After trying 5 other pool companies in the Las Vegas area and having horrible results, I contacted Drew at Some Guys Pool Service to come out and give me an estimate. He was on time and the price was fair from my perspective. That was three years ago and we are still using Some Guys as they are always willing to come out and take care of whatever the problem is. Recently, we had a plumbing issue caused by the company that originally installed the pool and Drew took the time and made several visits to get the problem rectified even though it was not caused by his company and did not charge me for any of it! Drew has always been fair and helpful with any issue that has come up given that this pool was installed prior to us residing in this home so we have no idea how things were installed but it was not completed correctly and Drew never has an issue with repeated calls for the same problem, he is always professional and gets the job done correctly!

I’ve used Some Guys Pool Service for a couple of years. Foolish of me… My pool for the last year has algae growing on it… I’ve consistently asked that my pool be vacuumed every visit… This is never done, nor should I have to ask at all. The Friday before Memorial Day my heater on my spa tricked off. Drew (the owner) said no problem, he’d take a look at it on Saturday. No one comes or calls on Saturday. I called and texted him on Saturday… No response at all. Tuesday I receive a text from Drew stating, that he’s been sick and playing catch up this week, and he’ll try and be out there… Another week goes by… NO call, nor did anyone come by to look at the heater. How unprofessional. Obviously, I’m not longer using him… Some Guys Pool Service is supposed to clean my filters… My new guy looked at my pool pump and said my pump is about to explode because it’s SO FILTHY and hasn’t been cleaned… BEWARE of «Some Guys Pool Service»… The two referrals that I gave him terminated him as well. One referral had to buy a whole new pool pump because the filters were never cleaned. Ridiculous.

This just in: Just had my pool pump fixed and the repairman said it was probably broken because the filters hadn’t been cleaned. This is probably because the cleaner, Some Guys Pool Service didn’t clean the filters!

Problem: pool pump plumbing is leaking. I called Some Guys on a Saturday and had me scheduled a free estimate for a Wednesday at 1.30pm. But no one came. I call the office at 2pm only to reach a voice-​mail. Left a voice mail. At 3 pm I call a cell number on their website only to reach another voice mail. At 5.30 PM a guy calls me saying Some Guys asked him to help me out with my pump issue. He sounds nice, trying to help. But he is NOT Some Guys employee! And i have NEVER received any call from Some Guys themselves. Seriously?! Is that how business is done!!! I know, emergencies happen, but a simply call with apologies would have fixed the issue. Nope, apparently, a client does not deserve that. Besides, what right do Some Guys have to give my number to outside people without my permission!!! Bad business and potentially dangerous business ethics.
