Hi my name is Wesley Russell and I have been in the automotive field for ten years. I love the automotive industry because it is always evolving and there is always something new to learn.

My favorite car is the classic 1955 Chevrolet Bel-​Air. You might say my love for cars is in my blood since I come from a background of engine machinists and racing.

I wrote a negative review concerning the failure to repair an airbag problem after charging over $ 300.00.They replied that someone would call me to discuss the problem. No one ever did.

Making an «appointment» is an absolute joke to have for an oil change and really shouldn’t take an hour ½ to turn around. Funny how I had 2 cars go in to have oil changes on the same day, both take that long to do a very simple job and I just realized the air intake cover not even put back properly after a few weeks on one of them! I know they do a «routine» inspection even if it’s a quick oil change. Sun Auto was always the option outside of a dealership so they advertise, but after this last customer service, they’ve sealed the deal that we won’t be coming back anymore! I also was quoted almost $ 800 for a water pump & thermostat replacement, took it to another shop and got it fixed for $ 380? Hmmm, so that $ 800 quote is a little excessive for being an alternate to a dealership? Customer service should come back to this business or they will lose more business period. I always recommend Sun Auto to everyone that asked, and now I don’t, that’s telling you something about a FORMER loyal customer.

They are the best car service, costumer service business, I experienced in my life. Every one of the guys who works here are supper polite, kind and humble. They offer the cheapest Mercedes Benz services in Las Vegas, after my research, in hours and hours, calling all over. The job was done more then it was expected with the same price. I saved a lot of money by bringing my car at Sun Auto Serv. I walked out there in tears, for being treated in such wonderful and kind ways. In my experience as Californian, that is rare to find in Vegas, out side of the strip, the top Hotels. Even when I had an incidence again and needed toying, I called them. As usual and as expected, they refereed me the cheapens toying company. Now this is why I am taking the time to give them this review, what they deserve. Also I want to help many of us out there for finding this kind of great business, who offers great prices, services and job, that we look for in life.

Apparently they got up to four stars because a lot of our reviews are being removed for some reason. This place was awful. They try to tell me a bunch of stuff was wrong with my car and when I got it checked out somewhere else of course none of that was wrong with my car. They also either did not replace a stripped bolt or did not tighten them all the way as my oil pan leaks. I will never use them or another sun auto again

Update on last review for this business. They did not buy all of the parts like Scott promised. He gave Wes the go ahead but apparently Wes didn’t order everything that was missing and then one of the parts he did get is the wrong one. So my car still sits in the garage
Now trying to get them to actually order all the missing parts like Scott promised he would replace. Will update

Took my SUV in. Told me it would cost aprox 1100 to fix gas tank. I took it some where else and it cost 200. It was the o ring around gas tank. Very disappointed.

Just like women will follow their hair stylists when they move, I followed Jessie to Sun Auto. He’s been caring for my car for almost 3 years now, and has always delivered the best customer service and care for my car. Won’t go to anyone else. The store manager Wes is also amazing. Thanks, guys! :)

Yesterday I was having issues with my car starting and being new to Las Vegas didn’t have access to any alternate transportation with family and friends. I called Sun Auto Service late in the afternoon and the gentleman who answered the phone, Shilo, was very accommodating and told me it would be no problem getting my car in ASAP. I wound up just needing a new battery and I was in and out very quickly even with a constant stream of customers on the phone and in the lobby. My son was very excited to see the inside of the car and my technician, Randy, was very nice to both of us and super efficient in getting everything done. I will absolutely be back! Thanks, guys!

I came here on Wednesday hoping to squeeze in a quick oil change. They couldn’t accommodate me, so I decided to make an appointment for the next day. I was quoted a turnaround time of 45 minutes to an hour, which was reasonable for this type of service.
My appointment was today at 1 pm, so I get there and drop the car off. I’m on my lunch and walk across the street to the McDonalds to grab something to eat, hoping my car will be done or at least close to complete by the time I’m back. Nope. By the time I’m back, my car is still in the same spot and hasn’t been touched in over 30 minutes. I understand that shops get busy, but what’s the point of an appointment if my car is just going to sit there? If you book an appointment, honor the appointment.
Ultimately, my car was finished in an hour and a half (30 – 45 minutes longer than quoted). If you quote a turnaround time, you need to deliver. This isn’t a rocket science car service that may get delayed due to newly discovered issues. It’s an oil change. Thankfully I can take long lunches without concern, but I shouldn’t have needed to in the first place.
On the bright side, the employees were nice and the price was competitive.

Sun Auto is my favorite place to go! Jayson is top notch, from the phone call to schedule an appointment to picking up my car and walking out the door. He made me feel welcome, like I mattered. I went in for an oil change, also knowing I need a little major work done, but didn’t tell them. When I picked my car up Jayson informed me of the same issue, which I thought was kind. I had already had a quote from someone to do the repairs, which I told Jayson, but he still provided me an estimate, working hard to match the quote. Jayson is an employee that rises above, caring for his customers and ensuring they are well taken care of. Thank you Sun Auto for hiring such a great guy! Thank you Jayson for being you! Maybe next time you will play me a song.

This was my very first time going to this place and it was really great. I went in thinking I needed one thing but it turned out I needed something else, which was way cheaper than what I would’ve paid in the beginning. Overall, I think I waited maybe an hour and a half, if that. The guys that work there were very friendly and professional and overall very nice. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

I have finally found an auto mechanic shop with exceptional customer service and with the most positive attitude I have seen in a long time from auto shops. Usually when going to an auto shop, I am apprehensive because of countless bad experiences from your Mom & Pop type of shops, to Jiffy Lube, to even Sears Auto. Today was a complete game changer and I am happy to say I was wrong in my assumption. From when I first walked in, I was warmly greeted by Jayson and immediately attended to. While not getting into everything that was said as far as my situation of being there, I will say that Jayson went way above and beyond normal customer service and taking care of one. He was honest and actually gave a damn about my concerns. He took it upon himself to call a Toyota dealership service department to verify my emissions warranty and upon finding out it could be covered, I left there feeling reassured and confident that what he achieved would carry over to where he sent me for further assistance. In the end, he sent me to Centennial Toyota and everything ended up being completely covered under warranty which brought my day to an awesome conclusion. Jayson is the epitome of what customer service is and it’s awesome that he is representing your company.

I am jumping the gun on this review, since I have yet to pick up my car. But barring catastrophe (oh no what have I said), this place is great. I have spoken to Jason and Wes, and they have far too much energy to be working so hard every day. I don’t get it. We were referred to Sun Auto by Carmax, since they couldn’t fit us in for a few days, and Sun could have us in the same day. We had issues with getting coverage approved on Carmax’s end, but Sun Auto put up with all of it for us and got it done. They’re great! Of course if there are any surprises when I pick up my car, I’ll update this… but I doubt it.

Stopped here to have my headlight replaced on a road trip. I could tell they were really busy but they got me in quickly. When they gave me my keys back, the store manager gave me his hand and told me to have safe travels. He refused a payment. These guys professional friendly and trustworthy.
