I spent days & days reviewing Vegas properties on VRBO because this was a big deal. I’m on R&R and it’s my sister’s first trip to Vegas. I know, crazy.
I wanted a pool & hot tub where I wasn’t going to be bothered by kids, and no-​one was gonna harass me about it being ‘outside hours’. I needed a pool table so the fellas could be entertained. Bottom line: I really wanted a premium property because I’ve been living in a 10’x10’ ‘jail cell’ for the last nine months and sister has spent her life caring for others, not herself.
Online, this place looks amazing… non-​descript from the curb, but perfect in every way on the inside from the pictures. So I run it by all important players who agree it’s perfect then I send a message… I’m interested. Within a day I get a reply… It’s available, here are the particulars, a deposit has been secured, and I’ll get remaining instructions a week or so before check-​in when they’ll also secure the balance.
Wow! Score! Too easy. Sure enough, a couple weeks before my break my credit card is charged the balance and I receive instructions along with the address. After landing in LV and grabbing the rental, I plug the address in Google for directions. It’s not 10 – 15 minutes from the airport and right down the road from the Strip.
When I open the door to this place, I’m thrilled! It’s spacious, well-​decorated, clean, well-​laid out… each room loaded with style and comfort. Each bed wrapped nicely in luxury bedding, it is perfection in every way. The kitchen includes everything necessary to put on family meals, all plates, cookware, etc. The gas fireplaces in the game room and master bedroom are a welcomed touch. The pool & hot tub are sparkling clean, the gas grill is ready for steaks (which we cooked BTW).
We are ten minutes from the Strip and very close to shopping & sightseeing. Truly, this place couldn’t have been better. I’m blessed we had this opportunity. If you’re in the area I encourage you to take advantage. Linda Logan, the property manager, was most gracious and accommodating. For the price point, this place is, hands down, the best way to go in Vegas… I’ll put money on it!
