1st pump, the credit card reader was broken. 2nd pump, the premium pump was out of order. 3rd pump, finally good to go. If you’re headed South on the 15, this is a pretty convenient gas station to fill up on your way out of Las Vegas. Now, if they would only fix their pumps.

The card option on the gas pumps does not work most of the time so you’d have to go in yourself to pay. If you’re trying to split your order with cash and card you can’t do that because their registers won’t allow that. If you thought that was already inconvenient I have had such terrible customer service with the cashier. I came in at 4pm on 8÷22÷15 and the lady who worked at the cash register mistook what pump I’ve said — I needed pump 10 and she put pump 7. I tried putting in gas but it wouldn’t go, so before entering the store to correct the problem, the cashier lady comes out and starts yelling at me saying, «YOUTOLDMEPUMP7, WHYAREYOUPUMPINGAT10?!» She turns to the guy at pump 7 and says, «Sir please stop pumping because she screwed the system up.» She walks away with her hands up, shaking her head saying how stupid I was to mislead her. I was at shock to experience the most rudest cashier in my life. I had to personally apologize to the guy at pump 7 because she made me look like I was such a terrible person. As I’m getting my bag and locking up my car to go back in she comes out again and says, «MAAM I NEEDYOUTOHURRYANDCOMEINTOSWIPEYOURCARD!» Once I waked in I caught her talking badly about me to another customer and she instantly stops once she sees me. She didn’t get the best of me, I came in being mature to just pay and go, told her thank you and she just gave me a rude, snobby attitude. This is a very problematic gas station with broken operating systems and a very rude cashier lady with no customer service. Terribles company does not need employee’s who bring their business down. She is lucky, If she had done that to other customers who might have been very aggressive then she would have set herself up for being targeted & possibly hurt. Save yourself the stress and do not go to this gas station.

The credit card option at the pumps were not working. We went in and pre-paid, but it only allowed us to pump 67 cents. Went back in to inquire with the attendant, who just looked at us like he didn’t know how to do his job. Ignored us, slowly based some water for another customer, then slowly told us to do it again. This time, allowing us $ 1.41 in gas. Was incredibly rude and didn’t know how to handle the situation, didn’t seem to know how to do the job and refused to remedy the situation. We left to get gas elsewhere.

If you are drving outside the Las Vegas Strip, heading toward the airport, you’ll see this Cheveron located on the right side, just after passing the«Welcome to Las Vegas» sign. Its not the most expensive nor the cheapest, but there’s plenty of bays to fillup at, squeegies, and a convenience store to get a drink or snacks before hitting the road. If you shop at Vons, they accept the rewards points. I didn’t see a difference in price if you use cash or credit, and its about 40cents less than filling up in SoCal. Watch out for pump 6. Looks like the card reader isn’t working.

What about writing a review about a gas station? Probably not the most useful review that I can do, but well, I went to this station on my last day of vacation, I guess that writing a review about it makes me feel kinda nostalgic! Anyway, this gas station is located less than one mile from the Airport, so I guess that prices are probably higher but it’s nothing compared to what the rental car company would charge if the car is not returned with a full tank! So that was ok. Also the staff was friendly. Oh, and after reading previous reviews I double checked my credit card statement to see if they overcharged me. They didn’t. And then I remembered that I paid cash…

With a name like Terrible’s I often wonder why there AREN’T more terrible reviews, but I certainly didn’t have a problem filling up my Rental Car. Granted, the prices were high, but considering that the Rental Car Return is less than a mile away. I’ll have to wait and observe my credit card statement to verify that they don’t overcharge me, but immediately after my visit, I had no complaints.

My family and I stopped at this location during a road trip. We used a credit card at the outside pump, filled our tank, and left. When we arrived home days later and reviewed our receipts, we realized they had charged our credit card $ 40.00 although we only filled $ 36.75 of gas. The receipt said, «Total: $ 36.75, Prepaid $ 40.00, Change due $ 3.25, See cashier for refund.» They expected us to go inside the store to get the $ 3.25 in change by just writing it on the little printed receipt. What a scam!!! Who knows how many get ripped off this way. Beware!
