The Mirage Pool

Aside from the personal incident just a few hours after we checked out, the pool at the Mirage was top notch.
We were there Monday and Tuesday morning so it definitely wasn’t crowded at all and we also got front row seating by the pool.
The bathrooms were amazingly clean and the drink girls always came by to make sure we were taken care of.
Hands down, one of the best pools in Vegas!

WE love this pool. It does get busy during peak seasons so get there a little early if you want multiple chairs together!

When its hotter than hell any pool would be a blessing, The Mirage pool was god sent it was basically almost empty when we went around 3:30pm we thought it was going to be a massive orgy of people trying to squeeze into the pool. At 38 degrees I wasn’t going to walk another day on the strip, I wanted to relax get in some sun and thats what i got and a major ass sun burn.

Huge pool and tons of chairs (not super comfortable) with servers. Pool area and restrooms are kept pretty clean.
I’m giving this 3 stars because there are NO umbrellas. NONE. The pool opens at 8am and there is a line of guests by that time, waiting to get in and save seats. If you arrive by 9:15am, forget getting a spot– there’s nothing left. You need to wait for someone to leave. Which happens because lots of people leave after a few hours because the sun is intense!
After one day at this pool, I decided to pay $ 65 per chair to be at the private Oasis Pool at the Mirage. At the Oasis you get an umbrella and a comfy cushion on the chair and then of course access to a smaller and more private pool. It seemed ridiculous to have to pay for this but in the end, it made my days by the pool much more enjoyable and tolerable. Worthy of note: The Oasis pool opens at 10am and you need reservations. However, there are no seat assignments with the reservations so a line forms at 9am because people want certain seats. This seems like a huge waste of time. Why not with the reservation, assign chairs so that there is no need to line up early at all?

Best pool in Vegas, we love it. Very very clean and tropical, the entire grounds are just immaculate. The cocktail servers are great, they do a good job of making rounds. The shots are very generous in size. The only disappointment was the large drinks are no longer in the nice hard plastic souvenir cups, they are in a cheap flimsy smaller cups which cost $ 27. For that price I would like to think they could afford the nice plastic ones still, but I guess not. We have about 15 cups at home from over the years, the kids always like when we bring them home for them, not anymore though. I hope they bring them back or next time I just won’t spend my money at the pool on drinks, and we usually get four or five while we’re down there. I almost forgot, people start to line up around 7:10AM to get the spots they want

Love hanging out by the pool all day. Complaint, day 3 and have not been able to order a drink to our chairs, bad pool service, we get our own drinks, walk up bar has great service, pretty annoying as we just want to relax.

Pool is pretty nice I love the waterfall but really there is nothing spectacular bout this pool other than the bar and the secret garden overall it’s ok

Me and my wife are Vegas veterans and usually opt for a hotel that isnt too expensive (as we dont spend much time in our room) and has a nice pool.
This was our first time staying @ The Mirage on the weekend of Oct. 24 – 26.
First off, its a very nice pool. The waterfall with The Mirage hotel in the backdrop is a really nice touch. Its smaller than I imagined though from the pictures I saw before our trip.
Weather was perfect. Temps in the mid to high 80’s in late October. Water temp was a bit chilly but youll run into areas in the pool with warm water venting out from the pool floor.
We had no trouble finding a good chair @ 11am and there seemed to be plenty to go around. Although, this might not be the case in the Summer months. There seemed to be lots of rows of chairs grouped together in certain spots and other areas where they were only 2 or 3 rows deep next to the pool.
We didnt order anything poolside but were checked on by the servers throughout the day asking if we were ok or if we needed anything.
My only real complaint and the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the music. I get that you cant please everyone’s musical taste but the music playing was what I would expect to be playing in the background at a department store or something. Lots of country. Too much pop for me. The Flamingo pool had much better variety. More top-​40 with some EDM and hip-​hop mixed in and more of a party atmosphere than this pool.

Super large pool. Great waterfalls. Definitely feels like an oasis except the crowds, the empty booze cups and towels thrown everywhere sort of ruin this illusion. This tends to happen towards mid day though. Still one of the best pools on the strip. Get there early as chairs fill up fast.
CAUTION: if/​when ordering a drink poolside, tip IS automatically added on. They don’t tell you that. Don’t double tip unless you intend to. Sneaky…

Cold pool on an extremely hot summer day– check

Actually finding open pool seating on labor day weekend– check (that was a surprise, but this place is huge)

this might be my favorite pool in Las Vegas, it honestly makes you feel like you are on a vacation.- great place to go to get away from all the commotion on the strip or just a headache from the night before ;)
–1 star though for having WAY too many babies and young kids– I always get uncomfortable seeing children in the city of sin (just my opinion)…so, not the greatest place to get smashed beyond control.
But other than that. beautiful place! feels very exotic!

The Mirage Pool is really nice. The only complaint I have is that the water is so cold. The hot tub is unavailable I guess due to closing earlier, me being too young, or it costing money.

Gorgeous pool where the mermaids play. It’s such an idyllic setting with the cascading waterfalls and calm waters. Add an alcoholic beverage to complete the picture and you’re all set. Relax in this beautiful scene or meet some fun people to party with. Anything’s fair game in Vegas, after all!
There are plenty of lounge chairs if you just want to kick back and recover from a long night. Grab a towel and catch some sun. Make sure to wear sunblock anytime you’re outside in Las Vegas. The desert sun will own you. Guaranteed.
If you’ve napped long enough, take your drink with you into the pool and meet some highly interesting folks. You know how it is. When everyone’s drinking, anyone can become your new friend.
So whether you’re seeking the water nymph of your dreams or just have some fun, this is the place to be!
DATE TIP: The huge waterfall may *seem* like a nice romantic idea, but it’s NOT romantic to piggyback someone right under the waterfall’s force and just stand there forever. Once you get to the other side though, it becomes a private oasis.

Good pool to hang out in, the waterfall is really refreshing. Not enough chairs though so it can be hard to find a spot. People start getting to the pool around 8am and some people go to save chairs which is a bummer. They have a sign posted that if you leave your chair for over an hour then they can move your stuff to open up chairs so if you know someone hasn’t been there just move the towels and take a seat.

If it’s not pool weather in Las Vegas while I’m visiting… I’m a sad panda.
I don’t gamble much so I really embrace my pool time while visiting. Of course the weather when I visited last week was in the high 80s/​90s and had to drop to the 70s while I was visiting, though it was better than Chicago so time to embrace the pool weather! I wouldn’t go to the pool when it’s 70 here in Chicago but 70 has a different feel in LV.
Pool Day 1 — ⁷⁰⁄₇₁ degrees… chilly wind but when the wind wasn’t blowing, it was just perfect because it CAN get too hot here, hot when you don’t even want to leave the pool. I’ve visited in July & August so I know what that’s like. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky so this was pretty close to perfect! We arrived late morning/​early afternoon and told that the bar wasn’t open due to the wind, but we could bring in drinks from the Mirage. Later on we just ordered from our waitress but that was a nice option. The waterfall wasn’t on either… due to the wind. It was still a great day — not at all crowded where you had to get down first thing to save yourself a chair. The size of the pool is just great (way better than the size at Treasure Island). It’s about 3 ½ feet throughout.
Pool Day 2 — mid to high 70s though overcast for a while but still a great pool day! The waterfall was on this time and just great atmosphere here.
The drinks are a bit steep in price — almost $ 20 for a large beer, $ 14 for a strawberry daquiri but you’re on vacation so just go with it…

It’s a beautiful oasis where you can freeze time, take a sip from the frozen drink in your hand, and just relax. It’s great to take a quick dip or just sit and put your feet in the water before laying on a lounge chair to get some sun. The paradise café steps away has delicious burgers, friendly staff, and a perfect view of the pool and palm trees.
You forget you’re in the middle of Vegas while lying on a chaise lounge in the shade (around 10am). My friends and I visited the pool twice during our stay. The first time we just wandered around, took some pics, and ate at the Café. During the second time we had merely half an hour to enjoy the water (I just put my feet in, they swam) and used the remainder of the hour relaxing in the shade with the waterfalls, palm trees, and Caesar’s Palace as our backdrop. We seriously didn’t want to go back to work the following day. I couldn’t help but post a photo of our exclusive oasis online that Monday morning.
Stop by in the morning to avoid the crowd and get some peace of mind.

If you want to relax by the pool and not worry about someone passing you by, spilling drinks on you, or the rowdy ones shouting, this is a good place to go! There is a large waterfall that is so relaxing and soothing. I feel like I’m on an island when I come here. I don’t think the water is heated, but you’ll get used to it. Definitely cooler by the waterfall, which you can go under.
In the cabanas, a cheese and fruit tray await you, and they are delicious! I always ate at least half of each plate. TV’s are in the cabanas as well, but I’d rather catch up on some shut eye in a relaxing atmosphere.
Staff are helpful, too. There’s always someone walking around if you need them.
If you had a long night, this is definitely the spot to kick back and let the sounds of the waterfall relax you.

After a night of raucous and a gorgefest at Cravings (the buffet at the mirage). I decided to come here in my swim trunks and take a dip in the pool. The mirage pool is a really chill spot and isn’t as crowded as some of the pools at the cosmopolitan or ceasar’s palace. There are plenty of lounge chairs for you to sit on and bask in the desert sun!
After going into the water, I set up my towel and laid there and close my eyes… only to pass out for 2 hours because we didn’t sleep til 5am that night!
All in all, definitely love the atmosphere and the waterfall of the pool here!

This review is for the Oasis private pool. Well it says private but anyone willing to pay for admittance can go in and believe me on a hot summer day, it’s well worth the money. The chairs are all padded and there are umbrellas for each guest. They have a set number of reservations available so you need to plan ahead. The pool manager Amanda is great and she has a staff that anticipates your needs and remembers what you order from one day to the next. We were there last month and they all remembered us, in fact one young man remembered us from a visit last October. So now when we make our hotel reservation, if it’s during a peak season or we know it’s going to be hot, we just make an advance reservation for this wonderful pool.

Vegas has a lot of hotels to choose from, and pretty much all of them have pools. So why the Mirage? Well their pool is great. It’s also close to the dolphin exhibit, so it’s like you’re sharing the same water, except you aren’t.
The Mirage Pool has a large area for laying out, a bar area, a few water falls and tons of chairs. They also have pool side service and extra large Mojitos (like 64 oz, seriously). If you’re traveling with little ones — have no fear. Mirage Pool comes staffed with life guards.
The water temp was just right, and it wasn’t too crowded.
