Dr. Lobato is a native Nevadan. He graduated from Bonanza High School. He attended the University of Nevada at Las Vegas.

He then attended Marquette University — School of Dentistry for four years. He graduated in 1992. He has been in a private, general dentistry practice since this time in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He designed and built his present office in 1999. He is passionate about dentistry, his family, and continuing education.

He is known for his tender caring approach for children in his practice. Coming from a large extended family has given him the gift of being able to relate in a gentle-​hearted manner toward our senior patients.

I feel like they misled me and misrepresented charges, so now I can’t trust them and would not recommend their services.
Went for my first cleaning/​exam over 6 months ago. Everything went great, seemed very thorough. They did recommend sealant but as an adult I didn’t feel that was necessary. They also did some sort of evaluation that measured tooth density I think — honestly can’t remember, it was something I’d never had done, and it was a little over my head. I think they said one of the teeth had less density than the others and could cause problems down the road, so we needed to watch it. 6 months later (July) I go back for my second cleaning. At this appointment they ask if I’m going to have the cavity repaired that they mentioned at my first cleaning. I had no recollection of them mentioning a cavity, just the recommended sealant. I’ve NEVER had a cavity (at 24 years old) and I take good care of my teeth, if they had mentioned a cavity it would have stuck out to me! Regardless I scheduled a cavity appointment, and was given an estimate for $ 115 for the sealants and filling. I was also given the impression they had cleared it with my insurance and that my complete payment would be $ 115. About 2 weeks later I have the cavity at this appointment. Since at this point I’m still unsure that I have a cavity (as I’ve never had one and hadn’t had any symptoms of one), I ask them to show me. All she brings up is the «density» thing from last time as her «proof.» I naively went along with it.
This week I received a bill from them for $ 230, because my insurance didn’t cover the sealants. I call my insurance, they tell me they never cover sealant on any one over $ 15 so that the dentist misrepresented that. I call and speak to Cynthia, she agrees — that insurance doesn’t cover sealant on an adult. I remind her that they had given me the impression that insurance would cover, and now I’m being charged an additional $ 230. She offered that I could make payments. I asked if that was the best she could do, and she brought it down to $ 180. Not very impressed. I won’t be returning. And I will always call by insurance myself prior to procedures.

This office may be on the other side of town for me but so worth the travel time. When my entire family raves about something or someone it must be GREAT! The kindness and genuine concern that everyone in their office has is amazing. I feel that it’s not about the money here it’s about what you need and there is no pressure. Awesome Dentist, awesome staff, and awesome location. I took my wife here to get a check up and despite having some financial difficulties, the staff here and dentist are excellent.
My wife and I signed a bunch of paperwork and while waiting the Receptionist was very polite and friendly, the entire staff in fact was great to be very truthful. Regardless of where we may go or if we can stay with this Dr, which I truly hope we can, all I can say is you have to experience everything yourself to see that the truth is they care and take there time with each person.
Well worth the money, time, and patience.

I’ve been going to Dr. Lobato for years. I changed dentists for a brief time when my office location moved to the opposite side of town and never had the postive experience I had at Dr. Lobato’s. He is an effective doctor and makes a visit to the dentist a pleasurable experience, ESPECIALLY for going to the dentist. His office and staff are friendly and most important, timely. The longest I have ever had to wait is less than 10 minutes and I have never had to return to have any work revisited or corrected. I’ll be a customer and patient for life. Craig Tomlinson

I found this dr from checking out Unilocal reviews… Even with the great reviews, I was still hesitant. I have not found a great dentist like this in maybe 15 years. It was easy to find, great reserved parking for convenience, beautiful office and super friendly staff. The doctor was incredible. I came in for a cracked tooth and he took the time to get me in and treated quickly. The tooth needed more work than we initially thought and he made sure it was perfect. His passion for dentistry, his staff and his patients was pleasure to witness. It’s nice to find a dentist that you don’t dread going to. It sounds silly but I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Dr Lobato and his staff get a solid five star from this satisfied customer. In pain and in need I found myself in his office and received excellent care. Gentle expertise was in full effect. Don’t know what the rest of you are used to from your dental pros but this was a pleasant surprise for me. Excellent dentist and demeanor.

Amazing staff and Dr. Lobato is just an outstanding dentist. He truly cares about his patients and what I like is that HE personally reaches out to check on his patients after he does a procedure just to make sure they are okay. I’ve been to many dentists throughout my life and hands down… he is the best. If I could rate him a 10… I definitely would. Mindy is awesome and cares for his just as much… in fact, she just called to check in on me while posting this review.

I love love love this Dentist & his entire staff. After I was literally broken from head to toe, Dr. Lobato did an amazing job of creating temporary teeth (front!) and a detailed plan of action for incredibly extensive repair work needed to make my teeth look & function well again.
Prior to this injury, I’d never had more than a filling and am nervous about dental procedures, so we use sedation (and a driver) to allay my anxiety. The entire staff is warm and kind and was so understanding in helping a Domestic Violence survivor feel & look human again.
He worked for nearly four hours basically building new front teeth for me out of fillings because I was horrified at the thought of walking around (and due to the nature of my work, appearances count) with broken teeth till he determined the roots had not died from impact of accident.
Should mention that I had a fingertip to elbow cast, head to toe severe lacerations, a broken nose & 3 broken ribs when he performed this dental miracle. Part of the time the cast was in his lap. He & Patty made me comfortable as possible, even providing a blanket crocheted by Dr L’s Mom for warmth. He is a true artist, using only the best materials and I couldn’t have hoped for better results.
This is not a factory that pushes you in & out. They don’t gouge for money, rather offer discounts and even helped to find benefits I didn’t know I had. I’m always asked how I’m progressing in all areas related to both the accident and basically psycho: social history in general.
It is still a long road until all of my work is complete, October will be 2 years since the incident. They gladly fit you in for emergencies and the office itself is clean, welcoming & friendly.
