History

Established in 2011.

I decided to start The Power of Touch after living and working here in Las Vegas as a massage therapist since 2007. I have worked with many different aspects of massage therapy from fancy resort spas, to medical massage with a practitioner, and sports massage with athletes. I love helping others and have been able to do that through massage therapy. Las Vegas is lacking in quality massage therapist and massage and spa services with affordable price points. I have a mission to fix this. This is why I decided to start my boutique spa! We offer all the bells and whistles of a fancy resort. Fully Hydraulic heated massage table, hot towels, shower, beautiful environment, choice of music selection, hot drinks and yummy snacks, aroma therapy, luxury services such as body treatments and spa packages, and at price that doesn’t break the pocket book. Most importantly we offer real high quality medical massage that gets the job done.

I graduated from one of the top massage school in the nation NSMT, Steiner Education Group in 2007. Before massage therapy I had a medical background as an EMT, and also a CNA. I have always enjoyed helping others and have found that to be my mission in life. I have over 1500 hours of massage therapy education in both eastern and western medicine. I am a nationally certified massage therapist holding the highest accrediation possible for a massage therapist in the United states. I am a healer who is dedicated to my clients well being and continued improvement. I am certified in many modalities and therapies please inquire if you would like a more information specifically.

Consistently the best massages I’ve had from anyone in over 20 years. Stacey finds the exact pressure points that give long lasting positive results. Whenever I am in LV, I make a point to get a treatment and look forward to it for weeks prior knowing I will feel great for a LONG time after. Stacey spends a lot of time to personalize the treatment and offers lot of stretches and lifestyle-​tips to help between sessions.

Stacey is amazing!!! I have major issues because of a stressful job and sitting at a desk all day. After seeing Stacey I felt relief I have never felt before. She takes her time to look and study your body to figure out where your issues are. During our session she found every spot that gave me issues. On top of that after our sessions she went over stretches and things I should do on my own to help me. I have already recommended her to friends and co-​workers.

Stacey is an amazing therapist, with a kind heart, who really cares about her clients. After a kickboxing class in October, I left with really tight hip flexors and tight low back. The next day I couldn’t stand up straight, a few days later I was experiencing excruciating pain in my hip, which eventually escalated into intense pain in my leg and I couldn’t stand, walk, sit, or lie down comfortably for a few months. I was in so much pain I would break down and cry multiple times a day. This kept me off from work for three months. Before I found Stacey, I visited multiple chiropractors, massage therapists, physical therapists, and a general practitioner, all offering little to no relief. I was treated for muscle knots, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, bulging disc, and sciatica. Nobody could tell me exactly what was wrong or how to fix it. My MD prescribed pain pills and muscle relaxers and bed rest for two months, which I was wary of. I didn’t want to take pain pills to mask the problem, I wanted to fix what was wrong with my body. When I was finally able to get an MRI, the results showed bone spurs on my sacrum, minimal disc degeneration, and slight scoliosis. Meanwhile, the doctor bills were adding up, the pain was getting worse, and there was absolutely no way I could go to work.
In my past life I was a licensed massage therapist and heard about myofascial release in school, so I decided to give it a try. I wish I found Stacey two months earlier!!! She helped me become pain free and enabled me to finally return to work within a few weeks. It is obvious that she has attended extensive training and has done a lot of research and continues to research. Stacey is a wealth of knowledge and a very skilled massage therapist with a healing touch. She is flexible with her scheduling and I felt like she really wanted to help me get better, which was completely opposite of how I felt at my regular MD. I HIGHLY recommend.

I decided to get a massage on my mini vacation recently. I have never gotten one and was a little apprehensive about what to expect. I found Stacy on Unilocal and called her for an appointment. She was very nice and accommodated her schedule to squeeze me in to her day. As for the massage, I got the deep tissue massage and it was amazing. Stacy really knows what she is doing. It is not just a massage, she really wants to help you have your best body and be relaxed. A very pleasant experience. I will definitely go back when I am in town. The prices were extremely reasonable and she is definitely worth every penny.

I cannot speak to Stacey’s ability as a massage therapist but I do not recommend booking via the Unilocal app as it appears the appointment availability times are not up to date. I successfully booked a massage and then had it canceled as Stacey was double booked. The cancelation notice successfully arrived in email.

I had a myofascial release massage with her today, and she is magical! Very thorough, very intuitive, and very very good.

WOW! words cannot describe the experience I had today. Stacy is amazing. I went in with a tight shoulder and neck. She evaluated my needs and started work and two hours later absolutely amazing! She decided to do a medical massage on me and got rid of pain in my elbow that I’ve had for months. She started the release on my neck and shoulders and my arms from my office job. Definitely not your typical massage very detailed to what I needed and I will definitely be coming back she is amazing!

After a long week of sitting in a conference and walking on the strip, my wife wanted to get a message. She found Stacey on Unilocal and it was a good thing she did. I can’t say enough how great she is.
I love how she caters the massage to what is ailing you. She combines the perfect amount of tension needed to get out those knots and kinks I had.
When I come back to Vegas, I will definitely be back. By far, one of the best massages I had!

I found Stacey on Unilocal and specifically went to her for myofascial release on my psoas. Her evaluation was professional and thorough, and I received the most significant relief of pain on this issue for which I’ve utilized physical therapy, chiropractic (on two continents with different techniques), therapeutic massage, Thai massage, stretching, acupuncture and tension/​trauma release exercises (TRE) over many years. What I further gained (and continue to gain), though, was an excellent education on a new philosophy of stretching, which I’ve implemented at home, and aids in my recovery, as well as other tips on movement that can prevent future tightness. I’ve since asked Stacey to work on other issues, such as tight neck muscles, and had similar quality results. I highly recommend The Power of Touch.

I came to Vegas for some fun but was in quite a bit of pain from past accidents and injuries. I found Stacey on Unilocal and was interested in the Myofascial Release technique she offered. Stacey is wonderful! I need a more athletic, deep tissue massage and she nails it every time. I really like how she doesn’t just give you the canned ‘#’ minute massage. She knows how to read the tissue, target the problem areas and what stretches to incorporate to get the job done. Very knowledgable beyond just massage therapy. I highly recommend Stacey for an athletic massage because that’s all I’ve gotten from her.

On my first visit with Stacey my needs where thoroughly evaluated. She then began the physical work. As she started with my right foot I remarked: «This is the best massage I have ever had!» As she continued and got to my back I said: «I was wrong. This is the ONLY REAL massage I have ever had!!» I had a low back injury/​pain that bothered me for 35 years. Stacey was able to fix that within 2 months… a miracle.

I have had many deep tissues massages over the years but this was truly one of the best. With nerve damage and recent injuries, I needed someone who could pinpoint areas and really work to release the muscles and tension. Stacy listened and knew EXACTLY what to do. She incorporated several techniques, showed me stretches to do and, since I am not from the area, offered to send me information about specialized massage therapists in my area. She worked both my friend and I into her schedule on short notice. Talk about service above and beyond! On my next trip to Vegas, one of my first calls will be to set up a massage at Power of Touch! I’ve been really happy with Stacey’s work (obviously…I did 5 stars). A couple specific reasons for that. 1) I’m a little but bigger guy and sometimes it’s harder to find someone to really break down my tissue. Stacey handles it no problem and it’s too tough on me either. 2) She always seems to have some research she’s done for me. To me that means she’s into what she does and is pushing herself on it, which counts for something in my book.
