Let me start off by saying most«jewelry» shops and«jewelry repair» stores in this town are rip off artists. However, Frank is an honest guy and very knowledgeable. He not only fitted my rare watch with the perfect replacement band(it looks better than the original) but he also took the time to adjust my other watch while I waited free of charge. The prices here are about half what M & I International(on spring mt/valley view) charges and the quality of service is EVENBETTER. This place was worth the drive and I will be coming back here in the future for all of my watch repair and jewelry needs. They also do engravings and polishing. 5 Stars all the way!

Based on these reviews, we went here to inquire on repairing a missing diamond on my wife’s ring. My wife and I will be sharing our perspective together below. When we arrived, two other guests were being helped. We patiently waited and browsed their collection. I found it odd that we were not even acknowledged with a greeting or a «be right with you.» When we were finally assisted, the jeweler(male) did not give us the same courtesy as the other guests. He analyzed the ring and gave the quote to repair the missing diamond. No eye contact, no «how are you doing today» type of polite conversation I would expect as a standard for service. We agreed to the cost and were passed on to a female employee to prepare the work order. She, too, was not welcoming. We realized that we weren’t told when the work would be completed. It turned out that it would take 3 days as the person who performs the work would not be there until the following day. We explained that we would rather return the following day than part with the ring overnight. She offered to speed things along but was still unsure when it would be completed. We stated that we just did not want it to sit on their shelf overnight for sentimental reasons and that we can return the next day. She was not at all understanding and said«I will have to void this work order» as though we had created a big inconvenience for this. The price to replace the diamond and to tighten up another loose diamond was fair at the $ 45 quote, But we had such a poor encounter with them that we did not want to give them our business much less leave the ring at their store. Take your business elsewhere, if you would rather not play Russian roulette with how you will be treated. It was a truly a cold and unpleasant experience.

The name says it all, this is your neighborhood jeweler. Roberto and Frank were both very friendly and knowledgeable. The jewelry for sale is previously owned which, I think, makes shopping more fun. I went in with a complicated watch band repair that didn’t look like it was going to be able to be fixed, but after some finagling Frank figured out how to put the puzzle back together using the usable parts of the broken piece; very complicated and very intricate. Thank you so much for making the watch wearable once again! I had been turned away by another jeweler so I am very happy to have the problem solved; thanks again for taking the time to figure out the puzzle and coming up with a solution! This is now MY neighborhood jeweler.

I’ve had a bunch of watches recently cleaned and new batteries and by all means that was great. My aunt recommended them and i needed some bracelets re strung with new clasps and don’t get me wrong they came out perfect. Unfortunately she never sized it correctly and 1 dost fit at all and the other is tight. craftsman ship is on point but i was never given the option of choice of clasp and was never sized correctly.

I met Roberto while doing some business in a local bank and he invited me to check out his shop. I had been procrastinating on getting several pieces of jewelry fixed fur several years and had a bag full of watches, family heirloom jewelry pieces, and other things that all needed either simple battery replacements or major repair. I had a bad experience a few years ago at Tower of Jewels and that kind of turned me off to getting my jewelry and watches repaired, but Roberto really impressed me. He’s been a jeweler for over FIFTY years. Started when he was only 12 years old. To boot, he’s gotta be one of the friendliest guys in Vegas that I’ve ever met. After promising him I would stop by, I gathered together a couple broken necklaces and a few watches and visited his shop on a Saturday. He greeted me warmly and immediately got to work on my battery replacements and watch band service requests. He then introduced me to his business manager Frank that evaluated my more complicated repairs. Both men were open, honest, and obviously experienced. My simple repairs were done within 10 minutes and the more complicated ones were done a few days later and they called me to let me know. The value was awesome and very reasonable. Much cheaper than the big guy jeweler in town, and much friendlier and in my opinion, much better work. The following week I brought another bag of jewelry that needed work and they got right on it. I cannot recommend Neighborhood Jeweler any more highly. Everyone is extremely experienced and warm and engaging. Roberto has been in that location for TWENTY years. They also sell jewelry, but honestly I cannot speak to that aspect of their business as I did not purchase any jewelry there. If you are looking for a local jeweler that knows his stuff, won’t rip you off, and you believe in supporting mom & pop small businesses in Las Vegas, then Neighborhood Jeweler is where you simply must go.

The name says it all. It literally is a small neighborhood jewellery store. The staff is always nice and friendly and the service is super quick. I take a few of my watches there to have batteries replaced about every 6 months. They do it right then and never takes more than 5 to 10 minutes. Their jewelry selection is limited, but the service is great. If you are looking for repair or quick battery replacement, they have always done a great job for me.

My mom found this place in 1998. She purchased a sapphire ring. It was a very nice ring and unique and she is very happy with it. The only issues I have is with the service and prices. I think the employees should be a little more attentive to customers and the prices could be a little more competitive.
