I have to up the stars to A-​OK, and actually state that my interaction with Stacey at Steinberg today was very positive… after Jennifer, the Business Manager from Steinberg, reached out to me via Unilocal,I did in fact speak with Stacey, their Chief Admin Officer, and her concern for my experience with the doctor who performed my biopsy and also the resolution she worked out with Steinberg’s billing department makes me believe maybe my later experiences with Steinberg were isolated and not the norm, since my first two experiences were in fact good ones. I’d really like to believe that! Kudos to Steinberg for caring enough to go the extra mile and find out why a patient left unhappy. That type of customer service goes along way in giving second chances to a business. Steinberg’s handling of a very negative situation to make it a much more positive one is truly appreciated. Thank you!

I was surprised I never heard about this great facility before.
Being a regular MRI taker I was prepared for another long painful wait but was surprised to be in and out of the facility within an hour. Everyone was friendly and accommodating.
There was a slight mistake on billing when a letter arrived in the mail a few weeks later but all was fixed within a few minutes. Would love to come back to this location for my annual MRIs :)

First time visiting this center. Had an appointment for 4:30 and was seen right around that time. The staff was super friendly, explained everything that was going on thoroughly and answered all of my questions honestly. I had an ultrasound and the room it was performed in was warm and comfortable. Definitely a pleasant experience.

I came here with a friend and it is as others have stated about timeliness. However, while waiting in the billing area, 3 separate incidents involving the young female employees was very disheartening. Patients were overheard complaining about the female employees disrespectful attitude toward seniors.

Fantastic friendly staff! I’m very claustrophobic and each time I’ve had to come here, I’ve been treated with compassion and understanding. So glad I was made to feel comfortable and not like I was a bother. Thank you!

No room with people with crying babies u are making a lot of money. How about a playroom for people with kids so people don’t have to listen for an hour while waiting. Shame on you.

I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma about a year ago. I’ve had three bone marrow biopsies and the first two (not performed by SDMI) were quite painful. I was dreading the third but, as it turned out, Steinberg Diagnostics made the ordeal an almost pleasant experience. No waiting, the staff was friendly and explained everything in detail. They gave me painkillers by I.V. and injection and before I knew it… It was over! I’ll have to have it done again and I will insist on Steinberg.

Very friendly at the front desk and very helpful. The staff was professional at each area that I was taken to. Not a lot of paperwork to fill out. Had to have a mammogram and the tech was very compassionate and professional. I would definitely recommend this place.

I’ve had numerous visits to this location as well as a couple visits to their office near Centennial Hospital. I’ve had CT scans, Pet scans, MRIs and out-​patient surgical services. In every instance, I have found their service to be exceptional and they go out of their way to ensure that I am provided the correct service, even contacting the referring doctor if there is any question. Service have always been provided on time.

There is usually not a long wait, everyone is nice, place is spotlessly clean.
I have places I like better, where the employees are a little more human, but the quickness makes up for it here.
They need a bigger parking lot! I gave up a primo parking spot because the people behind me were 120, resulting in me waking a mile to park. Sigh.
It’s a little hidden. The sign says SDMI, which always throws me. Keep your eyes peeled right after the bank, or right before if you come off Cheyenne.

Piss-​poor customer service. Slow service and long waits as well. Today they would not even burn a cd with the images so that it would be available for pickup without a wait. They said they don’t want to «waste cd’s when people don’t pick them up. So I had to actually show up and wait for 26 minutes for the disc. … Lame…

Billing dept. leaves something to be desired. When billed during my wives visit, they said they had made a mistake and overcharged us. I had to wait two days for my bank account to be credited before they could re-​bill me the correct amount. Then I started receiving statements for a balance due. I called the billing dept and after running in circles with many excuses I was told that the account is settled. But, since then I have still been receiving statements for a balance due. It doesn’t seem the billing dept. knows what they are talking about. Tried to call them to get the story but billing dept. closes at 4:45. One more inconvenience in a long line of inconveniences.

I had a hard time coming to terms with getting the CT scan that my Dr. had recommended. After doing extensive research I had many concerns. I was very pleased with the interaction that I had with the two radiologists that assisted me. They took the time to go over my CBC results, and all concerns regarding the CT Scan by taking the time to explain the entire process in detail. The radiologist that was by my side guided me step by step as to what to expect and how I would feel during the procedure.
I greatly appreciate the personalized service I received. I wish I would have gotten the names of the two radiologists that helped me 07÷10÷14, so I could name them here. It is common in the medical field to depersonalize interaction. It is a ‘condition’ or a diagnosis, and the person is irrelevant in the process. These radiologists provided excellent service and deserve 5 stars.

I brought my elderly father in to the Tenaya Way location because he is very ill. His physician sent us over with STAT orders for a chest xray. He was recently released from the hospital after a month and his health is touchy. We checked in and they saw STAT in the orders and said they don’t «do» that. His dr. Needed these ASAP but these people couldn’t care less.
I know why I use Desert Radiology. I should have taken him there (but insurance dictates where you go.)

If i could I would give no stars! I told them if I would bring my referral back in 10 mins they wouldn’t make me make a new appointment they said no I have to do another appointment I am not gonna do my test now because of this place since my doctor hasn’t faxed the referral over! Forget this place never doing anything again here as long as it’s not life threatening which this isn’t! I always have problems coming here! Hate it!

Never had an ultrasound on my «twins» but this was quite an experience. They don’t really practice privacy when asking for information and its more of an assembly line when you’re called in. The ultrasound techs are quick and I don’t know about anyone else, but they asked me what type of ultrasound is being requested. They also forgot to clean up after the previous patient. I hope to never see this place again. 2 stars for getting the job done and wait time being under 1 and ½ hours.

I’ve had the dubious pleasure of using the services of four major X-​Ray places in Vegas, three of them in Summerlin. Mostly routine stuff, thank goodness. The first, Red Rock, was fine until it was bought out by Mountain View Hospital. Then, an x-​ray that my insurance co. was charged $ 91 for skyrocketed to over $ 400 the very next year! Time to move on.
I’ll skip the next place, which was so awful that the films couldn’t be used, and move on to Steinberg. Here was a nice-​looking facility that had me fill out three full pages of information, each two-​sided in small print. It took so long that by the time I finished, they called me inside.
I was treated well, the scan was done quickly, and I was out and good to go. Their equipment is up-​to-​date (unlike place #2, which shall remain nameless so I don’t get sued) and the tech was efficient and friendly.
