South Point Barbershop

Just had a shave & haircut from John & it was a really great experience. This was my first professional shave & I can say for certain it won’t be my last. He also did a first-​rate job on my haircut. I HIGHLY recommend the Shave/​haircut combo to any guy as a great way to relax. Thanks again John, consider me a new regular.

Outstanding cut, attention and customer service! $ 25 + $ 5 tip was expensive for a haircut… But it was vacation…

I am writing this review based partly on my own experience and partly based on my husband’s comments after his appointment. It was our 1 year anniversary (and we got married in Vegas), and we headed back to Vegas… I thought a nice hand shave would be in order to surprise my husband with as we were staying at the Southpoint. I called literally a month beforehand to schedule the appt and the person that answered (a guy who was in the barbershop), was a bit scattered and sort of got things written down, I had hoped…
I called a week beforehand to confirm and to ask if I could pay in advance so that my husband didn’t have to on the day of his appt but that was not allowed or accepted. Ok, fine.
The morning of, I went down there when they opened and no one but the barber was in there… He was in the middle of shaving someone and walked away from them to help me… I wanted to pay for my husband’s shave and he went ahead and took the card and processed it, while the guy was laying in the chair with shaving cream on his face. How could you not have a person working the front desk???
I then sent my husband down there for his 10 am appt, only for him to text me at 10:05, telling me the barber confused the time and his appt was really at 10:30. I went to text him back and say that was not true as I made the appt myself, but then got another text from my husband saying there was more confusion and that he was scheduled at 10, but that the barber was running late. Ok, fine. Not good, but ok.
After the appt my husband told me that the shave was nice, but that the barber was rushed, as he had scheduled yet another appt at 10:30 and he was already late taking my husband. This is the part that I am rating the barber shop on mostly. I paid a lot of money ($ 85) for the shave and to rush on something like that is not appropriate. Don’t overbook if you are the only person there, as it will make for unhappy customers. Because of this, I won’t ever book another service at the barber shop, no matter how nice the service was. No one should feel they are being rushed with this type of service.

5 star all the way! Just moved to town and found my new barber here. ROBERT hooked up a proper fade, gentle man’s cut and beard trim. Shop is clean, nice folks working there, and price was 10+ bucks less than I expected. See ya next week Robert.

Had a «natural» mani/​pedi from Cyndi the manicurist at the barber shop today. My nails look clean and shiny and she was super gentle when cutting cuticles and even worked around a small cut I had. Was great! The place also is very sanitary — which is very important in my book! My bf got his first mani/​pedi which he enjoyed in the spa chair. Definitely will come back again!

Calling this a Barber Shop definitely does not do this place justice! It is really a salon for men who want service that is amazing at a price that is reasonable. The facial treatment and shave by John is AMAZING! I have never enjoyed a shave like the one I got from John. Johnny gave me the best haircut I have ever gotten, bar none. And to top it off I got a Manicure and Pedicure from Cyndi. Cyndi has been doing mens nails for over 20 years. I am local and will be going back every 2 weeks! You will not be disappointed!
