Awesome awesome awesome! First time in a buggy. Played with a TV’s most of my life. Robins was amazing very patient kept us very safe explained everything perfectly and clearly and overall showed us a great time. Definitely plan to go as often as possible… recommend the same!

Absolutely amazing experience for all ages! Sunny day and awesome dunes! Singles and doubles are great. Keith did a great job.

Sun Buggy was great, especially our guide Terry. He took us on some fun dunes, and made sure we were safe the whole time. When a few of the inexperienced drivers got stuck, he was quick to get them out. Thanks Terry, that was a great Vegas experience.

It was our first time visiting Las Vegas and of course we went dune buggying. The pick up to and from the hotel was very quick and easy. When we got there we waited and little bit then we made it out to the buggies. The ride was awesome and adrenaline packed. Terry was our tour guide and he provided us with a fun, safe and wonderful experience. We had a great time and he was very helpful when we had some mechanical issues. Overall it was a great experience and I am very happy we decided to book with sun buggy.

Great fun! Terry was amazing! Very patient with us less experienced drivers but still very willing to let us try the crazy crossover! Definitely riding again next time we find ourselves in Vegas!

Great experience. Very intense. The guides were extremely helpful, especially for a novice like myself. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to do something different in Vegas!

Nice staff… Miserable equipment! Pick up and drop off are convenient and the staff is accommodating however the equipment suck. Constant brake downs and no brakes (tad dangerous). Not a big deal if you have time to waste and feel like being aggravated.
Pls note management knows of the equipment issues. They just don’t care!

Had a great time! The 30 minute tour on the dune buggies was plenty for me! In my opinion it’s a tiny bit over priced though. Was scared to book bc of other reviews that I saw but my personal experience was great. Pick up was 10 min late but he called to let us know and was such a nice guy. Seems like the place may need better management but still happy I decided to give this a try, it was worth it!

Truly a great end to a Vegas trip.
Though one off the bucket list — will definitely come back.

Great way to experience the Las Vegas desert. Richard was our guide and he was great! He was very relaxed, no nonsense, and made me feel comfortable although this was totally out of my comfort zone!
Just make sure you are ready from some rough and tumble riding! This activity is not for the faint of heart.

Took a Valley of Fire tour. Guide was great, scenery — OK. Buggy was beaten up, steering had problems, was locking up — not very safe; also was underpowered — not much fun. Took longer than quoted round-​trip time (~9+ hours from hotel and back). Place looks kinda crappy — was really surprised by the way equipment, office looks — very non Vegas-​like.
At the end — your typical «make-​as-​much-​money-​from-​vegas-​tourists-​as-​you-​can-​without-​spending-​anything-​on-​good-​service» stuff.

Great for tourists that want to experience the Vegas desert.
Arrived at 10:30 to sign in and get fitted for the Dune Buggy Chase. Waited around for about 10 minutes to sit and watch a safety video. Relaxed and waited another 15 minutes for the bus to arrive and take us to the location where the buggy’s were. Finally, everyone got to start driving within about an hour of walking through the doors.
Buggy’s are one or two seats and go around 35 – 45 mph when maxed out. You start out with a good pace then our leads Frank and Richard start to just take off. For the most part, you are driving around on flat ground and spin in circles and drifting, but I got to catch air about 4 times and had about a total 7 opportunities to do so. They try to keep the whole chase going unless someone has some type of complication with their vehicle. By the time we got back, I timed 50 minutes which included the little 5 minute break they gave us in between the whole drive.
The experience is great for being a first time rider. As for the price goes, it’s Vegas. Dress for the weather and a lot of sand getting on you. The weather can get pretty toasty and there is no shade, so try to avoid the July-​September time frame if that worries you.
Other than that, stay hydrated and keep your fingers on the outside of the steering wheel!

Awesome people. Business process needs ALOT of help, Fun once you get to do it. Logistics of getting there and back are awful. Budget 5 hours

I would have to say this was the highlight of my trip to Vegas. They picked us up from the hotel late but after that everything seems smooth sailing. We did a one hour 2 man dune buggy to get the driver and passenger experience. Our guide showed us different dunes in the area. Some wicked drops that my friend chickened out on. In my turn I did not let go of the gas. Did drops and fishtails hard. These buggies can take a beating hence the price. I think the half hour was a good enough length of time to have a great time. Of course I wish I can go longer. The dunes were also gorgeous. Will definitely repeat next time I come back to Vegas.

It was a great time on a nice hot day. We started the day waiting for the bus where there was a slight communication on the pickup location. After the mix up was sorted, we were on our way over to the venue. One of the star deduction was low ac in the back of the van.
Once there, we were quickly lead to register and get our safety gear including helmet and goggles. If you are expecting a free T-​shirt from Unilocal check-​in, call beforehand cause they ran out when I was there. That was the other star deduction.
Our guide Steve was great and we were only delayed twice when one of the buggies from the group for stuck in the sand dune. The other time was when Steve had trouble with his buggy and needed a replacement. Unlike some reviews, we had an amazing time with our time.

Its an expensive treat around $ 220 per person. If you can get pass that then it is a lot of fun! They pick you up from your hotel and give you wet cloth at the end of the ride to clean up plus cold bottled water. Something they don’t voluntarily offer are these white head sleeves that provides a barrier from all the sweaty helmets. I found that out during a stop in the ride and asked a fellow rider where they got the head sleeve. The experience of riding is balls to wall rugged whip lashing fun as you navigate over sand and rocky terrain. If you don’t have a buggy that breaks down than a 30 minute ride will quench the thrill as you beat up your buggy over the harsh terrain. Plus if your lucky, since your near the AFB, you get to see F-​22 fly over too! I highly recommend it. Staff was friendly and if your hungry stop next door Mo’s Race Day Café for some diner style food.

I am no stranger to riding dune buggy’s, so I was super excited to know that my friend had set us up with a «chase» while vacationing in Vegas!
The experience was sub par to what I’m used to. For a business that clearly makes a descent amount of money (they had 50 runs the day I went… You do the math. & yes I’m sure that may not be a daily thing) you would think the owners would spend a few bucks towards having AC in their shuttles. It’s not a priority though, even when they have children as part of their clientele (from what an employee was telling my group, the owners spend quite a bit on personal properties & such). They will also provide you with lots of HOT water… Which is what EVERYONE wants on a hot day in LV.
Have your schedule cleared ALL day, because even if you set a 2pm appointment, for ex., your «chase» may not start for another 2−3hrs later.
The Chase: we chose 1hr, which by the time it took us to actually ride, I was over it. All I wanted to do was leave. The only thing that kept me there was the fact that my friends had never rode buggy’s before.
We’re finally riding (me by myself & my friends in a 2 seater. Our guide was super cool, which eased me up a bit! Our ride was very enjoyable! After 30mins we stopped to take photos & drank water. Then we were at it again. This time our guide took us on higher, steep hills of sand which are SO much fun!
I’d also like to thank my guide (who’s name I do not remember) for letting me use he’s gloves! It’s a must because you can easily get blisters from the steering wheel.
Other tips: bring a handkerchief to cover your mouth & nose from sand. As crazy as this may sound, covering up is a very smart thing to do when riding in the sun, especially if your skin is sensitive. Sunblock will not help with that.
Helmets: it’s super worth paying an extra $ 25 to rent «new» helmets! Used ones are super gross & stink LOL.
All in all, my experience turned out to be GREAT… Although I have had even better runs in the past in Cali’s desert (not with this company).
My low rating is not for the drive or staff (both were great!). My low rating is for the owners not wanting to provide proper s*** for their employees & customers. I don’t blame employees for being miserable at work & giving «bad vibes» to customers if their boss can’t even provide something as simple as AC.
