in and tan for 5 minutes or 12 minutes and you are down 1 session regardless. Tony gave me a great new customer discount on the package I purchased and a good deal on some tanning lotion as well as a coupon in the mail for an introductory% off of packages and merchandise on my next visit. Thank you for your great customer service guys!

My favorite tanning salon. I’ve been bed tanning for a couple of years in Vegas Seattle and even France and this place is by far the best. The staff is super friendly and know everything about the beds and products (not having that annoying girl on her phone at the counter who doesn’t know how anything works is something very rare in these places.) They have great CLEAN beds (lay down and stand up) and Versaspa. The location on Grand Canyon isn’t open very late but there’s another on Charleston that’s open until 2 or 3 am that I go to
when I get off work late that’s has the same great atmosphere. Wouldn’t go anywhere else in Vegas!

Clean, clean, clean. I don’t care how dirt cheap your membership is I don’t like the idea of knowing there may be stripper ass sweat still on the bed I’m about to lay on. Good beds, never had bulbs out or anything. Ive only seen guys at the front desk, they’re always cool, and friendly, you never get the vibe that you are interrupting their facebook time. They sell lotions and protein powers, but Ive never bought from there so i don’t know about the prices.

Where do I start? I’ve been going since it was called Tan Las Vegas. Dan knows my name. Never forgets it. Never have to remind him. He’s nice! Really. He never pushes anything. Never tries to talk me into anything either. Amazingly knowledgable about everything in the store… and surprisingly in his competitors stores too. He can tell you the pros & cons of any bed. His or his competitors. He’s honest enough to admit if the competition had a «cooler, better bed… But will quickly offer to set you up in a better bed than I may be using at that point. :)
The interior of the salon is CLEAN as well as the BEDS!!!
He has a ton of tanning lotions & after sun products.

I’m not a weekly visitor… I come and go… but it doesn’t matter… It’s like visiting an old friend!!!

Rio Tan is the only place I go to if I need to catch some quick rays. I don’t use tanining beds too often, but when I do I come here.
They have pretty good beds and they seem to keep the bulbs changed properly. Whenever I go there the beds are always blazing hot, so I would guess that means the bulbs are good. I am not an expert on tanning beds, but I get dark. That is good enough for me.
You have a choice of a few different types of beds when you tan here. Like I said, I am not an expert on tanning beds so I just go in the stand up that is supposed to have the high powered bulbs. 2 minutes is the maximum amount of time for the stand up tanner I use, which is plenty. Sometimes I just go for six minutes and that is plenty of time to get me dark.
This place is expensive, but that does not matter to me. I only go there maybe twice a month at the most and I don’t use up my minutes that fast. Plus the place is clean!
I don’t actually recommend tanning to anyone because I do not think it is healthy for your skin, but if you are going to use tanning beds check this place out.
