In Vegas, the businesses really know how to make a buck. With every major attraction, there has to be a gift store. This is true at the soon-to-be-opened High Roller Ferris Wheel at the now-opened Linq, between the Quad and Flamingo. Not only that, but this gift shop opened before the main attraction did! You can buy souvenirs of the High Roller before it actually opens, in late March 2014 from what I have heard. They sell the usual gamut of souvenirs — keychains, T-shirts, etc. — but I could not keep thinking that the main attraction has not yet even opened. Some of these souvenirs are actually pretty cool, but I already have enough of this kind of stuff from other places that I don’t need any more. I think this store will become more meaningful once the High Roller opens.
