Sahra Spa & Hammam

Beautiful amenities. Subpar massage. The massuese started on my butt and remained there for some time, even though i told him my traps and neck were my problem areas. After a brief moment on my back, he went back to massage my butt. WTH?! Also he was SOOO chatty and loud. The massage was anything but relaxing. It was actually a disappointment. I think i will have to head to massage envy to get my traps worked on.

Over priced. Massage therapist just went through the the motion even after I requested stronger hand. After 2 and ½ hours, I wish I should have just spent some quarters on a massage chair in the airport. Turkish Hammam is a joke and counterfeit (I had one while in Israel before). I actually caught a cold after the Moroccan Journey, the $ 400 plus tip ultimate Turkish Hammam treatment Cosmo offers, which if it is the real deal should make you sweat. The one I had in Israel I had to get outside to cool off. I wish I had read the comments here on Unilocal before I did it. The first impression of the facility can be deceiving. I took a shower and came face to face to gross hairs left on the wall by previous customers. Obviously they don’t clean it? Lesson learned: just because you spend too dollars no guarantee of any improvement on your life. You could spend top dollars to catch a cold. Sniff sniff cough cough, as I type this. You are warned.

I love coming to Sahra. The facilities are very well kept with great amenities — the shampoo/​conditioner/​body wash are great along with the lotions and hair products (Unite brand). I recently had the Sahra Select 2 — Balance/​Harmony massage and Luxury Lift facial. Brandy was my masseuse and Jessica was my facialist — both were awesome! Everyone there is so friendly. This is a great way to relax after a weekend of partying.

I’m very unsatisfied from their service. I asked for highlights and I got orange highlights. 2^nd time I got yellow dark highlights. If you are looking for blonde platinum high lights don’t go to this place. 4 hours spent my time my money. I’m very sad I was expecting from a 5 star hotel to do a good job but not.. Instead of eating breakfast with my friends I had to stay for two hours in order to fix the orange ugly highlights. I showed her a picture on purpose and asked specifically for exactly what I want. Is it so difficult to do blonde highlights??? I do it all the time. I was expecting from a 5 star hair salon to do what I asked for, but didn’t get at all what I asked for.
Next time I’m definitely not going to this place. I don’t understand why hair dressers claim to be experts in highlights and they don’t even know how to do highlights.

Thank you Leyna for working your magic with those strong hands and finger unknotting my neck, shoulder and back. It was the most relaxing spa treatment I’ve ever experienced ()! The facility was clean to the «T» and offers all the amenities you need for a royal spa day. Well worth every dollar spent because I feel so GOOD!

Stayed at Cosmo and decided to utilize their gym and came to the Sahra Spa afterwards for some relaxation. They have a beautiful jacuzzi area, with a steam room and suana, but the cool mist room was terrific!
After some relaxation, I decided to get a massage. I was lucky enough to have Brandy as my therapist. After my message, enjoyed some nice fruits, trail mix and some juice.
A+, and I will be back!

Everyone is friendly while still having that over the top spa friendliness/​hospitality. You have everything you need and it’s clothing optional so no worries if you forget something. Enjoyed the jacuzzi and steam room and checked out the sauna before my facial. They also had a cool mist room to come down from all the warmth.
My aesthetician was great, Kasha. I picked the facial w all the bells and whistles but after talking w me she suggested a comparably priced service that better fit my needs and it was just as relaxing.
Took advantage of the showers and vanity space w product afterwards and left feeling ready for the day

Wow what a great experience.. Seriously amazing.. I had a 25 min massage it was great I wish I would’ve just gotten the hour.. If you want to unwind and relax this spa is an awesome place.

I had a difficult time selecting a spa to go to in Vegas, there are so many options. I finally settled on the spa in the hotel we were staying at because a lot of spa’s I looked at required that you be a hotel guest. From what I saw online, the Sahra didn’t look very lux but more natural and that was a little disappointing, however the reviews all raved about the services. That summed up my experience as well. I had a hydra-​facial with an add on peel and it was marvelous from start to end. The treatment room was tranquil and calming, I wanted to stay there all day, no all month, I never wanted to leave. My esthetician did a wonderful job and she was so sweet. After my facial, I sat in the lounge and waited for my mom while I drank some delicious infused water. Once she finished her treatment, we toured the facilities to see what else was available to us and it was pretty disappointing — a large indoor Jacuzzi and a steam room. We were planning on making a day out of it, I thought we’d do some yoga, lie by the pool and maybe get a salad for lunch but there was no pool, fitness room or dining options. I highly recommend this spa for a facial but not a spa day.

First off, the service was 4 stars but the facility was small so I’m giving it an overall review of three stars. As mentioned by several people, they do add an automatic 20% tip to your total which I was fine with. Also, when you call they do let you know that you should show up at least ½ and hour before your scheduled appointment time to get set up in the locker room.
I was waffling between the Cosmopolitan spa or the Mandarin Oriental spa for my birthday but I decided on the Sahra when I saw they had the bathing rituals. I tried the Red Flower Bathing Ritual which included a scrub, a soak in the personal bubble jetted tub in the room, and then lotion application. This was 50 minutes but there was also an option for 80 minutes that included a massage which I did not try. It was very relaxing and everything smelled wonderful. They do scrub and lotion your midsection but I’m sure they would skip it if this was an issue with you.
The only complaint I have about this is that the tub could have been much warmer. They run the water while you’re getting scrubbed and it was alright temperature wise when I got in it but when she turned on the jets it cooled down quickly and felt like cold water from the jets. It was a little too late to say anything because the tub would have had to have been drained some to add more hot water. While still plenty relaxing, if you like a hot soak then make sure to mention it when you get into the room.
As has been mentioned in reviews the spa facility itself is small. Not Rio Spa small but probably a little smaller than Red Rock. The hair and make-​up room was off the locker room which was just a little past the attendant desk. Then the restrooms, showers, and waiting room were along the hall to the main spa area that included some loungers, a large single hot tub (which was a great temperature) and then the dry sauna, steam room, and a cool mist room. While nice and clean I was about done with trying everything in about 45 minutes. I then had some tea and waited for my service. While you have access the entire day, I did not stick around after my service. It is clothing optional which was good since I did not see a spinner for bathing suits so you would need to make sure to bring a bag for your wet suit if you wear one.
To sum up, I’ll probably be back for services and to try the Hammam but this is not a «get a spa pass for the day» type of spa like Caesar’s spa.

Beautiful spa facility with wood décor that is soothing and calming. The people working at the check-​in desk and locker room entrance were very pleasant and helpful. The womens locker room is clean and spacious, and the showers are clean. I got a 50 minute Essential Massage and a few minutes into it wished I had booked the 80 minute one. The massage was great and helped worked out the two scary knots in my back.
I loved using the hot jacuzzi pool, sauna room, and steam room. The showers are clean. The only negative is that the spa is very busy so there can be a lot of people in the locker room, and it can get a bit noisy. Overall, I had a really good experience here and would go back. The Cosmopolitan Hotel itself is fab, and this spa is fab right along with it.

Came in for a massage. The rooms are really pretty with a bath tub. Masseuse was great. My first aromatherapy massage. It was too gentle for me, I should have chose something different. What was nice is the massage felt like it lasted a long time. They only have granola and apples. They carry good hair products for straight, wavy, and heat protection. Several scents of lotion to choose from. 4 lounge chairs in the wet area. The one jacuzzi was decent. Jets are strong and bubbles also come up from the bench. My friends had a suite for their services. I was invited when their massage was over. The attendant walked me there. Really great room with small
Lounge bed and TV. The same tub. Has a private shower much nicer than the community area showers. Couldn’t figure out how to turn on the steam feature. All the drink options were available in the suite as well. It was her birthday so a gift and flowers were waiting for her in the suite from her friend. Staff here was really great and helped carry 3 large bouquets and a box all the way across the casino floor to the parking lot. Really grateful for that! The suite was my favorite about this particular spa.

My girlfriend and I booked a couples massage. We arrived a couple minutes before our booked time and were rushed through the preparation process, didn’t realized we should have arrived so far advance. After all of the changing and getting ready, going from locker room to massage suite, our massage still ended at 11. We paid $ 420, we rushed out, and for that I do not think our experience should have been cut short. It was our first time staying at the cosmopolitan, and we were really looking forward to the experience.
My girlfriend got the hot stone massage and enjoyed it. I got the recommended deep tissue athletic massage and was not impressed. I was relaxed but was not wowed. The masseuse was very nice and helpful.
Nobody said bye or thank you to us on the way out. However the people in the locker room were very friendly and willing to show us around. The set up and spa itself was very nice. The cool thing about it though was we were able to use the facility (sauna, steam room, mist room, jacuzzi, showers) all day long.
Next time we are back in Vegas we will definitely stay at the cosmopolitan, but probably use a spa at a different hotel.

In the mist of all the decadent (and not so healthy) food, booze, chic and glamours rooms, located on the 14^th floor of the west tower of Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is the calm, serene, yet luxurious oasis-​Sahra Spa & Hammam. After being greeted by the friendly receptionist, she directed me into the long, stonewalled hallway that led to the men’s section of this very spa.
The men’s section includes a locker room with customized 4-​digit lock, bathroom, individually curtained showers, a very beautiful Jacuzzi (with a waterfall,) dry sauna, steam sauna, as well as a cool mist room. It also features a very nice relaxing lounge that serves some refreshing tea, ice water, and nuts if you have any treatment appointments (such as their signature hammam experience.)
I took the advantage of their Sahra Select 2, which includes two treatments for the price of $ 295 plus tax (20% gratuity included!!) My therapist Mick was extremely courteous, he gave me the tour of the treatment rooms and patiently explained to me what’s going to happened during the treatments.
I also find the spa facility very comfortable, my treatment was at 10 AM, and they recommended me to arrive earlier to get familiarized with the facility. Plus, because of my treatments, I also get a free day-​pass, which I gladly utilized and returned around 5 PM before the dinner. During both periods, the entire place was not packed with many people. And yes, there’s always 2 – 3 males staffs on the floor to make sure everything is met with their standards, and they were very discreet and respectful.
After my experience, I was beyond exhilarated, knowing that my favorite hotel features such a nice and luxurious spa!

Ugh, I get frustrated just to think about Sahra. I didn’t receive the service I purchased, and I really couldn’t do much about it because like all other guests I had been asked to «pre-​tip.» That’s right, they tack an automatic 20% gratuity onto your services when you check in and if you didn’t like something you’ll never get the chance to mention it to them because it’s out the door with you after you’re done.
That all being said, the amenities were quite nice and I wouldn’t mind spending a couple of hours there, but I wouldn’t get a service again. I left feeling a bit tricked.

My lovely bridal party gifted me with a facial/​massage package. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist/​host and did not have to wait long for my services.
Both the masseuse and aesthetician were professional and courteous. The massage was divine and I appreciated the aesthetician letting me relax (doze off) during the facial.
Unfortunately, I woke up the next day with face swelling and hives — contact dermatitis. Now, almost two weeks following the facial, my skin still hasn’t fully returned to normal. I’m definitely not new to facials and have not experienced anything like this after other facials so I don’t want to say that my facial at Sahra is definitely the reason for what happened to my face. Perhaps it was the Vegas air or water? However, I definitely suggest that you look into which products they are using to avoid any adverse skin reaction.

To celebrate a milestone birthday, we decided to book spa reservations at Sahra and Hammam at the Cosmo. While looking online, I notice they have a spa suite, never seen that before, and find out it is the only one in Vegas. So, i book the suite, for my three friends and me! There is an hourly fee, 4 hour minimum, and a minimum for spa services which needs to be hit, but the second part is easy enough with three or more.
Located in the 15^th floor, we are led to our beautiful private suite, complete with side by side massage tables (used for couples, not groups), two jacuzzi tubs, that would probably fit four each, eucalyptus steam room, and two showers, one with a potty attached (this is the mom of a 6 yr old talking) and one alone. There is a separate potty as well. There is also a nice dressing/​vanity area. Did I forget to mention the large sofa, that could fit about 12 people, comfortably, and a bar table that has 6 chairs? There are two TVs, one above the two jacuzzi tubs, and one in the living space. There is a nice view of the Paris, and an obstructed view of Bellagio’s water feature.
Our host, Alex, was the BEST!!! Robert, the spa manager is also 5-​star. We requested special cupcakes and they went out, picked them up, and delivered them to our suite to surprise the birthday girl. We e*mailed and called Robert like we were crazy stalker ex-​girlfriends, and he took our calls, ensuring everything was ready.
Spa services were great, two of the masseuses are a must see, definitely, Don, and Bernard, these reviews are by seasoned spa goers, so they are a must see while at the Cosmo.
If you have the time, and win enough at the tables or slots, spend the money to relax with friends and have fun at the Sahra suite, it’s a Vegas experience that doesn’t need to stay in Vegas.

Lovely facility, so quiet and relaxing. It’s located on west tower (main entrance) at the cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, we made appointment a day earlier, because of the convention meetings that weekend, I barely got a mani & pedi treatment at 2:30 in the afternoon.
We were welcomed warmly by the host girl the minute we went in, since we booked treatments, we were also free to use the entire spa facility. The men and women areas are separated, there is a common area upstairs, hubby waited for me there after his massage service.
I liked the small lounge, it also works as a waiting area for guests to be called upon for their treatments, they offer water, tea, coffee and healthy snacks such as dried fruits and nuts. The staff walked me through every step in the facility, completely stress free, I would have gotten lost there, and I forgot about my locker number too, I knew this would happen, glad if anything should happen, I just let the staff know.
I really liked the mani and pedi treatment I received, everything was so clean, and smelled so pretty. My nail tech was very friendly, we chatted a bit now and then, she was very gentle and accommodating. They offer hair styling and makeup applying too, a bride was there to get them done, she looked very beautiful. I would have wanted to try it, but I was sitting there for too long already, didn’t think I could sit any longer.
The spa experience was very nice, I liked everything except one of my gel nails peeled off after just one day, ouch… What happened?! Not worth the $ 200ish service! But if you stay at the cosmopolitan, it’s nice to use the facility for sauna, jacuzzi and all, it’s very relaxing before a big night out or after hard partying the previous night. Think I will just use the facility, and have my hair and makeup done next time, no more gel nails!

Very calm and soothing ambiance conveniently located in The Cosmopolitan if you’re staying there. They offer a number of different services such as massages, face peels and saw they had a salon. We just went in for the spa facilities which included a large jacuzzi with powerful jets, so calming, with a rain like side, and the rest was open. There is a large lounge area, as well as a waiting area with amazing loose leaf tea’s, snacks like granola and fruit. They also have a sauna, a rain mist room and a steam room.
They have lockers and the showers are wonderful, and their bathroom fully stocked with razors, hairbrushes, q-​tips etc

I might have to give this spa a four star rating cause there were NO BANANAS! But it’s so relaxing that I just have to give it 5 stars all the way.
Went here on a Sunday afternoon for some me time and some R&R and some serious nap time.
There’s one large jacuzzi with a overhead sprinkle of water (shower). That was the least hottest/​warmest area. You can sit there 15 – 20 minutes and you’ll be fine.
The dry sauna, is seriously dry. Jut hot enough to make you sweat vigorously.
The wet sauna is my serious fave. Eucalyptus wet sauna? Why not?! It felt refreshing, minty, hot/​wet, and when you get out of the sauna, felt like you’ve been rejunivated (sp?)
The shower mist room was kinda awkward because once you walk in, you just stand in the middle and let the shower rain on you. No seats. Just standing.
Other than, they need bananas, cause I was told there would be bananas. And preferably more lounge chairs, like an area for napping.
Would come visit again and try out the massages.
