I’ve had two great experiences with Rocky Top in the past month. Jim had not only the necessary parts to make my HK receiver operational, but a great replacement cassette deck available for purchase (and at a great price) when the one I brought in was no longer worth repairing. Rocky Top is also quick about letting you know what’s wrong with the equipment you bring in, and fixing said equipment. This is my stereo-​repair go-​to from here on out.

This place is a old school Vegas hidden gem, Jim knows his electronics and will service them honestly. I have taken many items to them (amplifiers /​powered speakers) and all have been promptly returned to working condition. if you are in need of electronics that have any value and are in need of repair, this is the place.

I just got back my niles amplifier it took awhile but thats cuz parts are difficult to find but it came out real nice he does very good work and he gives u your old parts back too im very satisfied and i highly recommend rocky top to all my friends

my experience at Rocky Top was very nice I have an old Sansui aMp receiver that I’ve had for 25 years I was told from another repair shop to just throw it away but at Rocky Top they knew all about it and were very professional and fixed it promptly I couldn’t be happier thank you so much

I had such an amazing experience at Rocky Top. I had a vintage KLH twenty plus stereo system that they completely repaired – I then had another issue and they painstakingly found this problem too — they probably spent days trying to diagnose and only charged me for the parts on the second visit. They are knowledgeable and are good people too!

I had an old JVC amp from the 80s that made it to 2012 before anything happened, so I consider it a reliable piece of machinery worthy of a repair vs a thrift store. Though it took a while to get the parts, this small business did a great repair. There was a $ 25 inspection fee up front, and they would not do any work until they gave an estimate and got an ok so there were no unexpected costs. When I picked up my machine The owner included a baggy of all the parts he took out and replaced and walked me through his work. I really appreciate the local, hands on business vs sending something away to an unknown corporate workshop.
