I recently ordered shutters for my house. I can’t say enough great things about the salesman. He was patient and informative. No high pressure sales tactics and very knowledgable about the products he was selling. When he left I was sold and phoned the flamingo office the same day 11÷3÷15 to place my order and give the deposit $$ which was half the total price. (Not cheap by the way) The salesman told us that the white shutters would be ready in 4 – 6 weeks but the wood shutters would take a little longer at 5 – 7 weeks. He wrote that in the contract and circled it so we knew the amount of time we were to wait for the order. I was told that a week before they schedule to install I would receive a call from the office to pick a convenient time and day in order to remove existing window covering and move furniture. After waiting 6 weeks without hearing anything from sunburst I called to see if my installation was on track for next week which was the maximum amount of time we were told we would have to wait. I called the office and that’s were the great customer service ended. The office ladies (I spoke with two different ones) were very rude and condescending. They kept insisting the wood shutters take 8 weeks or more which is not what we were told. Ok I can understand hold ups in orders etc but that’s all they had to say. The office lady said we don’t have you scheduled until the end of the month. I asked why no one had called me with this information if I was already scheduled. Her answer was so extremely rude. She huffed and said I was going to call you tomorrow. I asked well since I’m on the phone now can we discuss the installation date as I had travel plans at the end of December. She was so irritated just because I had questions! This is ridiculous and no way to treat a customer who spent thousands on shutters from supposedly the best company in town. When I asked what the hold up was she said well you didn’t pay your deposit until ¹¹⁄₉ which is completely wrong. I paid the required amount on the day the salesman came 11÷3÷15. She argued and said no we didn’t get it until 11÷9÷15. When I asked how that was possible she wouldn’t answer. I still don’t have my shutters so I can’t rate them but from my experience I would never recommend sunburst shutters based on the behavior of the office staff. Rude and not helpful at all.
This is an update to my original review one month ago. If you read my last review you know my issue was not with the quality of the shutters or the sales staff. It was with one of the office ladies. Rude and inconsiderate service when trying to schedule installation. Since my last review my shutters have been installed. They are beautiful and I love them. The installers were efficient and friendly. The manager has since phoned me and apologized for his staffs bad attitude on that particular day. All good things and I appreciate it. I love my shutters so much I am considering two more Windows. Was putting up with a rude staff member worth these shutters? Yes… but why does a customer even have to put up with and make excuses for inconsiderate service? Thank you Derek for making it right with us. You shouldn’t have to spend a minute of your busy day apologizing for staff behavior.

We’ve always bought our shutters from Sunburst and they are a great company to work with. We have them in our vacation home and the guests must have slammed the front door with them open and they fell apart. The two nice ladies said bring them in and it should take two weeks to repair them and no charge. I highly recommend this reputable company. We paid $ 6,000 for our entire house of shutters and it was worth it.

These shutters have totally transformed the look of my home. Installers were fast and professional. Salesman and staff fair and easy to deal with. I cant recommend these enough. I went with the polywood product and they are everything I hoped for an more. Highly recommend.

Our recently installed plantation shutters look amazing. The heat they block from direct & indirect sun as well as the room darkening over our previous window coverings is beyond our expectation.
From Sean, Chris, the ladies in the office and our two installers, we couldn’t be more pleased.
You can possibly do cheaper (possibly) but after seeing a nearly 20 year old plantation shutter by Sun Burst we decided on the quality that they provide. Those old shutters look new. New. We could not tell the difference.
For looks, insulation, durability and value you can’t go wrong with this company.
And we will update this review in 20 years just to be sure.

Great job Sunburst shutters! Wished I would of had them installed years ago. My advice, dont wait!

I am completely satisfied with my shutters from Sunburst Shutters. At first I only ordered a set for my master bedroom. After they were installed, I became so impressed that I am considering having a set installed in my living room. The only downfall about their product is the steep price for window treatments, that’s why I will only be doing one room at a time, other than that it’s a 5 star product.

It has been about 1 year since we have had our Sunburst Shutters through our entire home and it is one of the best purchases I have ever made! The shutters are not only beautiful and elegant, they are energy efficient, easy to clean and operate. I love how they can open completely or just partially depending on how much light you want to let in. I especially love that they were able to go on our French doors. All the windows now have a beautiful frame. They are pretty to look at it from the inside/​out. They add value to our home. They keep the room cool when we need it. The quality of Sunburst is what sets them apart from all the other types of plantation shutters around.

Our shutters were installed last week and we couldn’t be more pleased. We are very impressed with the professionalism and quality delivered by Sunburst Shutters. Paul was a pleasure to deal with. He was very knowledgeable, straight forward, and responsive. We received quotes from several other vendors but none of our appointments went as well as our appointment with Sunburst. The ladies at the showroom were helpful in answering our questions and finalizing our selections. Angie was a great in rescheduling our install to a date to accommodate our schedules.

I’ve been wanting shutters for a very long time so when it was time to take the plunge, I knew the exact company I wanted to go with. Everything couldn’t have gone any smoother. I scheduled my inquiry online and received a call the very next day. Then Chris, the sales representative, came equipped with knowledge, samples and a friendly personality. Five weeks later, my shutters were getting installed and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Everyone was punctual and wore booties in my ‘no shoes allowed’ house. Overall a well deserved five star rating!

After my husband and I purchased a home, we decided to replace our vinyl blinds to wood shutter blinds. Sunburst shutter are a great team of professionals. Their shutters are a little pricier than other, however, there quality and team are great! It is worth the extra bucks for something you will be pleased with.

I have used Sunburst for two of my homes and my sister used them as well. Perfect job everytime! Bit expensive but you get what you pay for and they last forever. Will use them again if I buy another home. Never had a problem. Love my shutters!!!

After purchasing our home in May we decided to replace the blinds with shutters. On recommendation we contacted Sunburst Shutters. From the very first phone call, we have been very pleased. Our salesman Paul was very professional and showed us several options. We also received bids from two other reputable companies, but with everything Sunburst offered, we chose Sunburst.
The day of installation, Eric and Fernando showed up on time and went straight to work. Eric had the shutters on 13 windows installed in no time. Fernando was very efficient in cleaning the shutters, sealing and making sure they opened and closed nicely. Our salesman Paul showed up to see how things were going and brought pizza!
We are very pleased and have already started thinking about doing our bedroom windows. Without a doubt we will go with Sunburst.

After moving to Las Vegas, I discovered the summer sun can play havoc on furnishings while adding heat. I got several estimates for shutters after several people told me shutters were the best defense against the hot sun. Sunburst Shutters presented the best quality for the best price. I was very pleased with the result. Not only does it block out the morning sun, it adds beauty to the room. I’ve just ordered more for another bedroom.

Our Las Vegas home is already beautiful, but with the addition of Sunburst Shutters, I couldn’t be more pleased. The showroom helped us get the feel of what was to come. Our saleman Paul is very professional and took precise measurements of all interior windows. He listened to what we said and gave insights which were helpful. He showed us the difference the split rail in the middle made, and that is, the top and bottom open and close independently of each other, another benefit. Plus he was so darn nice! On installation day, everything went like clock work. We ordered the 4 ½″ wood grained Polywood Shutters in bright white. Soon thereafter, we added a three-​panel french doors. We called Paul again to measure the doors for shutters. They will be installed on 11÷5÷13.
