My name is Sarah Sorvillo, and I am a Labor Doula and Certified Herbalist at Well Rounded Momma, a women’s wellness and maternity center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I specialize in women’s holistic care for pregnancy, childbirth and beyond. I offer Labor Doula Services, Herbal Counseling, Herbal Classes, Bulk Herbs and Medicinal Teas.

I believe that birth is an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime and each birth is special and unique. I would love to support you and your family as you embark on this most challenging, heartfelt and meaningful journey. Over the past eight years I have served families of Southern Nevada as a Labor Doula, Childbirth Educator and Certified Herbalist. I have attended births at both hospitals and at home, ranging from natural, induced, vbac and cesarean.

I believe in a woman’s right to choose how and where they give birth. No matter what kind of birth you desire or the direction your birth takes, I will always strive to be a constant source of peace, comfort, support and information. Depending on the mother’s wants and desires, I do a variety of comfort measures including some aromatherapy, relaxation techniques, body positioning and nurturing touch to decrease labor pain, relieve anxiety, and increase emotional bonding.

Business Owner

Back in 2006, I started out by taking a Child Development class at the community college. I found other birth professionals in town and took every class and read every book on childbirth that I could find. For the first two years I offered free Labor Doula services to those that couldn’t afford a Doula.

When Well Rounded Momma was founded in 2007 I became an active member and continued my studies and practice with them. Through camaraderie and continued education my skills advanced. I even went so far as to study midwifery for a few years. I continue to be an active member of Well Rounded Momma today. In fact in October of 2012 I become one of four proud owners of Well Rounded Momma and now I’m blessed with the opportunity to train other Doulas in our organization.

In February 2012, Heart of Herbs Herbal School certified me as an Herbalist after two years of independent study and I demonstrated skill with over 60 herbs.
