Today was my first time going there, and I must say it’s most likely my last. I was actually excited to go and planned on having a few buddies stop but that didn’t happen. By the time I was even asked did I want a drink I had already spent $ 60. The sad part is the bartender had plenty of opportunities to take cigarette breaks. By the time I almost hit $ 100 she finally brought my beer and then had the nerve to charge me for the beer. Locals bar? I think not. I’ll continue to go to Money Plays and PT’s.

Absolutely terrible experience!!! We live near by and used to come all the time until one day we came in and ordered a drink, we gave the girl a 20 for our two drinks and she didn’t give us our change. We kindly told her we gave her a 20 and she called us liars and said we were stupid!!! She was literally yelling at us at the bar while we sat there in shock!!! Saying she’s always right and isn’t wrong! I have never been treated like that in my life cause I am also in the industry!!! She was terrible to us!!! We are almost 30 not 21 but she treated us like we were children and drunk when it was our first stop!!! Didn’t refund our money or anything!!! I will never go back again and advise all my friends not to go anymore!!! Sad cause we used to love that place…

My favorite dive bar, ever. $ 3 beer and hot dog deal can’t be beat. If you’re tired of the Disneyesque glitz and glam of pop Vegas and want to take a walk on the sketchy side, this is the place for you. Smoke, peeling linoleum tile, and tired construction workers crowding the place are what it’s all about. Combination convenience/liquor store is a classy touch, as is the bulletproof glass window for redeeming tokens. The bartender runs the place with clockwork efficiency: get in, get your beer and dog, pay, play, get out. Keep it real.

Sketchy, smoky, and skanky but great! If you have never been to a dive bar or too snooty to visit one then don’t bother going. I saw hustlers, thugs, hoochies, and semi famous people. Its a mashup. They have great cheap drinks and good music.

DIVEBAR… One of the beat bar in Vegas, you can beat $ 3 Jack and coke or screwdriver $ 3 for shot of patron pbr $ 1 staff are friendly, if you want to hang out with real ppl. Down to earth ppl you should at least go there once there’s a liquor store in the back so you can get liquor to take to your room It’s a block off the strip, and for 2pac fan it right at the intersection where he got shot(koval and flamingo)

I like the place. I go on every visit now… alone…I don’t take my girlfriend there as it is a bit rough and smoking is allowed with no ventilation. Cheap booze, cheap and unhealthy food but great energy and atmosphere. Definitely a locals hangout and around 2am the professional ladies start to arrive… and they are hilarious… funny as heck and mostly drunk, they are better than any stage show. The bartenders are beautiful women so the bars are usually full of guys. Great place for a guy or couple of guys to hangout, and just savour OLDLASVEGAS. Cash only after every drink which annoys me, but I get it… transient population. Ladies should stay home on this one

Fun place to get cheap(and I mean CHEAP) drinks! Don’t come here if you’re trying to grab a quick classy drink… this place is the epitome of a dive bar, and they embrace it! Hot dogs, two dollar shots, and dollar beers. If you’re on the strip and trying to get drunk for cheap, this is the place! And it’s connected to a mini-mart so you can buy munchies if need be. Cash only!

This place is cool for guys and okay for girls who like to be treated blatantly like a piece of meat. The drinks are cheap and full of liquor which is what I came for. They have hot dogs sometimes, if they get a rush for them then you have to wait awhile for them to cook in the wheel. They also have gambling on the bar top but not sure if anyone really wins anything. Good dive bar close to the strip without going over your budget.

This is what I want when I come to Vegas and need a quick drink, satisfy a slight gambling itch at 5pm on a Friday, chill out for a few and get out of the Vegas heat, and enjoy some decent hard working folks. Dive bar, $ 1 Michelob Ultra, Bud Light and Hot Dog for $ 2.50, nice bar tenders, decent video poker, and attached to a grocery/liquor store to allow me to restock on my way back to the hotel to get ready for the evening’s adventures. Will absolutely be back here while in Vegas again.

Two Words… Dive Bar. This is the place the locals go… and tourists like myself who are looking for some cheap booze to start the night off. My friends particularly like this place because this is the type of place they’re used to back home. It all started out as a joke last year when the«Construction Workers Welcome» sign caught our attention… we just found it to be funny along with the dollar hot dog sign and whatnot. We got sucked in there of course and hung out a while. I left smelling like an ashtray and at the time probably one of the only females in the bar along with the bartender. I’m speaking from a tourist perspective here… but I’m not sure(besides happy hour) where else in the area you can get dollar beers, and three dollar fire ball shots so I’m down for the free drinks but I typically don’t come to Vegas to hang out at a place like this. But, if you’re traveling on a budget… hit this place up to get the party started!

I had the ¼ pound Nathan’s dog and Bud Light for $ 2.50. The dog is cooked on a rolling rotisserie like you see in 7-Eleven but I was surprised because it tasted pretty darn good. Probably because the Nathan’s dog is all beef. It was a little greasy but that’s the way an all beef dog is going to be when cooked properly on a rotisserie. I ended up eating at this place 4 times while I was in Vegas getting the special each time. The atmosphere is dive like which is a good thing. The food is nothing special but I am giving this place 3 stars for the super value. A decent cheap meal. Check out my blog«Tales of a Flying Brick» for more details…
