South Point Bowling

Bowling is fun so I like this place but they don’t serve pitchers of beer… only bottles… completely ridiculous

Meh, I drive across town to bowl at Red Rock, so I’m not gonna be excited about South Point bowling. It’s a long walk from parking into the lanes. I do love to bowl and this place was convenient on Christmas Eve. Our group of 3 bowled 2 games each and had an enjoyable time. The new scoring system was confusing to get started. But, I kinda miss writing the scores on plastic sheets on an overhead! The on screen trivia was fun.
They had the coolest bowling themed Xmas ornaments on the tree at the desk. When we paid, the guy asked to see my bowling shoes when I said I had my own. Huh? do ya think I’m bowling in tennis shoes or heels? Ridiculous. Never happened at Red Rock.
Sorry South Point, you didn’t sell me on coming here instead of driving 30 miles.

Huge bowling alley!!! Always available lanes when we go. Food is typical bowling alley food, but they also have a bar which is fun for the adults. Great way to spend an afternoon, catching a movie and hitting the bowling alley after.

Fun atmosphere and a great setup with plenty of lanes. Only downfall was being turned away a few times for later hours but no opportunity to set a spot in advance. Otherwise, had a great time.

They have a nice number of lanes but I don’t like the amount of oil they put on them. I also wish a bowling alley would put the two neighbor lane tables together so during league play you can talk to the people you are bowling against. They also need another cocktail technician working Tuesday nights up there. Two very big leagues taking up all the lanes.

64 lane bowling alley in the hotel! Nice place for families. Friends played here before retiring for the night. It was buy 3 games and get 3 free. It kept them busy for the night. Said that the shoes were very comfortable. Not a normal comment you would say for a shoe rental. The music isn’t loud, which is great for me. I hate places where the music is so loud you can’t hear a conversation with your friends. There is a snack bar available for the late night munchies.

Great spot, visited while I was in Vegas one night to check out a ²⁴⁄₇ alley. Wasn’t super busy, lanes were oiled even at 1 AM.

Great place to hang out with friends, very clean and the service is super friendly definitely a place to do your bowling. There are bowling 64 lanes both side of the room is lined with lanes it’s very spacious you don’t feel cramped at all. I really enjoyed this place. GREAT AC TOO!

Typical bowling alley. Not bad for the price and coupons they supply for staying at the hotel. The only issue would be with their staff. They seem uninterested and don’t seem to want to be there. A smile or two would go a long way for their customers. Also lighter balls for kids would help. Our son struggled to play and eventually was exhausted halfway thru the game.

Great price, good time with family. My boys enjoyed their time bowling. Very clean, great atmosphere. Could use some music, but overall great place.

Dollar bowling at midnight!!! Can’t go wrong with that… Starting on Sunday… Pretty fun!!! Snack bar closes right about midnight so that kinda sucks… Bar is open throughout the night… That’s a plus!

One of the nicest and cleanest bowling centers I have been to. Always bowl leagues here because of that. One thing I like about this place is when they hold «scratch» leagues. Alot of the best bowlers come out for them. All the competition and whatnot always make me want to make me a better bowler myself. Because of all the leagues, you will end up meeting alot of great bowlers personally who are willing to help you with your game.
Another thing I like this place is their pro shop. They have some really good bowling equipment at good prices. Top of that the guys who work in the pro shop are awesome. Very knowledgeable and are willing to do go beyond to make their customers feel comfortable with your new bowling equipment, etc. Before you leave.

Prices are good. They have good deals after midnight as well.
Pretty clean bowling alley. There’s one on both sides which I thought was pretty cool. Customer service wasn’t bad either.
The only reason for a lack of a star was because they need to invest in more balls. I could not find any 8 balls and even the lanes in use didn’t have any except for 1. Along with that, their 9 balls and their 10 balls only had small finger sizes so it was hard for me to use it. There was two balls that I grabbed that I had to put back because I saw that it had a crack in it.
There were little 4 year olds that had to bowl with a 10 ball since there weren’t any light balls around.
Everything else was good. It was just really hard to bowl when you couldn’t find a good ball.

One of the nicest bowling allies in town. It’s clean. I mean clean. When you get your shoes here, you’re not worried about getting a fungal infection. They are well kept and the laces aren’t unravelling. There aren’t as many ghetto people hanging around. There are attendants walking around picking up glasses and wiping down tables. Tables are spread apart so you don’t feel Like you’re on top on the people next to you. There’s $ 1 bowling after midnight Monday-​Thursday. But weekends are still affordable. 2 shoe rentals and 2 games is about $ 20. The bar area is nice and isn’t smokey like other bowling alley bars. Plus the people whom you go with always make for a fun time.

Came to go bowling with another couple on a Friday nite– we got up to the bowling alley around 8:20p and the lanes all seemed to be closed and they were handing out numbers and they informed us they would begin calling numbers and assigning lanes at 9p. While we waited we enjoyed some cocktails in the bar area and played Golden Tee. As they mentioned they promptly started calling numbers and assigning lanes at 9p… when they call your number there is no long line to wait in to pay and get your shoes… the process is very organized and efficient, and the friendly staff goes a long way too!
The bowling center is very well kept and in good condition! The price was decent with two shoe rentals and two games each– our total was $ 21.

South Point is a great place to kill time — there’s gambling, bingo, movies, bowling, and video games. My husband and I had a really good time. It’s not a fancy casino by any means, but it’s clean and not overly smoky. The bowling alley is also very clean. The shoe rentals are a little beat up, but this facility has kept up well. There are numerous lanes and people seem to be pretty aware of bowling etiquette. Depending on the time of day, games and shoes go for $ 3.50/ea. The lanes are all automated (bumper capable) and there are televisions interspersed if you get bored staring at your own screen.
The workers there aren’t overly friendly nor happy to be working, but they are efficient and willing to answer questions. We didn’t play any bingo or watch a movie, but the slots were fun and not completely begrudging in letting the patron win. Some food options available here were a buffet, seafood bar, steak n shake, Dreyer’s ice cream.
If you’re looking for a quick escape from the hustle of the strip and kick back, South Point might be the answer for you.

It was a quiet Friday afternoon and we had some time to kill before dinner so we popped into South Point’s bowling center for three quick games. They have a mind boggling 60+ lanes. When we first got there, it was not very busy, but by the time we left, it was getting pretty crowded as the Friday afternoon bowling leagues started arriving. There were several other small groups next to us. After a while, we all started cheering for each other. We had so much fun!
For such a nice place, it wasn’t very expensive. Can’t wait to go back! Would have given it an excellent rating if we had cosmic bowling. Once you try it, you can never go back to regular bowling. It’s just not the same!

Smoke-​free! Really liked this bowling alley because it was clean, had tons of lanes, and the staff knew exactly what a family with a 3 year old needed. Played 2 games between the three of us on Father’s Day, with shoe rentals for 3, it came out to about $ 30. Not bad for an indoor activity in the heat of summer. Loved the fact that they had shoes for toddlers (clean shoes at that!) and explained exactly what we needed to do to get him started (first time he went bowling).
Didn’t get real food from the snack bar, but did grab a bag of chips and a large drink for a total of $ 4. They did have salads, pizza, pretzels, Krispy Kreme donuts, and tons of wraps, and other delicious looking food. I was very surprised that all the salads were fresh and looked very good. Definitely not what I was expecting from a bowling alley snack bar.
Only reason for the missing star is that in the middle of a game, they decided to run the waxing machine down our lane without the staff member even saying a word to us about it. Not sure if this is common practice but it was a little off-​putting. I will definitely be returning though. We all really had a great time.

Came here on a Saturday night for a couple of games, for two peeps and shoes, it cost around $ 20. Right off the bat, the snack stand is awesome– they have fresh made crispy crème donuts! Aaaahhhh! And other sorts of fancy delicious deserts and junk food (: They have a bar the «cat alley» haha, love it! They about 50+ lanes available, it’s actually a pretty small bowling alley. But for a sat night, it was chill and enjoyable. I would definitely come here again.
Fun note: the arcade next door has AIR HOCKEY! Yeahhh buddy.

Part 3 of our evening ended up at the South Point Bowling Center. This is one of the nicer ones in town (The nicest being Red Rock IMO) Lots of lanes, good amount of seating, and relatively clean.
There were about 14 of us, and it came out to $ 10 a person for shoe rental and two games which wasn’t bad at all. This was a great way to end our evening… fun, low key, and drama free! I’m not a competitive bowler, nor a good one, but I’m just happy to have scored over 100 both games!
Being open 24 hours is another plus here, so you can come knock ‘em down any time of the day, or night. ALOHA!!!
